Where should a beginner to Tao start? Tai Chi or Qi Gong?

I like to start with expensive singles and progress to the cheaper blends because by the time you get to them you won't remember what they taste like This place is fun http://www.singlemalt.com.au/index.html -
You are just out of practice Steve, nice to see you around again.

Did you enjoy Wizard? I eventually unearthed my copy, it was a good as I remembered. A book of choices

All good. Post away as I'm sort of eager The woodcutter reminded me about something I read about "levels" of religion once. Depending or your merit (or intelligence (?)) some people are only interested in material things, others can follow another's teachings by reciting prayers or rituals and a few people can aim for a higher understanding. I found the Patriarch trying to find out monkeys surly name and about his parents rather amusing and I'm sure others will chip in on the journey

My Dad has recently tried hyaluronic acid injections He ticks all the boxes, trying to delay knee replacement surgery and he gets stomach ulcers from anti-inflammatorys. He had his knee cartlidge removed in an operation in the 60's when he injured his knee badly falling from a wall at work (Although that operation prevented him from having to go to Vietnam so you never know how blessing are wrapped) But also read this one may not work He is only a few weeks in so no results either way so far. I'm hoping it will give him enough mobility to be able to lean Tai Chi (that has been a 3 year project) as he can not stand for long enough these days. Personally I think Chi Gongs would help, I'm hoping they help my knees But you need to practice them and perhaps use as a preventative rather than a cure. Which is why I started doing them while I am still young(ish) and healthy. I'm a big fan of fish oil too. -
When you indulge so much you feel sated, control is easy When you do want more and repress, control is hard. If she feels the same, perhaps phone sex? Distance need not be a barrier

Weird isn't it. I see that a lot here when people get into any practice that clicks for them. Change is good.

ROFL exactly. You are not interested, be polite, but pursue other options. If she won't let go and things start to get worse and the gym no longer feels "good" just go somewhere else. It's like being at a pub, if it's got a bad vibe just go elsewhere to have fun or you will get stuck in a fight you don't want. Hot women are everywhere you look, perhaps you can refine your jing together p.s. Sounds like SereneBlue is considering becoming a gymbunny for enouch

Or just do it another way because Exactly That one works for me, YMMV

I started learning Tai Chi in high school, our art teacher actually took the entire school through it at morning assembly for a while. I kept trying to learn various forms but it wasn't till I found my present Sifu in my 30's that it started to "click" for me. Qi Gong was a similar path, but not as long. Started looking for forms of Qi Gong to practice daily and have only recently started seeing results thanks to Santi's teachings. So for me it was a process of learning both, with Tai Chi being my initial introduction. I'm currently doing Qi Gongs in the morning and Tai Chi at lunchtime and later in the day if there is time around Kung Fu practice. -
How can you tell the difference between chi flow and a pinched nerve?

I feel the same. Girls do seem to progress faster in this stuff, perhaps they are just more in tune with there own body -
