JK, I understand that you have a view on what kundalini is and how it works. Good for you, I wish I did. However if you want to equate the questions of others as "Total and Absolute Ignorance" their discussions as nothing better than "working to take time from the lives of others which is one of the definitions of murder" or fools attempting to excuse laziness as well as the false point with unsubstantiated claims [paraphrase] Perhaps you need some time to work on understanding the purpose of a "discussion board" or at least re read the insult policy. See you in a few days -mod squad-

No it's good Attempting to explain a practice gives one an opportunity to discover their own depth of understanding. Differences in Male / Female practices is certainly something I'm aware of and very interested in. But my understanding is not deep enough for me to offer concrete answers. e.g. I know some KAP 2 practices for women that focus on the heart area while men focus on the LDT. I know the explanation but I don't understand the why well enough to have a go at my own explanation I'll admit that being brought up with the concept sexual equality left me thinking that women and men were exactly the same. However experience has lead me to discover that's incorrect. Differences certainly exist and thats a good thing. Yet culturally the "power" of women is often subtly (or overtly) labeled negatively, compared and contrasted then "scored" as second best. Rather sad really...... (and incorrect)

Yes. eg I've noticed Yiquan practitioners seem to employ a different training method for standing (as illustrated in this thread) Nothing wrong with different paths, especially as people tend to have different destinations -

I know a person who teaches Dr. Paul Lam's Tai Chi for Arthritis, it only took her 18mts to start teaching. The teaching certification process is a 2 day workshop, in fairness they do expect some previous experience and require 2 year refresher courses. Since I had to look this info up, I found there is an instructor workshop in a few weeks here, cost is $420. Back to Taoist Tai Chi and they require a one off $30 rego fee then yearly ($400) 6 month ($200) or monthly ($40) membership. In Townsville they offer 4 beginner class timeslots and 4 continuing class timeslots weekly. (And we were feeling bad increasing our Tai Chi class fee from $5 to $6 a class )

Guess they why they say that in the instructions! Sorry & I should laugh at myself too as I often do stuff and then realize "Oh. So that's why they say not to do that" Lesson learned and that's why most people have huge problems with retention. Along with L1's article check out http://www.alchemicaltaoism.com/ and this thread whistle blowing on breathing in the genitals

Yet the correct bandage will actually speed healing Particularly some of the more modern bandages that we use these days. Very good stuff but they are expensive little things so sometimes just good old fashioned methods help too.

I don't mind Yerba Mate but it's more of a coffee like taste IMHO and tends to make me a bit too "hyper" I use to drink a blend in the morning and wonder why I would rush about trying to get everything done as fast as possible to move on to the next thing at work. Probably good for work and a nice energy boost, but I like to be a bit more relaxed.
