  1. How to properly thank a person

I recon we played well too. Thanks
  2. How to properly thank a person

Cool, my miss read then. Possibly due to me reading the "other" thread and then this one. I read you 1st post as (to use my pray example) This is the only way to Pray and if you do it differently you are wrong. If you re read my reply it basically said. Do whatever you "feel" is the right thing. The joys of the net discussions
  3. Formatting help

If I get everything correct it quotes as above, that one is quote name='karen' post='108383' date='Mar 6 2009, 04:21 AM' if I mess up one element, or just try to write a name eg quote name='karen' I get If I re-edit my post it will change and the leading square bracket "quote name='karen'" will now just be "quote" The only way I've ever been able to put in all the details is to use the '+ quote' or ' "reply' button. If I want to multi quote I '+ quote' all the posts I want. Hit reply and cut and past the text box into word and play with it. then past it back to the browser and post. I see people are also changing text size now which is fun Oh if I miss one "quote /quote" pair i.e the start and finish of the quote the whole post will look weird, not just that missed "quote /quote" paragraph
  4. How to properly thank a person

"what to do and what not to do when thanking someone" Do anything that comes from the heart. So thank you for causing me to ponder this.
  5. Hi from IronmanII

  6. intro

  7. This is a pushup!

I can't even do that in my sleep! sweet pushup Dude that wasn't a knife it was a Chainsaw !!! (anyone else remember reading that MAD comic after Croc Dundee came out?) Also anybody else think that Junior has "unusual" proportions. Obviously he would have huge upper body strength and the fashion and clip perhaps makes it hard to see clearly. But first impression was stocky, all arms and legs, no torso. The "challengers" look like bean polls in comparison.
  8. You know what would be cool

Things move slowly here, I guess many have full lives and are busy doing other activities. Time zones could be an issue as usual. Also I sound stupid enough when I have time to sit back an compose my thoughts. Live would be much worse However Skype is definitely impressive & it would be nice to talk and hear everyone's voice, or just multi text chat. Group calls with more than one person with a mic on seems too much for skype currently, perhaps we could say "over" like the old days !!! I think you would need one person to drive it, then it it could work. I'll nominate Michal since I remember you posting a few requests to chat. Or perhaps Sean since he encouraged me to do the Mastering the Core Teachings of the Buddha thread but no posts from him IN the discussion yet
  9. tooth regeneration

Blotting Technique Instructions Interestingly I was taught to brush my teeth in an up and down motion, or a swirl, rather than just side to side
  10. Dragons, Pearls, & Phoenixes

and then bend bow to shoot tiger. Mmmmmm
  11. Good Beginers Qigong?

Lifting the Sky, also Looking at the Moon from the same book, are great Chi Gungs. Like the book said practice just 10 reps EVERYDAY for 3 months and you will get NOTICEABLE results I have 4 chi gungs that I do every morning for 20 min (I learnt them in KAP.) Also my Sifu (Kung Fu) is not a big fan of seated meditations and personally prefers moving ones, his preference being Tai Chi. Personally I find moving meditation a nice complement / balance to static meditation (i.e. seated / standing / lying) Most importantly. Smile and have fun doing your Chi Gungs
