  1. Comment to the first picture: An unusual grip on a katana.
  2. Lower Dantian / Hara vs. Third Eye

And the wlp members that was here a year ago stated that a book is not enough, you need a method and a teacher as well.
  3. Tibetan psychokinetic development

That's easy. Your body is perfect food for a number of species. And a perfect habitat as well.
  4. Lower Dantian / Hara vs. Third Eye

Unless yellow middle =yellow court, which places you higher up, closer to the middle......
  5. Commonly Closed Chakras

That makes the situation complicated. There are a number of chakras along the central line. They might, or not, overlap with the three dantiens. That in its turn depend on where you feel they are located. And then these energetic centers will have different connections to a bunch of functions. And some people have the sensitivity to feel or see this. Question: Would you be in agreement on what you sense?
  6. Fighting Apathy

@liminal_luke Good post! Can't agree more. Feeling trapped in a situation puts you in a risk of hopeless surrender. If you feel yourself stoop more, straighten up and look ahead. A collapsed body structure will enhance all those negative emotions.
  7. How do you protect your qi?

You could do it the classical way! Find a cave or build a hut. Practice sealing the senses. POWER
  8. What is Theosophy?

I followed this link, typed in Drew Hempel, and immediately got redirected to a sex site.
  9. Zen

... we have smoked some good shit.
  10. Lower Dantian / Hara vs. Third Eye

And there are centers between the above. Why settle for developing just one?
  11. "Removed"

Interesting. Asking for two masters. One a known con-man. The other one is this one. Recruiting?
  12. "Removed"

Not even if you are a Koga ninja?
  13. Golden Flower Meditation

Pointless though, trying to convince someone who hold the opposite opinion. Does the MCO hold no possible benefits? Aligning your body have health benefits. Adjusting your breath have health benefits. Calming your mind have health benefits. Having interesting internal experiences can have psychological benefits. But this can be done without the MCO. So is it just the MCO that is pointless? Solution: Practice yoga
  14. Golden Flower Meditation

The light that can pop up spontaneously in some methods is entertaining though. And, at times, annoying.
  15. "Removed"

C/o Iga province, Japan. Ashida Kim lives next door.
  16. Golden Flower Meditation

Without the quote, so there is room for mistakes : 1) You activate the fire. 2) The fire burns up the central channel, incinerating obstacles and blockages. 3) The fire melts the white bindu in the head. 4) The white bindu extinguish the fire. 5) Emptiness remains.
  17. Golden Flower Meditation

If I find the time, I will quote a fairly good explanation of the usefulness of raising kundalini, which differs from having a kundalini syndrome. Unless CT beats me to it.
  18. The no-enlightenment thread

Or: Living a protected life. Being shocked when facing sickness, old age, and death. Leaving everything in a desperate quest to understand and solve this. Five years of aescetic practices, building up energy, frustration and doubt. Sitting next to a tree and let go. Sounds like hard work. Which differs from gulping down a latte and flopping my ass down on the ground for half an hour a day
  19. meditation and channels

L Maybe this thread needs help. Or "help". I'll start. Simplified: In the body there are routes for energy, we can call them channels. Acupuncturists use the six channels a lot, they have names like shaoyang, yang ming and taiyin. Daoists often use the eight extraordinary channels, they have names also, like Du, Ren, Dai, Chong and so on. Buddhists also sometimes use channels, like Ida, Pingala and Shushumna. All of these can be used in meditation, and soon the point of this thread is going to be released to the attention -deficit TDB crowd.
  20. They are having an equal opportuneties thing going on, women are called monks instead of nuns. Modern touch!
  21. The no-enlightenment thread

Kundalini Tantra, downloadable, explains that one.
