  1. Global Revolution!

As always, Taomeow is correct in all things. joeblast, I disagree with Mitt Romney in saying that corporations are people. I think that corporations are spirits, and very powerful corporations are very powerful spirits. The evil ones shun sunlight and love spreading lies. They prey on gullible people, particularly fundamentalists of all stripes. I'm a little disturbed to find that there are gullible taoists who have swallowed unquestioned nonsensical corporatist propaganda, but I suppose that is my own prejudice.
  2. the Wall Street protest has absolutely nothing to do with the zeitgeist movement or Venus Project
  3. something's up?

No, it is indeed based on sales. Recent sales. There is a steep drop off on ratings if your sales are old, if that makes any sense--the rating is very time sensitive. And yes, writing is a tough business. You can't get mainstream visibility unless you publish with an established publisher, and you can't make any money if you publish with an established publisher.
  4. something's up?

Oh, as for decent income, you can't make a decent income by being a published author anymore. Unless you are in to pulp mass market and you churn out a book a year and have the full marketing support of your publishing house behind you, including bookstore placement.
  5. something's up?

The amazon index is very volatile, very time sensitive. One book bought will cause it to shoot up. I made it to the top 50 by amazon ranking after I was on Rachael Ray's show. But even making it to the top 50 wasn't enough books sold to reach the quota to get beyond my advance and start making money. I also was on Dr. Oz. And HBO's Real Sex show.

I will take this cue to pimp my book http://www.amazon.com/Orgasmic-Diet-Revolutionary-Libido-Orgasm/dp/030735265X
  7. Kunlun:4 Years later

Cam, when you first started Kunlun you kind of flipped out. I'm glad you have found balance and I'm sure you were more advanced four years ago than I am now, so I am not saying this as a knowledgeable nor an experienced person, just an observer. Obviously you are very devoted to the way, moving to China, and I'm guessing that you are now advanced enough to benefit from Max. From what I saw here at TTB's, the very advanced adepts who took Kunlun thought it was wonderful and had no problems, but the beginners had problems. I don't think that saying that is necessarily such a bad thing; it proves the power of the Kunlun practice.
  8. OK Seriously Where To Get KUNLUN BOOK?

I mean wizard the way it is commonly meant in the vernacular. I concur with Trunk--Max is dangerous. That isn't necessarily a bad thing. I suppose all high-level masters are dangerous, if you think about it. If a student is both strong and very experienced, and most importantly ready for a very powerful trickster master, he's worth looking into, I would assume (I personally am neither strong nor experienced). This is an account of my own experience, which may, of course, simply be the product of an overactive imagination. I think that ANY man withholding ejaculation for 100 days is absolutely freaking nuts. Unless they are over fifty years old. I don't care what sort of internal transmutation is going on. And Max was recommending that basically newbies, with very little training, do this. I don't know if he still teaches that. So, being a bit of a playful trickster myself, and also an energy vamp, I reached out to him to play a practical joke. He has very strong defenses. Once that connection was made I realized that he is like me, except much more sophisticated, in that he pulls energy from people. Again, I'm not saying that people like me are necessarily eviiiil, although I'm sure some here might disagree (*cough* tulku *cough* ). And it might have just been a very strong mirror shield and I was simply getting back my own medicine a hundredfold. But I don't think it was just that--I do think he was tapping his students. This was back at the beginning when he was here and being hailed as some sort of messiah, and also collecting neophytes. I thought then and I still think that he has no business teaching clueless newbies, although I don't see how one could make a living teaching only the very advanced. Maybe he could use his siddhi powers to win the lottery or something. In other words, I am praising him with faint damnation. I would say if a person has been a devoted student for many years under several masters and is willing to get into a cage with a tiger--Max is very powerful and I would assume could teach his powerful ways to an adept. But such an adept would need very strong boundaries of self, considerable spiritual strength, and wisdom earned from years of work. Let's just say I know myself and I'm not that person. And neither was Cam, IMHO, and obviously Yoda wasn't ready for it either.

If you watched Strangers With Candy, it might cheer you up. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7eTyf5BpwQ4&
  10. OK Seriously Where To Get KUNLUN BOOK?

Max is a very strong wizard--very very powerful.
  11. MY BODY IS A CAGE

Here, this video should be watchable in the U.S. my entity

    Hmm...maybe it's this: http://livestre.am/PlNN
  13. How to get rid of Kundalini...HELP

That doesn't sound like a kundalini problem--it sounds like an outside force problem. Not that I'm an expert or anything!
  14. OK Seriously Where To Get KUNLUN BOOK?

Personally, I burned Max's book, but that's just me.
  15. something's up?

I've been told it's too yin Lots of fish oil, some iron (for younger women), a good multi, cal/mag/zinc, that's what I recommend publicly. Personally I've been taking some extra stuff, but I'd feel uncomfortable recommending the extra stuff to everybody. It's probably the iron I've been taking interfering with my sulfur. I started taking MSM, a type of sulfur, and it really has made a dramatic change to my health.
  16. Immortals (Xian Shi)

Bother, does that mean I'm not a taoist after all?
  17. something's up?

Well, personally something quite remarkable has happened to me. I've found the last piece for my nutritional alchemy. Since everyone's biochemistry is different, I doubt that this particular discovery would have any interest for anyone else, and I have a feeling that some of my wacky nutritional experimentation has thrown my system out of kilter. I must have caused deficiency in this last nutrient, and taking it has had a profound effect on my health. Still waiting on any sort of universal big reveal.
  18. Material desire is Illusion

Personally I think people need to be more materialistic, just in a balanced, harmonious way. If people carefully pruned down their possessions to a minimum so they could truly focus on the things they owned and love those things, and they made sure that those things were top quality and fair trade and zero waste, etc. the world would be a much better place. There shouldn't be disposable ANYTHING, except for emergencies and medical usage. And if people were focused on the finest quality foods, that everything be organic, fresh, local and fair trade, and that the foods themselves were worthwhile (there's a reason it's called "junk" food) that we would all be healthier, happier and live longer.
  19. The origins of alchemy (and chemistry)

Very interesting and it doesn't surprise me at all.
  20. My left hand path (for -K-)

I believe Lugol's is Lugol's. It's been around forever and was considered a panacea a century ago--some people carried it in tiny necklace flasks so they would never be without it. It's now illegal to sell it at that concentration in the U.S.--here it's no higher than 2%. As long as you adjust the dose accordingly, you should be fine, unless they added something nasty to it on purpose so it couldn't be used internally (the way they do with rubbing alcohol). But if they did that it should say so on the bottle. Please proceed careful if you do try an iodine detox. I'm posting this again: http://breastcancerchoices.org/bromidedetoxsymptomsandstrategies.html If you have a lot of bromide in your system, if it all flushes out at once you can feel like you're being poisoned. It also flushes out some of the other -ine/ide chemicals stored in the body, so you can feel like hell.
  21. My left hand path (for -K-)

I'm still at the "better living through chemistry" phase. Most of what I take is on the basic end, nothing tricky, although I am taking some stuff to counteract the modern diet and chemical exposure, like Logol's iodine. That's why I'm taking the glutathione, for its antioxidant purposes. Of course you are much more advanced with all this. I'm still at the basic detox stage.
  22. My left hand path (for -K-)

No kidding. Fluoride and iodine, for starters. I have a question about glutathione. I've been taking a bioavailable version for a while now. Pricey stuff. I'm doing it for antioxidant reasons, but does it also help with cognition?
  23. My left hand path (for -K-)

Most men value women's fourth chakra energy as little as most women value men's semen. Getting energy up to my head didn't make me feel any smarter, although opening my third eye was handy. So I can see things more clearly now, see things for what they really are, like, for example, the value of semen. And I'm composting. And I'm doing lots of home cooking now--I bought things to help with food storage and home cooking. It changes a person's perspective. That sounded really silly. I'm buying more fair trade things. I can see the consequences of things. Bah, it's hard to explain. But as for smarts, like solving math problems, a more practical thing would be iodine, acetyl-L-carnitine and R-lipoic acid
  24. I have plunked down my cash, I have a T-shirt--I'm doing this. It is in a tiny basement room in Chinatown and quite a commute for me, but I know it's going to be so worth it.
