Elaborating the golden pill, my progress and doubts
silent thunder replied to Celestial Fox Beast's topic in Daoist Discussion
Another narrative. Not an objective assessment. -
Nice distinctions lerner... Mastery of what? All of life? Meditation? What kind? Internal Energy work? Define internal... Which aspect of life is one a master, and who is determining? Among my trade craft registry I am a recognized master craftsman in the fields of sculptor/fabricator/woodworker/metalsmith... but others may not even be able to recognize let alone gauge my abilities as they've never witnessed them, or they lack familiarity with the material process to assess as a qualified observer. Does this make me a fake? In truth, we are all assessed (if we are recognized) by all others we impact... and honestly their take on life is their take... it's not true or not true... it's just their perspective, their story. Opinion. Even experience is opinion to a degree... it's interpretive, not objective. Perhaps this is why so many teachers have devout students and intense detractors? Not all lessons resonate and not all methods of sharing affect others similarly. And mastery occurs in so many varied aspects of life and throughout one's life the process of mastery may grow and diminish. It is not like some edifice that is built and endures unchanging, mastery... nothing among the manifest is unchanging, it, us and all is always unfolding in presence and confluence of the aggregate influences of all in all. Part of making the claim that any other master is fake... is to by inferrence prop one's self up as The Arbiter who is above them, and by their perception is capable of properly assessing the situation and determining what is the reality as a qualified observer. This is a narrative and assumption to me. A product of The Storyteller Within. The one who makes narratives of snippets of observed phenomenon and projects it into reified noumenon. Naive Realism is the assumption that what arises in our awareness through our perceptions is 100% reality. This has been patently rejected by philosophers since the Greeks. We simply do not perceive reality as it is. Humans interpret the transduction process of signals from our environment through our perceptual apparatus. And those signals are partial information at that... (even with our scientific instruments we perceive directly less than 5% of the universe). Yet our experience is of a whole universe, so it is natural to perhaps forgive to an extent our capacity to assume we see and can gauge all. Doubting and Observation seem crucial for my process due to the nature of the storyteller and the transductive nature of human perceptual processing. Absolute certainty always raises the flag of late.

Have you ever been blessed by someone?
silent thunder replied to idiot_stimpy's topic in General Discussion
Wow stimpy! yes! a thousand times yes. This is perhaps the central pivot to my experience and process of life and cultivation. Much of my life has been the process of coming to a dynamic dance of processing, engaging/rejecting/accepting and releasing the energies that flow through awareness and physicality from the environment around me. And the resultant stories that derive from their impact. Perhaps more than any other aspect of life... the influence of the fields of energy emitted by 'others' has been a driving force behind my exploration of my own personal nature. Who Am I? what am i? Where do "i" begin and where does 'other' leave off? Particularly in how these influences trigger The Storyteller and the narratives that derive from it and what they reveal about my true nature. Also the process of developing a dimmer switch was a driving force for cultivation whereby in certain places, and around certain fields i might dampen or soften the impact on awareness of various influences coming in... -
If pro is the opposite of con... Does that imply the opposite of Progress is Congress?

Female enlightened master Rajini Menon on distinguishing between the inner voice and mind noise
silent thunder replied to Ajay0's topic in Hindu Discussion
So grateful you both shared this, this morning... such resonance for me. Thank you! There has been and is, an engaging dance unfolding within a field in local awareness along what used to be the border between the experience of 'this i do' and 'these other things happen to me'. There used to be a clear line of demarcation or border for my local awareness' experience of what i do as an organism and what occurs via the environment of which i as an organism am an intrinsic expression of... lately inner and outer not only reflect, but merge and intermingle in a manner that was unsought, unexpected, mildly disorienting and beneath all of it... absolutely resounding with potency mixed with bouyancy. -

@kakapo I'm surprised you find worth in it. Since it wasn't stripped to its underwear with scientists there to observe it while on video... -
I've nothing more to add to this topic.

Rabbit Hole perhaps?

Yup the materialist paradigm of last century's ceramic model is melting in the face of awakening. Donald Hoffman, Bernardo Kastrup, Iain McGuilcrest just off the top of my head are all making strides through scientific method and mathematical modeling to present consciousness/awareness as the baseline of reality. Idealism is alive and well and what twenty years ago would be disastrous for your career in Neurochemistry, Physics, Neurobiology is becoming the frontier of exciting developments and is gaining traction as fantastic minds grapple with the basic premise of the nature of reality.

AI is little more than pieced together plagiarism. It has no gravity for my awareness. -

He stopped posting when he received pushback over his claims of using his subtle body techniques derived from sitting full lotus and flexing his vagus nerve to sexually stimulate/assault teen girls in public places... He read as highly imbalanced and delusional, over time it became more extreme.

Most accurate Golden Flower translation?

Your comment redolently reeks of a perspective mired in naive realism, projection and assumption. Pure story time. -

And have you interviewed and tested each one who read it TT? You have some whoppers maye but this one is top tier. The Naive Realism is flowing on da bums today... -
I lean in to the foods that helped my ancestors get me here... processed foods seemed fine in my earlier decades but at this point they ring alarm bells. Some are ok occasionally, others are a hard never.
