  5. Elongated skulls of Paracas Peru

The conehead skulls of Peru have been dismissed as the result of 'binding,' but these are not bound skulls. In fact, they aren't even human skulls. They do not have the right bone structure to be human and they have far larger brain cases. In fact, the native practice of skull binding may have represented an effort to make themselves appear more like these creatures.

  8. cultivation paranoia

Fair enough. I know qi psychosis is real- and read many disclaimers, warnings etc about people who might suffer from mental disorders to avoid such practices. In good conscience, I won't tell the OP- "sure- go for it" if the OP's whole point of the thread is for others to give him permission to carry on. I always warn others- you CAN NOT TURN OFF KUNDALINI --etc
  9. The moment of a giraffe saying a special goodbye to a dying zoo worker is touching the hearts of viewers worldwide. As reported by The Independent, Mario, a zoo maintenance worker with terminal cancer, asked the Netherland’s Ambulance Wish Foundation for help visiting Rotterdam’s Diergaarde Blijdorp zoo, where he cleaned animal enclosures for nearly 25 years. The wish was granted, and what happened during the visit amazed everyone. The 54-year-old is confined to a bed, so the Ambulance Wish Foundation transported him to the zoo with a specially designed ambulance. He got wheeled around the zoo in his hospital bed, and upon entering the giraffe enclosure, one of the tall animals approached Mario, bent down and gave him a kiss. A photo of the moment has since gone viral on both Reddit and the Ambulance Wish Foundation’s Facebook page, where more 800 users shared the photo as of Friday morning. Others have taken to Twitter to comment on the moving image. http://www.today.com/pets/final-goodbye-dying-zoo-worker-gets-kiss-giraffe-2D79416546
  10. A final goodbye: Dying zoo worker gets a kiss from giraffe

http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/europe/giraffe-kisses-dying-zoo-worker-final-goodbye-9207114.html A 2007 study in the New England Journal of Medicine found one cat could identify people who were dying of a terminal illness at a nursing home. Oscar the cat appeared to ‘predict’ a patient's death by sitting next to their bed and keeping a vigil there until they died, which was usually a few hours later. If he was forced out of the patient's room he would become distressed and would continue to meow outside the door, researchers noted. Oscar presided over the death of 25 residents during his time at the home. His presence at the bedside of a patient became viewed by physicians and nursing home staff as an almost absolute indicator of impending death, allowing staff members to adequately notify families.

Is that "minor" In your case, I'm glad I missed "your point" Remember, you started the thread -asking us, basically if it is ok -for you to think that way.

I was also agreeing with you, Thamosh! That was NOT directed at you. I was further clarifying what I believe to be truth. If you noticed, I had already/previously "Liked" your post .
  16. Thoughts on Ukraine / Russia Debacle?!

IMO, I believe this is just the beginning of strategic chess moves by Putin. Just the beginning to test the waters and see how much he can get way with. I believe most of this stuff is scripted, according to a long term plan. I have seen some books from many years ago that charted this whole course with Russia Ukraine Crminea. Coincidence? Script? Or something else? Another book: I like to believe it will all blow over, as the next mess pops up- and this one fades away. I'm not so sure though

I believe that provocateurs are making deliberate attempts, to incite anger and disruption, with what appears to be intelligent banter.

  19. Dangers of acupunture?

The dangers are re-routing energy the "wrong way" -that is, natural to your own unique energy flow.
  20. Dangers of acupunture?

I have had many sessions done on me, and all worked great. I also perform it, on a very small scale. I wouldn't advise letting random people stick sharp metal objects in to you, however- because scenarios such as that usually do not end well
  21. cultivation paranoia

You may have some underlying mental or personality issues. Chi Gong is not recommended, as it can exacerbate it. It seems your "inner voice" is already warning you of this. Listen to it. Even your name "Thus-Gone" seems like a subconscious heads up.
  22. Practicing the Microcosmic Orbit

I could not, in good conscience, tell you to continue if you feel pain. Depending on where it is, I would consult a physician if it is around organs, heart, brain ,etc
