Welcome!

"People should know what exactly is wrong behavior at this forum, and know the exact line not to cross" There are a few ways of knowing, I think. Some of them are 'internal' IMO, some of them are 'external'. When the two become one is what (part of) my cultivation practice is about. This is a great thread for info for me. Thank you.

Will do tomorrow am.

I dunno, I'm sure it must seem ridiculous from Turtle_Shell's POV, otherwise you wouldn't post about it, right Turtle_Shell? Like I said, I'm learning and as it turns out it's a hellova set of 'practice conditions'. :-)

I just got here. I think that's a bit harsh on your part. There is a discussion in progress. Aside from ripping people apart, do you want to suggest things? I'm learning my way around the moderation and (so far) it's not that clear cut.

I was given it by my teacher when I called him while having a very rough time (I took KAP as a course). If memory serves, it calmed everything down. Were I to be cynical or (one could argue, 'worse', pseudoscientific) about mantra today, I could do that. But I haven't done enough IMO/IME to give it a decent run. I didn't chant out loud.

Practice, lifestyle, and personal preference

I love coffee but not too much. It's going so I love lots of things, but not too much. I doubt I'd be at full strength with too much crap in my system. But why? -
Expressing oneself creatively, How do you do it?

I LOVE that stuff! -
What about it 'moves through you'? Sorry, I thought that was missing.

V interesting post SB. I'm currently looking at Xtianity as a 'Bakti-yoga'. But I don't reckon it gets presented as such very often? In fact, does the way something gets presented change anything? The usual suggestion is it depends upon the person. The suggestion further than this is it depends on neither the person nor the teacher but the awakened mind they share.

A lot of research and then sharing it with people. It's a pretty strange job IMO/IME. -

Through my work. What I do, in general, can't always been seen or touched. It's tough IMO/IME when whatever you're creating isn't immediately or always tangible. Creativity is not necessarily material, is what I'm getting at. Ruiz and some others suggest one's life itself is a creative action. Other people suggest we don't really create much by ourselves. I say that both are possibly necessary for me to feel alright being. -
I'm in a hurry:-) It's lunchtime;-) Edit: OK, go try now. It should let you admin it, mod it etc. If not, let me know.

Ok, I will go see for the Admin stuff. BRB

I can't find any PPF that could be from you with an old account. Do you want a PPF?
-
"Actually, i want my PPF to be a sub board in my original PPF XD are we allowed to do that??? :P" I think it's doable. Will be right back.

Change 'spirits' to 'vibe' or 'hunch' or 'I dunno, it just came to me' and you've got what I'm referring to. I think it's very likely that people may have experiences of apparitions and stuff. I reckon it depends on a person's ways of being.

"Some of this stuff used to be a moral thing for me...y'know, celibacy, drugs, food, spirituality..."this is wrong, that is wrong..." Heartily agree! These days it's more of a 'whatever works' (or doesn't). IME cultivation ramps up sensitivity to the point it's no longer fun when I try too much fun. I'll chalk that down also to getting older^_^. So where the 'morality' of this stuff comes from is sort of a mystery to me. -
I agree with Apech. I've been testing myself on the intuition front and it does seem to require a lot of discernment. There's a lot of 'mainstream' stuff talking about 'should you go with your gut' or about how intuition might 'really' work due to quantum fields and whatnot or whether it's a 'garbage in/garbage out' phenomena (the 'garbage' would refer to the filters someone adds on to whatever's the case). For me personally, it's not necessarily a benefit but I am exploring it 'because it's there'. Thankfully it's not visual either.

Right, so that would require me watching it again

No, I was thinking about one of the button-pushing characters. I'm pretty sure every season has a different one. OR, it could be a more ship-driving character. I guess it depends on how we want to go with the metaphor:-)

Oh very similar:-) I may have to change my name to something else accordingly.
