  1. do dragons exist?

I have 'met' a dragon in meditation/hypnogogic states. Hangs out in a cloud with claws barely showing. Definitely of a 'Chinese' type. I think it exists as much as I do, but not materially. In other words, it's not 'dense' enough to show up before me over there. Or maybe I'm too dense. I wonder...
  2. Internal Alchemy and Non-doing

---opinion alert--- I'm thinking that the act of alchemy 'forces' one to pay attention to one's current alchemical state. Forgetting no aspect of oneself, one allows the spaces to once again be filled with clear consciousness, letting that which one had stored away free itself to fuel development (some energy comes from transmuting the 'stuck' stuff that is held to be 'negative' through the act of conscious awareness applied). As practice deepens, one links up naturally with the rest of the felt universe. Right now I'm stuck with emptiness meditation. I suspect I'm both on to something and missing a lot. ----opinion alert---
  3. make up your own conspiracy theory.

I prefer the term 'alternative point of view/explanation' BTW there's as much BS in 'alternative points of view/explanations' as there is in the other stuff. ------------- The education system (sic) is contrived in a way that imposes linear thought processes. Through the splitting of disciplines into non-constituent parts (e.g. Math vs Biology) it guarantees slower intellectual progress and maintains status-quo benefitting the 'educators' for longer than is useful to all.
  4. make up your own conspiracy theory.

A new underground movement is silently making previous forms of government obsolete. Realizing that one's personal control is not under either cultural or scientific normative influences after all, people everywhere have figured out ways to counter the effects of their prior conditioning. You won't find them in groups or an organization of any kind.
  5. make up your own conspiracy theory.

    Stop giving them ideas!
  6. @Audiohealing No justification required on either of our parts, I think. The words that first came to me when reading your post were "Woah, that's f*cking sexist" I then corrected as a) public forum no wish to offend anyone. You like to call women 'bitches', I find that offensive. Simple. But if I've understood correctly, your reaction to my initial offense is to further insult my intelligence (about the awful world or something) and then cover yourself in justifications. If you would really like to understand why I find 'bitches' offensive then we can discuss. But probably going to end up in the pit. I'd like to know why you feel compelled to refer to women as 'bitches'. I'm actually interested. @Scotty, thanks for stepping up :-)
  7. Yep, that would be me. Your words, I find them offensive.
  8. Woah Audio Dude that was very very very sexist.
  9. Not needing to eat

I don't think that the bog-standard 3 meals a day is necessary. I think it conditions a person into certain ways. I've found if I eat too much at one moment, I'll naturally not want to eat, or eat very little another time. And other times I'll be eating like a horse. I don't think my practice has changed this. I've 'always' eaten this way. Same goes for meat/no meat and 'runs' of wanting to eat very specific things. I've been looking into the 5E stuff to see if I'm 'naturally' eating that way. No firm conclusions yet.
  10. Spiritual Bypassing

I did not expect such a response. I didn't mean to offend. I was pondering all leaders, not just Ghandi.
  11. Spiritual Bypassing

Sure, but I don't think we can separate the two. In fact I know it's pretty hard to do, personally. And, of course, think about the implications of having underdeveloped leaders in the world. Or leaders that dabble in things. To what extent does that 'overflow'?
  12. Connecting with Qi: No System Required

I think there's as much 'good' energy on this forum as there is 'bad'. Thanks for the support Hundun, I was having a 'moment' there
  13. I wanted to second the 'I thought I knew' idea. Conclusion is nope, not at all.
  14. Interesting Cat. You have mentioned a couple of books recently that sound very interesting. The other one was about Daemon? A while back I made a sort of a connection about Daemon/genius/creativity and sublimated 'sex energy' (downside being if it's not channeled into action then it can drive people batty). Anything in that book about it? Thanks!
  15. Connecting with Qi: No System Required

I think, I know that I have access to all of this. I think, I know it is neither easy nor not easy. I think, I know, that 'shakti' is as much of a 'destroyer' as 'love towards'. I think i've felt it. It's what I'd call 'better than sex' (to hear it described as 'better than love' was also a moment) My present capacity for surrender is limited, but she knows that and I feel her patience with me. ---opinion alert ---
  16. 4. People who advance modern science/arts through qi-gong ;-)
  17. What is Wu Wei?

Mountain as mountain sees itself, not how you see her (sorry for choice of personal pronoun, just came up:-))
  18. The Characteristics of the Sage

I've been reading the characteristics as referring to the sage himself. 'first' would be my reactivity. 'last' would be thinking about my actions. 'Good' would be what I strive for. 'Bad' away from. The details aren't mentioned as good and bad are relative to each other in any given situation.
  19. Connecting with Qi: No System Required

What you read in that book kind of lines up with my personal experience so far. ---2 cts--- Also relative to 'many things to mean the same thing' - paths of resistence, release, flow, intent, technique... If you are smiling, what made you? If you smile, are you now happy? What resonates with your smile? What does it bring to heart, mind and body? What will stop you smiling, right there? I think one of the biggest things for me in qi-gong is learning to breathe. Another is to 'let pass'. Another is not to mistake all thoughts for reality but realise when they're real and why. ----opinion alert---

  21. Interesting! Thanks for the info. Libel could be an issue. Still, I'm interested enough in the stuff. Would be good to get feedback from actual practitioners. When it comes to religion and consciousness, 'truth' is IMO much of a muchness:-)
  22. Spiritual Bypassing

I think it's good. And I think it's very easy to stick a thin veil of "heroism" over the top of a perfectionist drive intended to mask personal pain and self-loathing (or any other very strong tendency). I'd say, look at what becomes of some teachers once they get hold of the resources associated with it (people, power, 'foundations', money) and you have an answer as to how much bypassing is going on there. ----opinion alert---
  23. Time to plug Damo Mitchell's book again:-) He makes some good arguments for using LDT to drive MCO rather than pushing through channels with Yi. Also interesting - mentions that acupuncture needles are used to access meridiens but that the next step is the practitioner using their Yi to direct qi in the patient. First time I've read that but I was pondering the idea of needles as little antennae... If we're referring to the ren/du waterwheel then I suspect it's as good a Yi training wheel as any. Anyone recall how hard it is to do even one round the 1st time?
