    Dont contemplate. Non-atachement doesnt exist.
  2. Where to start on pursuing Naropa's 6 Yogas?

Dont forget 3 years of preliminaries
  3. Should I Go Buddhist?

If you're asking... My answer is dont become a budist. Instead aim to understand your mind with the use of buddhist methods and advice from realized teachers. When it comes to attending teachings do not listen to anybody unless they've realized what they teach. Chokyi Nyima R... , yes.
  4. The first jhana - practice instructions

THAT website is the last place i would go to seek advice about practice. Is the place where spiritually deviant people gather.
  5. And your teacher Taklung Tsetrul Rinpoche confirmed that you have completed the fourth vision ?
  6. I don't know if you are very deluded or you are joking. People who've completed the four visions can perform all manner of miracles and teach others. If you visit me in my dream tonight i will believe you.😊
  7. Are thogal visions nimittas?

Which is the sense that functions in the dark when there are lights and vissions of all kinds still appearing?
  8. Are thogal visions nimittas?

But the basis doesnt need a biological support. A Buddha's existence is beyond the limits of an organism as understood by biological sciences. If the basis would need a support to manifest its purpose we would call that dependently arisen.
  9. Are thogal visions nimittas?

But they cant have biological components since they are natural formations arising from the primordial basis
  10. Are thogal visions nimittas?

Are there people who've achieved the result of dzogchen without transmission? Name one...
  11. Are thogal visions nimittas?

Whenever you write about thogal or various experiences you may be having you seem to forget the most fundamental element without which thogal visions do not develop beyond a certain point, natural state. If you are not in the natural state when practicing thogal the vissions will NOT DEVELOP beyond a certain point. You need to understand this. That whatever you are going through, whatever experiences nimiitas, colours, aparent thigles you may be having they are not of the realm of natural state but that of the mind.
  12. Problems with practicing alone

Hi Adia, If you read my posts here you will come to know that i am somewhat familiar with buddhism. In the SUPREME PATH OF BUDDHISM we keep our spirit close, whenever we meditate. We meditate paying attention to ourselves never letting our thoughts STEAL our SPIRIT and LEAD us into domains unknown. This is the way we control our spirit from wondering wildly into UNKNOWN TERRITORIES. KEEP your SPIRIT CLOSE

The last section of the preliminary practices chapter is " Dzogchen view " which is no longer than 2 pages. There is nothing in it about methods of self initiation.
  14. Vajra strands

I wonder what Yongdzin Rinpoche would say about the fact that one by applying certain methods can self initiate or that one can practice thogal without transmission from a qualified guru. Can you point me to where in the "heart drops" book there is a mention about self initiation ?
  15. Vajra strands

Are you saying that one can self initiate just by reading a text ? I never heard that one can receive initiation that way .This is not how dzogchen works and gets transmitted. And what is SIx Lamps ?
  16. Vajra strands

Thank you for being vague. "Sympathies" have been invented to cover the inability to help and the lack of knowledge
  17. Vajra strands

Ah... you must be one of those mythical and rare individuals who discovers their nature during introduction. Nobody means nobody.
  18. Vajra strands

Usually introduction doesnt work. Nobody realises anything during introduction. Yeah..That's a belief like "I believe in god". My teacher tells us with almost every webcast that this life is like a big dream.Does that help ? No.Most of us are still deluded and cant make use or sense of that expression. Serving us expressions like these it doesn't help. The only thing we can do with them is we either believe or disbelieve them. Which is unfortunate because dzogchen is not about construing new beliefs. But the sad fact is that most of the time, the teachings received from our teachers if they fail to destroy the vail of obscurations through initiation and introduction, all they do is they serve as material for more and more beliefs. We accumulate beliefs all the time and that's due to our inability to see the truth or reality that expression points to.

No, you are mistaken. Read Great Perfection - Outer and Inner Preliminaries by the Third Dzogchen Rinpoche Vol 1 and you will understand.
  20. Vajra strands

I agree, they are not floaters. They are called blue field entoptic phenomena. However in my message above i was replying to a picture Dao has posted where the objects look more like floaters rather than the sparkly dots. But yes, none of these are vissions in the sense we are discussing here.
  21. Vajra strands

I would say one comes to contemplation. Because, as you point out, if one leaves behind the observation which is an activity of mind there is just the flavor of all pervading presence beyond any distinctions.
