Living in a concrete box with hot water pouring from the tap, a refrigerator cooling our food and wi-fi connecting us to the rest of the world, we can barely imagine a day in a life of, say, Tsaatan people. They move 5 to 10 times per year, building huts when the temperature is -40 and herding reindeer for transportation, clothing and food. âBefore They Pass Away,â a long-term project by photographer Jimmy Nelson, gives us the unique opportunity to discover more than 30 secluded and slowly vanishing tribes from all over the world. Spending 2 weeks in each tribe, Jimmy became acquainted with their time-honoured traditions, joined their rituals and captured it all in a very appealing way. His detailed photographs showcase unique jewellery, hairstyles and clothing, not to forget the surroundings and cultural elements most important to each tribe, like horses for Gauchos. According to Nelson, his mission was to assure that the world never forgets how things used to be: âMost importantly, I wanted to create an ambitious aesthetic photographic document that would stand the test of time. A body of work that would be an irreplaceable ethnographic record of a fast disappearing world.â All of his snapshots now lie in a massive book and will be extended by a film (you can see a short introduction video below). So embark on a journey to the most remote corners and meet the witnesses of a disappearing world. Would you give up your smartphone, internet and TV to live free like them? So was he a fake fighter? How? Why? He was high on drugs during his fights. How do you know other boxers weren't? Just because there are drug tests do not mean there are not ways to get around them. In MMA, at the higher pro levels and some/many amateurs use drugs of every sort. I can tell you this for a fact because I was heavily involved in that world a few years ago. If there is a lot of money involved, there will be drugs. Enhancers, steroids, narcotics, etc. This is not confined to just boxing, or mma either. Figure skaters, golf, bodybuilding/powerlifting, tennis, football, baseball, soccer, all of it is dirty, even bicycling as we seen from Lance Armstrong lately. Tyson was chemically enhanced, yes, but as far as saying he was not a real boxer is simply not true. Being high in the ring can perhaps give you an advantage over pain, perhaps enhance speed and cardio, but if a boxer has zero skill, drugs won't make him a champion. I know Tyson said "he was not a real fighter" - but in the context he was speaking he is looking down at himself. The opponents he fought were real fighters and were willing to stand in front of him to get hurt or get killed. That is real. We can also draw similarities to, music, acting, show biz, etc. Most of those entertainers are using drugs. To say they do not make/produce/perform music, videos, movies, etc. because they are high would be a false assumption.

MIT: Invents Shapeshifting 3-D Display- Reach Through And Touch
SonOfTheGods posted a topic in The Rabbit Hole
nFORM is a Dynamic Shape Display that can render 3D content physically, so users can interact with digital information in a tangible way. inFORM can also interact with the physical world around it, for example moving objects on the table's surface. Remote participants in a video conference can be displayed physically, allowing for a strong sense of presence and the ability to interact physically at a distance. inFORM is a step toward our vision of Radical Atoms: http://tangible.media.mit.edu/vision/ http://tangible.media.mit.edu/project... -
Apply this to your understanding of Qi Gong, Yin, etc: Levitating Foam Liquid Under the Spell of Magnetic Fields No better solution to studying ever-draining foams than applying a strong magnetic field to keep the liquid in the foam at a standstill by levitating its water molecules Understanding the characteristics of foam, May gives us the ability to levitate our bodies in the future. Its called Diamagnetism. Basically - a way to make the liquid in foam or the water molecules, float using the diamagnetism technique. Reverse polarity of water molecules in foam, And control it with magnetism Key: Our Bodies are over 90% water Foams fascinate, partly due to their short lifespan. Foams change as fluid drains out of their structure over time. It is precisely their ephemeral nature which has, until now, prevented scientists from experimentally probing their characteristic dynamics further. Instead, foams have often been studied theoretically. Now, Nathan Isert from the University of Konstanz, Germany and colleagues, have devised a method of keeping foams in shape using a magnet, which allows their dynamics to be investigated experimentally, as recently described in The European Physical Journal E. To find a way around the issue of drainage, the authors used the so-called diamagnetic levitation technique. This approach exploits the fact that water-which is one of the main components of foams-has a characteristic called diamagnetism. This means that water molecules can become magnetised in the opposite direction to an applied magnetic field. Hence, a strong magnetic field can be used to levitate the water in a foam within the bore of a magnet of 18 Tesla in strength. This prevents drainage and allows a very high level of liquid to be maintained in the foam. Isert and colleagues have used this approach to study the coarsening behaviour of foams with greatly varying liquid fractions. As a result, they experimentally verified the decades-old theoretical predictions for the growth in bubble size for dry as well as liquid foams. They found that for a liquid fraction of about 30%-which corresponds to a foam with bubbles which start to no longer touch-the gas exchange between bubbles and the corresponding growth laws changes. Next, they will study how the local microscopic dynamics influences the foam's global dynamics. This is of particular interest when the foam transitions from a liquid to a solid form. http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2013/11/131111091520.htm

Yes I do.

Muscle is 90%+ water, the human body is as you said, 60-75% water. Human levitation - maybe creating a suit, filled with foam, or something along them lines. Maybe the body itself, who knows? Once the science is there as the foundation, the building up towards the apex might include levitation.

I could add other insights to this, maybe ancient builders, etc., but I do not want to go into fringe and pseudo-science

I did not see this proposal on "The Office", so I thought it should be. Many misconceptions about Kundalini and many beginners jumping into QiGong because they think it is all the same. I have seen Kundalini on other forums, but it starts to get new agey, which is never good. Then of course there is the business side of it, which is also not good. So, Real Kundalini

In Magick, there are loose terms, such as invocation and evocation. Summoning internally and externally. Seeing this as linear, what are physical boundaries to a non-physical visiting consciousness? In Vodoun, Enochian and true Necronomicon work, these boundaries are blurred. In Enochian, there are no real working banishings (a real Enochian magickian knows this, an arm chair magickian, not so much) In some ceremonial ritual work, should you astral project, your body/temple is guarded by Sandalphon. In another school of thinking, not Qabalistic oriented, you never leave your body. Your consciousness just expands via remote viewing. Now if this is the case, invocation and evocation differences are a moot point. Basically, each individual's perception of reality will effect results. Prior to any working, make sure you understand fully what you believe. Some magickians working with the Goetia believe the Howlings to decanates and just might be hard wired into the brain. Others believe they are what they say they are. What do they say they are? Last but not least, here is a book recommendation: Inner Guide to Meditation By Edwin C. Steinbrecher

http://www.theepochtimes.com/n3/337315-10-things-kids-have-said-about-past-lives/?photo=3 Many children seem wise beyond their years or like âold souls,â but some have said things that truly seem to hearken back to previous lives. Parents have shared their stories via social media; many say their children have talked about tragic deaths followed by happier lives this time around. 1. When my son was 3, he told me that he really likes his new daddy, heâs really nice. My husband is his one and only daddy. I asked âWhy is that?â He replied: âMy old daddy was really mean. He stabbed me in the back and I died. But I really like my new daddy, heâd never do that to me.â 2. When I was a little girl, I lost [it] when I saw some guy at the grocery store. It was unusual, because I was generally quiet and well behaved. I never had to be taken out of somewhere for misbehaving, but we had to leave the store. When my mom asked what was wrong when we got in the car, I told her he took me away from my first mom and hid me under his floor and made me sleep for a long time until I woke up with my new mom. I then refused to sit in the seat of the car on the ride home, but insisted on cowering under the dash board so he couldnât take me again. It freaked her ⌠out, as she is definitely my biological mother, so obviously my âfirstâ mom. 3. Getting my 2-and-a-half-year-old daughter out of the bath one night, my wife and I were briefing her on how important it was she kept her privates clean. She casually replied: âOh, nobody âscroofsâ me there. They tried one night. They kicked the door in and tried, but I fought back. I died and now Iâm here.â She said this like it was nothing. 4. âBefore I was born here, I had a sister, right? Her and my other mom are so old now. They were OK when the car was on fire, but I sure wasnât!â He was maybe 5 or 6 years old. It was totally out of the blue. 5. When my little sister was younger, she used to walk around the house with a picture frame with a picture of my great grandpa in her hands crying and saying, âI miss you Harvey.â Harvey had died before even I was born. Other than this common occurrence, my mom told me that she would constantly say things that my great grandma Lucy would say. 6. When my little sister first started talking, she used to say some really disturbing things. She used to tell us about how her old family would put things inside of her and would make her cry, but her Daddy eventually burned her so much that she was able to find us, her new family. She spoke about things like that from the ages of almost 2 to 4. She was much too young to have ever been exposed to any content where children, or anyone else could [experience those things], so my family has always thought she held memories of a prior life. 7. Between the ages of 2 and 6, my son would tell me the same story of how he picked me to be his mother. He said something about being with a man in a suit and picking a mother that would help him accomplish his souls mission. ⌠We didnât discuss spirituality ⌠nor was he raised in any sort of religious environment. The way he described it was that it was similar to grocery shopping, that he was in a bright room with people who were lined up like dolls, and that he picked me. The man in the suit asked him if he was sure, he replied that he was, and then he was born. My son also had an early fascination with WWII era planes. He could identify them, their parts, what region they were used in, and the like. I still have no idea where he got that information. Iâm a science gal, his dad is a math guy. We have always called him âGrandpa,â because of his peaceful and gingerly demeanor. This kid seriously has an old soul. 8. My nephew when he first began really talking in sentences told my sister and her husband that he was âso happy he picked them.â And then went on to say that before he was a baby he was in a bright room and saw lots of people and he âpicked his Mom because she had a nice face.â 9. My older sister was born the year my Dadâs mom died. According to my dad, as soon as my sister was old enough to say the words, she said âI am your mother.â 10. According to my mom, when I was younger, I would tell her about how I had died in a fire a long time ago. I donât remember that, but one of my biggest fears is my house burning down. Just being around open fire scares me.

Underground City of Reptilians / Aliens Under Los Angeles Oct 25 , 2013 Below are two extracts from the LA Times of 29 January 1934 (from the days before we had so much censorship of news) in the first of which reporter Jean Bosquet details the incredible story of G. Warren Shufelt, a mining engineer, who had been told of the underground city and its treasures by a wise old Indian, had consequently located it via âradio X-rayâ and was currently sinking shafts into the ground to reach it. Scroll down to see the article with maps. The second extract explains the whereabouts of the putative underground city on the map, and provides the legends for a few photos showing Shufelt hard at work. LIZARD PEOPLEâS CATACOMB CITY HUNTED Engineer Sinks Shaft Under Fort Moore Hill to Find Maze of Tunnels and Priceless Treasures of Legendary Inhabitants LA Times, 29 Jan 1934 By Jean Bosquet Busy Los Angeles, although little realizing it in the hustle and bustle of modern existence, stands above a lost city of catacombs filled with incalculable treasure and imperishable records of a race of humans further advanced intellectually and scientifically than even the highest type of present day peoples, in the belief of G. Warren Shufelt, geophysical engineer now engaged in an attempt to wrest from the lost city deep in the earth below Fort Moore Hill the secrets of the Lizard People of legendary fame in the medicine lodges of the American Indian. So firmly does Shufelt and a little staff of assistants believe that a maze of catacombs and priceless golden tablets are to be found beneath downtown Los Angeles that the engineer and his aides have already driven a shaft 250 feet into the ground, the mouth of the shaft being on the old Banning property on North Hill street overlooking Sunset Boulevard, Spring street and North Broadway. LEGEND SUPPLIES CLEW Shufelt learned of the legend of the Lizard People after his radio X-ray had led him hither and yon, over an area extending from the Public Library on West Fifth street to the Southwest Museum, on Museum Drive, at the foot of Mt. Washington. âI knew I was over a pattern of tunnels,â the engineer explained yesterday, âand I had mapped out the course of the tunnels, the position of large rooms scattered along the tunnel route, as well as the position of deposits of gold, but I couldnât understand the meaning of it.â FIRE DESTROYS ALL According to the legend as imparted to Shufelt by Macklin, the radio X-ray has revealed the location of one of three lost cities on the Pacific Coast, the local one having been dug by the Lizzard People after the âgreat catastropheâ which occurred about 5000 years ago. This legendary catastrophe was in the form of a huge tongue of fire which âcame out of the Southwest, destroying all life in its path,â the path being âseveral hundred miles wide.â The city underground was dug as a means of escaping future fires. The lost city, dug with powerful chemicals by the Lizard People instead of pick and shovel, was drained into the ocean, where its tunnels began, according to the legend. The tide passing daily in and out of the lower tunnel portals and forcing air into the upper tunnels, provided ventilation and âcleansed and sanitized the lower tunnels,â the legend states. Large rooms in the domes of the hills above the city of labyrinths housed 1000 families âin the manner of tall buildingsâ and imperishable food supplies of the herb variety were stored in the catacombs to provide sustenance for the lizard folk for great lengths of time as the next fire swept over the earth. CITY LAID OUT LIKE LIZARD The Lizard People, the legend has it, regarded the lizard as the symbol of long life. Their city is laid out like a lizard, according to the legend, its tail to the southwest, far below Fifth and Hope streets, its head to the northeast, at Lookout and Marda streets. The cityâs key room is situated directly under South Broadway, near Second street, according to Shufelt and the legend. This key room is the directory to all parts of the city and to all record tablets, the legend states. All records were kept on gold tablets, four feet long and fourteen inches wide. On these tablets of gold, gold having been the symbol of life to the legendary Lizard People, will be found the recorded history of the Mayans on on one particular tablet, the southwest corner of which will be missing, is to be found the ârecord of the origin of the human race.â TABLETS PHOTOGRAPHED Shufelt stated he has taken âX-ray picturesâ of thirty-seven such tablets, three of which have their southwest corners cut off. âMy radio X-ray pictures of tunnels and rooms, which are sub-surface voids, and of gold pictures with perfect corners, sides and ends, are scientific proof of their existence,â Shufelt said. âHowever, the legendary story must remain speculative until unearthed by excavation.â The Lizard Peoplem according to Macklin, were of a much higher type intellectually than modern human beings. The intellectual accomplishments of their 9-year-old children were the equal of those of present day college graduates, he said. So greatly advanced scientifically were these people that, in addition to perfecting a chemical solution by which they bored underground without removing earth and rock, they also developed a cement far stronger and better than any in use in modern times with which they lined their tunnels and rooms. HILLS ENCLOSE CITY Macklin said legendary advice to American Indians was to seek the lost city in an area within a chain of hills forming âthe frog of a horseâs hoof.â The contour of hills surrounding this region forms such a design, substantiating Shufeltâs findings, he said. Shufeltâs radio device consists chiefly of a cylindrical glass case inside of which a plummet attached to a copper wire held by the engineer sways continually, pointing, he asserts, toward minerals or tunnels below the surface of the ground, and then revolves when over the mineral or swings in prolongation of the tunnel when above the excavation. He has used the instrument extensively in mining fields, he said. ââ DID STRANGE PEOPLE LIVE UNDER SITE OF LOS ANGELES 5000 YEARS AGO? An amazing labyrinth of underground passages and caverns hundreds of feet below the surface of Fort Moore Hill is revealed in maps â all rights to which have been reserved â prepared by G. Warren Shufelt, local mining engineer, who explains his topographical endeavors as being based on results obtained from a radio X-ray perfected by him. In this elaborate system of tunnels and rooms, according to a legend furnished Shufelt by an Indian authority, a tribe of human beings called the Lizard People, lived, 5000 years ago. The network of tunnels formed what Indians call the lost Lizard City, according to Shufelt and the legend. Gold tablets on which are written the origin of the human race and other priceless documents are to be found in the tunnels, according to the legend. Shufelt declares his radio X-ray has located the gold. The engineer has dug a shaft 250 feet deep on North Hill street, overlooking North Broadway, Sunset and Spring streets, and intends to dig to 1000 feet in an effort to strike the lost city. Upper right-hand corner inset is Times Staff Artist Ewingâs conception of the Lizard People at work. Lower left, upper inset shows Shufelt and crew at top of shaft, baling water out of their deep excavation. Lower left inset shows Shufelt operating his radio X-ray device.
