Awesome. lol I'm practicing those keys to happiness right now and they've worked wonders! The love of the spiritual path (or any path) is an important key to really awaken those qualities haha keep it up!

Powerful experience...what meditations do you practice?

Very interesting...I'd like to know more about your experiences...they sound similar to a few things I've experienced as well.

Even though this is my first post, I've been reading posts on TTB for a few years! I've learned alot from the discussions on here, but this time I plan on being in the discussions to offer my wisdom as well instead of spectating...

Thank you, viator. Well to start off, I'm a 22 year old guy...been into many spiritual/esoteric practices since I was 16 and have been learning and experimenting for the past 6 years with many different concepts and philosophies of those practices. I've experienced too much to hold everything in and realized how utterly lonely and discouraging it is to try and share so much, only to be ignored by the ones who matter the most...which ultimately led to a cessation of the arts...in so many words I'm here now to rekindle the passion that was once a powerful motivating force for delving into the arts.

There was a point in time when I only simply believed in what is called past lives, but after weeks of deep meditation, I started reliving events from past lives whenever it was necessary. For example, I have very long hair and a few years ago I tried learning how to braid from many people (so I could keep my hair away from my face!) but the teachings never settled with me and I was stumped...after 3 days of failing, I began meditating at night and immediately I felt strong vibrations in my body and the next thing I knew....I was a young African girl in an ancient time(I knew it was an ancient time based on a powerful intuitive feeling), braiding a woman's hair with amazing speed and skill. As I braided her hair, there were very pleasurable sensations running through my fingers and abruptly the event ended and I was my current "self" again. But my fingers still retained the sensations and I had this strong feeling that I knew how to braid...so to make a long story short, I braided all of my hair within 10 minutes of reliving that event from a former life and have been braiding things ever since.

As soon as I wake up, I keep my eyes closed and I practice moving my consciousness around my house with fantastic results... Because upon waking, your body is already in a deeply relaxed state and your mind is still blank (like going into the Emptiness/Void), so practically any spiritual work at the moment of waking provides excellent progress!
