How incredible! What a great story! Thanks for sharing. It seems like this was surely the inspiration for that great Taoist film Being There. Peter Seller's portrayal of a taoist sage idiot in that is on another level.

"Meditation can lead people into possible psychosis," according by Dr. Miguel Farias, author of "The Buddha Pill: Can Meditation Change You?"
silent thunder replied to zen-bear's topic in Group Studies
While it certainly seems to be beneficial in the long run, it's far from a pleasant process... inquiring into one's true nature. When successful, nothing withstands the process... all of our preconceptions about our self, notions of good and evil, projections and false senses of 'other', false notions, long held illusions, beliefs all incinerated in the unrelenting flame of authentic awareness.- 40 replies

Perfection! I'll bring the Ginger Tea. -
Dragon Gate is another route open to you. Wang Liping offers regular retreats around the world. I sat with him two years ago in my home city, another game changer. Three of us experienced healing at this retreat. Healers abound, we live in a golden age, techniques long hidden are opening. John wishes to be left alone, you won't find such a man, when he wishes not to be found. nor would you need to... there's a healer near you.
