Thank you. I noticed in half lotus that the knees are level with the hips. Where as the knees are lower than the hips in full lotus. Full lotus IMO seems much more stable, and keeps the body aligned for a longer sitting

The Piriformis muscles, Glutes, Kua, lower back and spinal erector muscle groups all need to be stretched and open Even the Rhomboid muscles because the middle back will start to ache and cause slouching

I would advise applying the Yi @ the LDT until you can feel the sensation of warmth. Then the MCO will not be 'false' but an actual energetic circulation The major meridians become highly active. The Niwan then has a solid foundation so it doesn't get overstimulated by Yang, which causes this (sometimes) The Conception meridian allows Yin to balance the Yang Tiger and Dragon consummate each other then. If proper precautions and protocols are not maintained- the BaiHui stays open- the aura is not 'form fititng' around the head- thus the saying "out of their mind"

If this is truly the path for you- the "universe" (add whatever works for you) provides Synergy, coincidence, it all works together to provide If you are happy with little, and every bit is appreciated- it works I've lived that way for the last decade Full time + cultivator.
