  2. Recycling Anger.

This one is amazing. Basically the only thing you need to heal is forgive yourself, forgive everyone involved, etc. But it can be hard to do it straight up. After forgiving yourself first and then others it feels like healing starts immediately. Here's a pretty advanced "prayer" that basically goes through every step. It's used by the Jains: Michchhami Dukkadam Prayer from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Micchami_Dukkadam I forgive all living beings. May all souls forgive me, I am friendly terms with all, I have no animosity toward any soul. May all my faults be dissolved.

  7. TRIDAYA? FAKE OR REAL

I'm surprised how quickly you reached the conclusion that unseen spirit means aid from spirits. Spirit is not an easy word, you could easily replace the word qi with spirit in many instances. Even wikipedia can be useful sometimes: "The English word spirit (from Latin spiritus "breath") has many differing meanings and connotations, most of them relating to a non-corporeal substance contrasted with the material body. The word spirit is often used metaphysically to refer to the consciousness or personality."
  8. Home Taoist Altar

Why would such a person need an altar?

  10. Worst translations of TTC?

Stephen Mitchell's is the worst I've heard of. From the top review on amazon we find this quote from his "TTC": "When a country is in harmony with the Tao, the factories make trucks and tractors. When a country goes counter to the Tao, warheads are stockpiled outside the cities."
  11. Can Li Er or other taoists before Zhang San Feng be excluded from the practice of taijiquan? If they can, why not taoists who come after taijiquan was given form?
  12. Temperature of Hell

http://astro.berkeley.edu/~gmarcy/thermal/tpteacher/jokes/hell.html This seems to be the original. It also names the student and professor.
  13. The Dao De Jhing is a shamanistic treatise

I view it as neither and both. It is a deep enough book to be useful for just about anything.
  14. Shapeshifting

Easiest way to learn "shapeshifting" is to learn from animals, nature and some people. You don't really need anything(even comfort) for it.
  15. I dare not eat meat.

What? Fish aren't vegetables? Then I can't call myself a vegetarian...
  16. tummo

That was a standard way to deal with people who were considered obstacles to the progress of "scientific materialism" in the Soviet Union. They put them in a mental hospital, usually most of them were diagnosed as "sluggishly progressing schizophreniacs". One possible criteria for this disorder would put most of us here in an institution, that is the practice of meditation.
  17. enlightenment in N. Korea?

I think there is deep goverment involvement in all religions there but it's almost impossible for us to know what really goes on in there. Some tourist videos show that atleast some ancient temples are well preserved, even if empty of visitors.
