Thanks, it sounds like you had a great experience. There definitely is a lot to be had. Did you check with Santi to see if he woke up at 3 am and then gave you shakti until 9 am? He sure seems like a great guy, but I'm sorry, I don't believe it. Like, why would he wake up then and spend 6 straight hours sending shakti to you, a complete stranger? It's stories like this that make me think there are a lot of inflated claims all around KAP. Sure, it's great, Santi's giving, but come on... I'd like to think that he has a more full life than that, especially since you weren't in a crisis or on your deathbed or anything....

Wait!! That, right there! Let's discuss that. I have long wondered about Martial Artists "healing" people with the same energy that they use to hurt (maim, kill) them with. This is probably worth a topic of it's own. I have had the privilege to meet, be treated by and work work with several very top (non-martial artist) healers. Their spiritual presence is incredible.I have also done the same with several absolute top internal martial artists who also do healing. The difference (to me) was profound in both quality and effectiveness. I can't say absolutely, but I believe that advanced Western martial artists do generally have the capacity to affect energy for martial purposes, but it becomes distorted when they use that energy to heal. I believe the healings they do are incomplete and not long lasting. There are some exceptions, generally when they leave the martial aspects far behind and focus on the love and divine energy for true healing. Anyone else have anything to add?

OK OK, you win. From the look of the pulsating, bulging artery on your temple, I wouldn't want you to pop an aneurysm. Nothing's melting anywhere. Everything's good, we should have lots of babies and drive more cars. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to cash in some carbon credits and run down to Whole Foods and get me a wheatgrass shot and a pack of clove cigs and go sit in the park and exchange energy with some Sycamores I know.

He he, 'secret sauce'... but a question. Can this qigong be learned with the 'sauce' from his source materials (dvd, or whatever), or does one need direct contact with Sifu Dunn to 'activate' it like you have?

Thanks, Peppy. Who is Barbfeick (Barbara F. Gregory of Columbus, Ohio), and why should I care about her graphs? Where is the Smallpox graph on that page, by the way? Didn't fit your theory, I guess...it's only 300-500 million deaths in the 20th century anyway, no biggie...You actually ought to start a topic on this yourself and quit hijacking this thread, but I won't be joining you, I don't do Wingnut debate. Good decision on the attempted kick in the nuts, I would have had to pick your teeth out of your tonsils with the shiny old fashioned medical forceps my old country doctor left me when he passed on...

Now that there's no need for you to have health insurance, you should be able to pay that back fast and start pocketing some coin soon...congratulations!

Does anyone have an answer for Von Sykkelpump? I'd like to know, too.

Guru Santiago, You seem like an angry dude. I wouldn't want any of your 'shaktipat'. I didn't realize having your Kundalini awakened made you angry at internet people.

Thanks, KAPReview, for the input. It felt like you were speaking your truth and weren't trying to do anything but give your experience and honest opinion. I thought the responses from those who were threatened by your post spoke more than they knew. I don't know Santi, but I have suspected that he would not be a good teacher for me, even though his abilities and attainments are formidable. From his posts here he seems rather coarse or crass compared to Tao (whom I have interacted with) who seems to be a more refined and conscious human being, but those are just my probably not very accurate impressions.

Sand shifts grain by grain grumbled the Sandman, I'd rather be the Tooth Fairy!

Reading over the reviews by users and techies, it looks like the emWave from HeartMath is a better anti-stress gadget. Some of the users on amazon.com compare the two in their reviews. I looked at that NeuroSky website and I can't what that thang is supposed to do.

You never made your point clearly, Mr Blastula. Good Day, Sir!!!

Wishful thinking, Joe. Sounds like DARWINISM to me. So, humans may not survive or will take an enormous hit, the planet will sort it all out for us. If we exceed the carrying capacity of the planet (assuming there is such a thing), then at some point as we approach carrying capacity, addition of a certain statistically significant number of the individuals tip the equilibrium beyond the carrying capacity and there is massive die-out as the "fishbowl" becomes polluted. Human population at this point follows a J-curve (exponential growth), although it may at some point it may shift to logistic (sigmoid) curve, which would mean humans curb population growth by intention, or attrition (die-off) if the carrying capacity of the earth has been attained. Here's a visual demonstration/proof of this:
