  1. Better than a book- get a dog. Dogs are good teachers - and provide a wealth of knowledge dealing with love, emotional support, etc Dogs don't say the right or wrong thing- they just silently send out that "love beam' - Just my opinion

  14. Happy WereWolf Day

Valentine's Day- also known as: Lupercus God of wolves, significant to Romans in that the mythological founders of the Roman Nation (Romulus and Remus) were suckled by a she-wolf in infancy. Active Links, Here: http://thetaobums.com/topic/33588-today-imbolc/#entry519826 Lupercalia was a very ancient, possibly pre-Roman[2] pastoral festival, observed on February 13 through 15 to avert evil spirits and purify the city, releasing health and fertility. Lupercalia subsumed Februa, an earlier-origin spring cleansing ritual held on the same date, which gives the month of February (Februarius) its name. Lupercalia most likely derives from lupus, "wolf," though both the etymology and its significance are obscure[1](bronze wolf's head, 1st century AD) The name Lupercalia was believed in antiquity to evince some connection with the Ancient Greek festival of the Arcadian Lykaia (from Ancient Greek: λύÎșÎżÏ‚ — lukos, "wolf", Latin lupus) and the worship of Lycaean Pan, assumed to be a Greek equivalent to Faunus, as instituted by Evander.[3] In Roman mythology, Lupercus is a god sometimes identified with the Roman god Faunus, who is the Roman equivalent of the Greek god Pan.[4] Lupercus is the god of shepherds. His festival, celebrated on the anniversary of the founding of his temple on February 15, was called the Lupercalia. His priests wore goatskins. The historian Justin mentions an image of "the Lycaean god, whom the Greeks call Pan and the Romans Lupercus,"[5] nude save for the girdle of goatskin, which stood in the Lupercal, the cave where Romulus and Remus were suckled by a she-wolf. There, on the Ides of February (in February the ides is the 13th), a goat and a dog were sacrificed, and salt mealcakes prepared by the Vestal Virgins were burnt. Plutarch described Lupercalia: Lupercalia, of which many write that it was anciently celebrated by shepherds, and has also some connection with the Arcadian Lycaea. At this time many of the noble youths and of the magistrates run up and down through the city naked, for sport and laughter striking those they meet with shaggy thongs. And many women of rank also purposely get in their way, and like children at school present their hands to be struck, believing that the pregnant will thus be helped in delivery, and the barren to pregnancy.[6] The Lupercalia festival was partly in honor of Lupa, the she-wolf who suckled the infant orphans, Romulus and Remus, the founders of Rome,[7] explaining the name of the festival, Lupercalia, or "Wolf Festival."
  15. Satanic Temple *UP-DATED*

OKLAHOMA CITY – A New York-based Satanist organization has offered to erect a public ‘homage to Satan’ near a Ten Commandments monument on the premises of the Oklahoma capitol building. The Satanic Temple issued a news release about the matter this week, outlining that they believe that it may resolve the dispute over the monument, which is currently the subject of a federal lawsuit. As previously reported, the monument at issue was proposed and paid for in 2009 by Republican Representative Mike Ritze, and was soon after approved by the largely Republican-run state legislature. “[T]he Ten Commandments are an important component of the foundation of the laws and legal system of the United States of America and of the State of Oklahoma,” the bill authorizing the monument acknowledged. “[T]he courts of the United States of America and of various states frequently cite the Ten Commandments in published decisions, and acknowledgements of the role played by the Ten Commandments in our nation’s heritage are common throughout America.” The six-foot display was erected last year, but the ACLU said that the monument was unconstitutional. “The monument’s placement at the Capitol has created a more divisive and hostile state for many Oklahomans,” stated Ryan Kiesel, the executive director of ACLU of Oklahoma, in a news release. “When the government literally puts one faith on a pedestal, it sends a strong message to Oklahomans of other faiths that they are less than equal.” This past August, the organization filed suit against the monument, with the lead plaintiff being minister Bruce Prescott, the director of Mainstream Oklahoma Baptists. Prescott said that mixing the sacred with the secular in such a manner cheapens the display, and asserted that it violated the Constitution’s Establishment Clause, which says that “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion
” “I am not opposed to monuments of the Ten Commandments that are placed on private property and/or on the grounds of religious institutions,” he wrote to the ACLU. “I am opposed to erecting Ten Commandments monuments on public property and particularly on the grounds of the state Capitol where people of different faiths and of no faith go to exercise their rights as citizens.” Now, the New-York based Satanic Temple says that it has offered to to donate a public monument to be placed near the Ten Commandments display in order to “appease the ACLU’s concerns.” It says that if Oklahoma’s Capitol Preservation Commission grants the request, they will then seek public input for the text and design on the proposed “homage to Satan.” “By accepting our offer, the good people of Oklahoma City will have the opportunity to show that they espouse the basic freedoms spelled out in the Constitution. We imagine that the ACLU would also embrace such a response,” stated spokesperson Lucien Greaves. “Allowing us to donate a monument would show that the Oklahoma City Council does not discriminate, and both the religious and non-religious should be happy with such an outcome. Our mission is to bring people together by finding common sentiments that create solutions that everyone can appreciate and enjoy.” However, as previously reported, the Liberty Institute, a Christian legal organization in Plano, Texas, is working alongside Oklahoma Attorney General Scott Pruitt to defend the Ten Commandments display as being lawful—all by itself. “The ACLU and others have made it their mission to eliminate any trace of religion from public view,” the organization remarked. “Legislative prayer, city-sponsored senior wellness centers,
sacred veterans memorials–nothing and no one is safe from their attacks. However, Liberty Institute is fighting back.” http://christiannews.net/2013/12/06/satanic-temple-seeks-to-place-homage-to-satan-near-ten-commandments-monument/
  16. I had a semi-violent Kundalini awakening almost 3 decades ago. I do magick, trance work, various qi gong, nei gong and other energy work in full lotus, few hours daily. I commune with some "passed-over" teachers, and have learned a lot of energy techniques from them When I read in these new nei gong books, DVDs. etc it is old stuff I have been doing for years. Not sure if some of these advanced techniques will just come into one's awareness innately, after doing energy work Consistently- for decades. So, last night, I tried something I was "shown" awhile ago. In full lotus, after doing my preliminary work of tan tien ignition(s): I channel from a sphere of energy from deep down into the earth. I can sense it as a black crystalline structure. I can feel my root swelling and throbbing. Oddly, the Yin was so intense, I literally felt locked into the earth but also felt as if I was levitating. Another brilliant sphere/globe of energy above my crown: This sphere floods down through my crown and pours down through the central channel, literally drowning every channel as it reaches my lower tan tien. At the meeting point of the lower tan tien, the root feels as though it reaches up to the swelling lower tan tien. The lower tan tien spins forwards and up around towards the sacral area. Lower tan tien then feels as if it drops down lower towards root area. -feels like a drop/pull It pumps, literally pumps, like this area is a balloon, swelling and condensing. This is when it got out of control. (I am deliberately leaving out technical terms to avoid crossing over terminology from traditions- causes confusion and I am still a little spacey) The energy is shooting up into my lower tan tien, and pouring down into it at same time. It is spinning, relaying down and around and up to my spine. Once it pours upwards into the back of my skull, it shoots forward through the middle of my brain. There it feels like a cross of energy-perpendicular- from the pouring down and cutting across it- moving forward to my forehead and scalp area. As this is happening, the energy also moved upwards , along my front meridian, and also went up towards the scalp, via throat tongue sinus cavity forehead and crown. At this point, there was so much pulsing, I felt I was comatose. I am thinking to myself, that this should be lessening as I am aware of what is happening, and it should diminish the trance. It didn't, as it seemed like rote, or auto pilot. All 3 tan tiens were swollen, my stomach looked like a balloon. My heart was pounding. After maybe 45 minutes of this, I was able to just slow it down enough to get a handle on it. I circulated and grounded, and swept through and just focused on my lower tan tien. I ate something and went to sleep. Then my body started shaking, I was freezing. I could not stop shaking. The more I tried to stop the shaking, the more I shook uncontrollably. My legs, inner thighs, whole bdy- was shaking so hard, the whole bed was moving. I had the heat up to 80 degrees, and it wasn't actually cold, but my body INSIDE felt frozen. This shaking and what seemed like hallucination continued for approximately 4 hours. My wife, a few times, wanted to call an ambulance. It looked like total possession. This morning, my muscles felt like I endured a Triathalon, and like I stated earlier, still some what spacey. Other than that, I feel a glow, like I am floating.

  24. I do not want to continue Jim McMillan's legacy as far as Western MoPai goes. You just heard Tongkosong say Jim's stuff is Not Real MoPai. I am removing the mystery from western mo pai so people who are seeking will see those 2 levels and think to themselves "this is what caused all the commotion?" Most likely seekers will look it over, shake their head and move on. Should they want to inquire more- they can talk to me. Western MoPai is Dead bro. This Thread just gave it Closure and it's long due and proper burial I consider my choice in doing this a necessary good deed for seekers.
