dark path as in negative or unpaved? is there a contradiction between unforced action and mastering the breath? welcome to taobums.

I saw in an anime that deals with martial arts and qigong training called kenichi that the master took the disciple to an ancient undisturbed forest in Yamagata and he said that it was because the chi there is stronger and helps expedite the training progress and the student noticed this surge of energy. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KNmlS2QOHxs#t=3m23s Some animes can be an accurate reference but I'm sure there other references to the effect of a good environment on training. I went once to the wilderness and got so much energy in 3 days that I had a very noticeable improvement in my health and reduced need for sleep. Maybe it's not malevolent spirits, Perhaps those trees are more evolved spiritually so that you can sense their presence? Max Christensen in his book about Kunlun recommended that you ask permission from the trees near you before you start practice.

maybe it all comes down to wanting to avoid pain and suffering? perhaps you associated darkness with being subject to surprise attack or unexpected suffering. We are vulnerable creatures and it is good to be vigilant. oh, then maybe it is haunted. I read that feeling deep fright and maybe paralyzed by it with hairs standing is because of a nearby spirit or ghost. the body somehow feels the presence instinctively.

yes IRC is nice but it doesn't seem to have a following here, maybe only 2 or 3 people interested. I chose the name arbitrarily, anything is ok.

have you deleted all the posts? perhaps that is the way to delete the blog automatically like some other sites, if this is the case then maybe the only way is to start a new blog.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Age_of_consent http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adultism interesting discussion here at reddit, what if numerical age is not an accurate criteria of consent? what if we advance in science or taoism to change the age of consent?

The Art of Shen Ku: The Ultimate Traveler's Guide : The First Intergalactic Artform of the Entire Universe concise and dense in useful information with a lot of good art, my kind of book. -
btw, I meant sleeping with without having sex, that is being in close company not the sexual meaning of the word. hmm you could easily incriminate anyone with being a sexual pedophile nowadays, but I think you know that I meant strangers not parents but this applies to them as well.

My opinion is that being around children, even sleeping with them brings good chi and yin/yang balance regardless of modern taboos, however in practice in this imperfect world this is not ok because a lot of people confuse this want for energy with sex as the only means to get it. I thought pedophilia technically meant love of children not sex with children. Dr. Yang Jwing Ming in his book Qigong, The Secret of Youth, translated a chinese document where it was recommended to have young boys to do the abdominal massage in the early stages of practice, and Dr. Yang commented that that was because of their yin/yang balance. (pages 128 and 171) I also though that in Philosophical taoism that nothing is taboo to talk about but that this forum is based in a country where there are laws against posting images of children or perhaps talking about them in a sexual context. I believe that Hugo is not one to be thought of as being pedophile in the sexual sense and that he in no way should be punished for this thread. I agree with Scotty and SiliconValley1, thank you.

I want one too According to the others here you need to request one via a private message to sean or Yoda, I already sent to sean but no reply, Yoda seems to be away too. You can start a blog though but It doesn't get as much traffic as the other sections and I'm not sure if it is immune to google-search like personal practice.

I found this book called "The art of Shen Ku" (Stigweard's previous avatar) and previewed it and found it to be an invaluable pool of references, it has a lot of things including homeopathy, gardening, martial arts, fishing, acupressure, and many things of usefulness with great comic-book style art. Included were two pages of exercises for the eyes (pages 136-7 I think) and I tried them and had good results and I'm a "desk-bound" person. Also the DVD mentioned earlier by Meir Schneider had a new type of self massage I never saw before and it gives me great comfort and improvement. I chopped down the video and removed the audio for easier learning. I already bought Luetin and smilisan eye drops from swanson so looked up Nei Zhang Yan Ming Wan at amazon and that product looked shabby is this formula available at dragonherbs? I only found "Eagle Vision" there. Thanks, DE

"All science is merely a means to an end. The means is knowledge. The end is control. Beyond this remains only one issue: Who will be the beneficiary?" ~Chapter 15 page 26 One day I checked a local patent periodical catalog (200+ pages) to see if there were any patents made by local scientists and found that there were none but patents by international corporations such as Colgate-Palmolive, GlaxoSmithKline, and similars.

bilberry, milkthistle, cod liver oil, and many other supplements I take and benefit from. I hope to soon try indiumease, nattokinase and others. Dr. Mercola has a list of ingredients to be careful with in a supplement on this page: http://products.mercola.com/multivitamin-c...rens-chewables/

Yes indeed, we create our own reality and this campaign and holywood are influencing that reality. I want to make a big thread about that sometime.
