  1. Hello! Atheist, Skeptic & Open Minded Here:)

What you said sounds to me like an abstract, phyilisophical way to try your best to accept the enevitable. Most people seem to just rely on faith when it comes to death. They don't look info the fact that there way be something else that happens that just non-existence or "heaven". Faith won't change reality though. You can believe that you'll become completely non-existent or go to heaven after death all you want, but it doesn't make it true. I personally am not willing to simply "accept and have faith". Maybe everyone else is though. *shrugs*
  2. Fear of death leads to an early death

In this aspect of life I think that fear is a healthy thing. For the same reason that you should he afraid of deep water as a baby, you should also be afraid of death. That is... unless you've developed yourself and learned to swim.
  3. Hello! Atheist, Skeptic & Open Minded Here:)

Good. The majority of people interested in energetic development are trying to be someone from starwars, or most commonly, some idiot from Dragon Ball Z. Half the people I talk to are trying to become Goku and have amazing DBZ powerz.

So you're perfectly satisfied with being endlessly recycled throughout the rest of eternity? You feel no need to fight for your survival?
  5. Hello! Atheist, Skeptic & Open Minded Here:)

Use whatever word you want. I don't really think that "chi" is a good word either due to the "magical" conitation it has. I'm too lazy to think of a better term though so I just stick with Qi/chi. I would rather practice something that produces results than sit around all day doing taiji and achieving nothing worthwhile. Yep. That's problem with most "Qi" stuff. It produces nothing but delusion and/or uselessness. Mo Pai is a rare exception. It produces real, demonstratablr results. Yes your body does have everything you need. This includes a biological spirit that can be developed and advanced. If you aren't advancing your spirit then you aren't getting anywhere spiritually (hate using that word too).

Scientific Evidence For Qi Energy & Real Abilities
  7. I'll be honest. I'm pretty much fed up with responding to some of you. Every time I come back to check this thread there are 4 or 5 new posts to reply to. That said I'm going to stop posting on this thread for the mos part. Maybe a post here and there if I really feel the urge to reply. Other than that I'm just really wasting my time. I've been becoming quite busy lately with work and several other things.
  8. I wouldn't disrepect my master. That is completely different from random, level zero, dabblers who think they are expedienced masters but in reality have nothing worthwhile to offer.
  9. Mo Pai Level One could be completed theoretically in 3 days. However this would require 3 straight days of non-stop, unbroken, focussed concentration on the LDT during deep trance meditation. For a beginner this just isn't possible. Level one can take as long as 10+ years if you do only an hour per day and don't master deep meditation.
  10. I am probably above Max's level considering the fact that he is level 0.0. I don't know what equivelant level of MP that Chunyi Lin is at but based on what I've seen and heard I would guess somewhere around level 2.
  11. You are experienced at dabbling but that's about it. From what I've seen you have no experience with real, dedicated, hardcore, meaningful training though. Also I never said that Chunyi Lin wasn't good at meditation. He is probably a master at it. But again, that doesn't mean that he has a high level of energetic development and that his system leads there. Why? Because the most he has demonstrated is healing. He can't demonstrate high level abilities so there is no reason for me to assume that he does.
  12. You judge a master's ability by what they can demonstrate. If I go looking for a weight lifting trainer, I'm going to be looking for a buff guy that can life a lot of weight. That way I can see the results of the training he does. I'm just going to laugh if a skinny guy benching 120lbs comes up to me saying he'll train for $50 a session though. I have nothing to gain from him.
  13. If I had a master I would show him complete respect. I do not however respect inexperienced, level zero, dabblers that think they are masters. Give me one good reason why I should value and respect anything you say...
  14. Where exactly did I self-claim mastery of neigong/meditation/whatever?
  15. Fasting does develop the spirit. Meditation in a cave without certain techniques and concentration is just meditation and isn't developing the spirit. Chunyi Lin may practice everyday but he has probably reached the highest level of his system. I could always be wrong. Chunyi Lin may be some high level immortal with secret knowledge of neigong that mascarades as a low level qigong teacher, but unless he demonstrates such then how am I to know? All I have to by is what he has demonstrated. Based on what he has demonstrated he is a low level qigong master. He may also be a master of medutation but if he doesn't train with proper neigong techniques then he isn't getting anywhere in terms of high level spiritual development.
  16. In comparison to John Chang I'd say that Chunyi Lin is near my level. Even if that means that he is quivelant to a Mo Pai level 1. In comparison to an immortal he is still near the level of people that have completely undeveloped spirits.
  17. Most are blantly obvious (e.g. Max). Some are borderline but even if they are alightly above my level, it doesn't mean much unless they can demonstrate extremely high level abilities. otherwise their systems probably don't lead anywhere meaningful. Chunyi Lin is a good example. I believe he is an honest and real individual but he isn't very far above my level based on his demonstrations. I am looking for a master that has something REAL and POWERFUL to teach. Something that will take me to a whole new level of being and allow me to break free from death and rebirth.
  18. But that's just it. I'm not a master. The problem is that people at my level are claiming to be masters. They are either lying and pretending to have power or they are deluding themselves into thinking that they have power.
  19. Better to have no master than a deluded, make-believe, ignorant, level zero master.
  20. Seriously. Whatever x1000. All you are doing is making irrational points to try your best to pick useless fun. You have no clue what you are talking about. Keep on with your "false methods of minor schools" as Zhongli Quan would say.
  21. "he had attracted the attention of Jim's family online who had been deeply hurt about what he has said regarding Jim and others" How do you know this exactly? "The groups splitting off to form ridicilous children forums learning off and relying on Jim's old text- rubbish." Jim's instructions + Kosta's notes "ended up copying Micah Shifu Lin in terms of behaviour." How??? "These very young immature people need to be slapped." And what should be done to the person that charged $1,500 for fake Mo Pai manuals?
  22. Anyone into strength training?

I suppose that if you define "spiritual development" as having to do with the character then that would be true. I tend to think of spiritual development having more to do with the physical growth of the spirit via energy cultivation.
