I would strongly advice against dharmaoverground. That forum encourages people to come forward and discuss their attainments openly. That is a cesspool of distortion, craziness and outrageous claims. -
Any buddhist temples, orders you can recommend?
Anderson replied to Josama's topic in Buddhist Discussion
There is a temple in Samye Ling. However this place or any other place wont give you mindfulness.Only you can develop mindfulness. And if you have your own practice is fine.Nobody will interfere with your practice. -

Samye ling Scotland. They always welcome volunteers. You will have to work though unless you have pots of money to pay for your stay. -
Refining the existing techniques and creating more techniques is the way to go.

Seeing, Recognising & Maintaining One's Enlightening Potential

The fact that you ask these questions is proof that you dont hold and not even know what the supreme view is. And your talk about mesmerizing experiences , views, lights and bullshit is all an ego trip. -
Keeping the mind clear is similar to trying to get hold of a rainbow. How did you come to the conclusion that there is something you have to keep clear ?

This statement implies that samsara and nirvana are present in a state prior to integration either mixed up or as separate conditions. The only thing prior to integration that we have is ignorance.

Supreme Budhahood can't be achieved via theravada budhism even after 3 immeasurable eons. This is another way of saying that this path has no effective means to engender total realization since their methods are based on time and effort and no matter how much they try they can never achieve total realization inside time.
-
The true path is the path that leads beyond both samsara and nirvana.

Only mind has faith. When mind is bypassed there is no more faith.

DharmaWheel, pressure between the eyebrows, bad advice
Anderson replied to Tibetan_Ice's topic in Buddhist Discussion
You probably don't understand english very well. I am not demonstrating any mentality .I am merely demonstrating the difference between a doxographical category and a practical application of a certain view. I doubt that you have received anything remotely close to practices belonging to Yangti. You have shown on numerous occasions that you have no understanding, no proper instruction and no respect for anything related to dzogchen. You are free to make arbitrary distinctions based on no knowledge whatsoever -

Please provide details where rinpoche has maintained that yangti is higher than thogal. In any case yangti is not a practice but a doxographical category , a colection of views and histories wich contains practices like dark retreat and such whereas thogal is a method of practice, a practical application of a certain view.
