I think the origin of the dark matter theory was that there seemed to be 399/400 parts of mass missing in a galaxy cluster. It now seems to astrophysicists "consensus" that 95% is "missing", it might be more or less depending on how equations work out.

According to this NASA webpage on astrophysics ca. 68%(edit: oops, corrected numbers) of the universe is dark matter, ca. 27% is dark energy, that would give us around 5% ordinary matter. This is what mainstream astrophysics says.

For alot(most?) of people a dramatic shift would be a negative thing anyway. To have "knowledge" beyond capability to comprehend would be more like a curse for many. So hoping for some kind of mass ascension is not something that is natural for development. It's best to work from what we have now and keep less hope/fear to us.

To get bad results, I don't think you need a high level, just enough to feel qi and try to force it to a new pathway it's not "supposed" to take. Forcing with intensity over a period of time.
