I can't italicize words anymore!
Desert Eagle replied to deci belle's topic in Forum and Tech Support
your welcome about hassle, you can ctrl+c (copy) the code and paste it where you want. another way which might be easier and faster is to use taobums editor or notepad whichever then when you want to start italicizing you can put a symbol such as $ (dollar sign) or whatever symbol not commonly used. then when you want to end the italicizing you can put another symbol such as % (percent symbol). then you copy-paste the whole article into notepad or other editor with a "Search and Replace" function then "replace all" $ with beginning "i" code then repeat replace all % symbol with end code for "i". this way you can just put the $ and % symbols as you type without the need to highlight text. then after you finish you can "replace all" and get the "i" codes. -
Is the only reason not to commit suicide - Fear-based, shame-based, or guilt-based?

logical thinking about potential for improvement and getting away from it all being a better fate. objectively seeing my emotions and what causing them and then transforming them. psychotherapy or NLP. but if only the drugs talk then Scotty is right to use stronger and better drugs with positive effects such as salvia, ayahuasca, San Pedro Cactus, or ibogaine. better to use them with shamanic guidance though. there is a chinese recipe to quit drugs where you eat a lot of red raddish and vinegar. -

Thank you so much for sharing this, it has helped me more than china and peru combined. The other DVDs look good too but very expensive, please keep me posted about special offers if available. I look forward to seeing your other threads about mudras as well. I was thinking of going to their school but saw that it is by invitation only.

Christian missionary converted by tribe

I agree with your points about virtue, burning of karma, trials and temptations, and some negative qigong practices, and other points however I see a possibility for a different interpretation of what you have experienced. As for the demons it is possible that they are real or that they are manifested. If they are real then that does not necessarily mean that everything else in the Bible is true. It could have been capable people in the past who saw those entities and then the stories were changed later. By the way you said that you also saw angels but you haven't mentioned an example as you did with the demons. Prayer could be affirmation and programming to the higher self and virtuous nature to affect change in a realm where the demons would be affected. If we have it in our nature to cultivate virtue and project our will then we can affect those realms without appeal to god. Is it fully understood how prayer and appeal to god works? Is it fully understood how humans affect other realms and each other? Can the cultural environment affect our faith? In metaphysics there is the concept of N squared and in different qigong systems the concept of the energy field and how it interacts with the universe. If given higher energy through practice, wouldn't a collective group of humans be able to manifest greater events and greater details of reality? Karma is also known as a universal law related to vibrations and conduct that is not necessarily ascribed to monotheistic religion. Also, what if mainstream religion does not teach any alchemy or self empowerment? -

I tried the same option and got the same error, it is not working. Shouldn't it be either enabled or grayed out? -

One way to work around it is to "multiquote" the posts you want then press "add reply" at the bottom and you will get the quoted posts along with the poster name, date and time of the posts. Then you can copy those quotes and exit back to your personal forum and choose where to paste them into such as a different thread or a new one. You could remove the quote tags just to get the text but it will look less organized. You can then delete the quoted posts from their source if you want. -

Just curious about this line on a poll I make because I have not been able to see any names or what they chose, perhaps it only applies to the maker of the poll? where if he/she ticked a choice in his/her own poll then their name would show up for others to see (but the maker of the poll can't see his/her name)? -

I would like to know what are those scares and which end of the spectrum is more damaging? Ps. I would like to invite any disapproving views as well so I can learn. I have presentation problems and have a knack for misunderstandings.

I also wanted to add that masturbation addiction does not necessarily come with sexual thoughts but the addiction to the act its self.

"Where the mind goes the chi follows", I forgot about this point thanks for reminding me. It is true but I did not intend to be focused on the genitals or sexual thoughts and thereby indeed losing more energy. How to stop a natural force? I wasn't recommending to stop the thoughts necessarily but to redirect and transform them. The stoppage is only a part of the action not the entire action. The pain creates neural connections to be able to control the energy flow just by feeling it. This would otherwise be trained in for long hours. This method is a blip in memory, a temporary stage where I needed it. Sign posts along the way written on them a message my objective self feeling the damages wanted to communicate to the raging energies saying "hay what is this doing to me?" and "better do something else more constructive". The modern media culture as you said has cultivated unhealthy imbalances and coupled with it no knowledge on what to do with this energy except to masturbate as if this was its intended purpose. And you do that a lot while young and not feel the consequences because you are young. And with that not realizing it's potential, which is the whole point. I was like that except I probably did it more but I was sensitive to changes. Yeah it shouldn't just be protecting but redirecting as well. The rubber band is nothing compared to clove oil, it's generalized and not focused enough to stop the urge so it would probably cause OCD and annoyances. I jokingly asked a friend if they buy a cut penis. Too much energy without direction would cause problems too but you said you are also not familiar with the damages that this method addresses. So I feel that you have not realized the motivation for this method. Telling of "there is a problem" but giving no real solution. That is a subjective variable, just because you don't feel it doesn't mean there is no better potential. Not really thinking so or trying to stop the thoughts. Letting the thoughts take their course but when the energy is directing to physical lust, I reign it in and tell it to calm down and not be attached. Again, redirection not stopping. Smile, think of something else, when too close remember the damages. Furthermore, this method is a tool to direct the energy and move it around, not just thinking or conceptualizing. You can forget about thinking and just remember to use the oil and remember the pain. However, the dilemma here for me is how to convey the issue to someone who hasn't experienced the damages and the benefits? not just advice for the contrary but actually feeling where the advice comes from? From the aforementioned thread we see that masturbation can lead to vital prenatal jing loss and the person suffers long term as if he poisoned himself and life will be an uphill struggle. The temporary enjoyment was merely the sensation of energy moving out. And since most males masturbate and sometimes too frequently, I felt that the hazard wasn't emphasized enough. If you were born a "super stud" or had a supportive environment where the urge was transformed and you caught on early on to sport, healthy social life, healthy diet, qigong/yoga/martial arts then congratulations you probably don't need this method and you probably haven't experienced the extreme negative results of over-indulgence and aren't aware of or do not see the urgency of this matter. It's the same when a healthy person does not feel his fortune until he loses his health. If however you have over-indulged and hit rock bottom and experienced some or all of the symptoms then you need to seriously consider remedial measures as a matter of survival. I agree with you that thoughts have a great power in this matter and that retention gives them even more power. But I thought I was clear that this a temporary tool that was not much about thinking as it is about redirecting, and I'm sorry if I was not clear. Stopping, thinking and conceptualizing too much without redirecting the natural energy is like a dam that will overflow. Thanks for the input and sorry for the misunderstandings.
