Full description of methods for the 4 stages of internal alchemy in book: Internal Alchemy for Everyone
Yae replied to Yae's topic in Daoist Discussion
I will share my own method for Xing-first cultivation. It's about as simple as breathing so I don't see much reason for caution for anyone considering trying it. I call it, "Doing the Microcosmit Orbit", wait for it, "While Standing Up". The two ingredients Fire and Wind as used in the Huimingjing for other purposes are used here. They are Intention and Breath. Start by circulating the MCO, while standing. On inhale, start from the base of the perineum and move your point of intention up the back of your body in a straight line to the top of your head. On exhale, move your point of intention from there in a straight line on the front of your body to the base of your perineum. Note: Make sure the tip of your tongue is at least touching your hard palate at the front of the roof of your mouth if not the entire roof of your mouth because that is where the energy moves to continue the orbit. This is one complete repetition. Continue doing this a few times and you should start to notice your body undulating a little as you go up and as you go down. This is the movement of yuanshen I guess. You have activated it. Then you may repeat a few times for a strong activation, then stop and relax in place. Allow the movements to arise. It will take control. The energy is intelligent. I don't really think there is any danger to yuan shen, yuan qi, or yuan jing being in your body. Wu Liu Pai has a method to close the process but I can't share it haha. And this is not their method. If you've done the MCO at all you've probably stimulated it before and not realized it. I really don't think it's bad. It probably disperses on its own left unchecked. The idea of this method I think is that the energy already knows what to do and it opens channels as needed and then theoretically sets the MCO in motion itself (moves the MCO considering what Taoist Texts said about it although I would like more supporting documentation), creating the alchemical pill and thereby starting the growth of the yang fetus? Although if that's true then after stage 2 the methods are identical. Let me know if you have questions about the method. I just noticed, I think the Ruyao jing zhujie (Mirror for Compounding the Medicine) might actually be about the xing-first method, not sure... That's how you look doing the spontaneous movements Commentary by Wang Jie on part 1 above: Magpie Bridge = Tongue on palate which connects the Ren Mai and Du Mai, the two channels composing the MCO In Heaven responds to stars = going up the back of the body the energy is inclined upwards Earth tides = going from the top of the head down, in the same way it is naturally drawn down the front like a magnet (this is explained in the commentary) -

But you didn't explain what sealed means. Why are you so bent on giving methods hierarchies? The only way it starts on its own would be through the xing-first method I think, whereas the method in this book would be the ming-first method. By mid-level or low-level methods, I don't know what else you could be referring to. And this method is already quite efficient considering you become an Earthly Immortal in 100 days if it's done correctly, if I'm not mistaken. Do you know of any books that discuss the Xing-first method? That would be very interesting. So far the spontaneous movement method is the only insight I have into that. It's actually extremely intuitive to activate... Also I'm not really asking your ego anything. I want textual or other valid support for your claims. That's normal for any serious student of the science of internal alchemy. -

Interesting I will have to think this over. But clearly this is the same as ending the leakage, and setting the Wheel of Dharma in motion. It is not preheaven that I'm circulating theoretically, it is yuanjing collected and fired using breath and intention, with the goal of cinverting it into yuanqi. I can feel it when I collect it and move it through. Although the one moving automatically I'm not 100% sure if it's the same or some postheaven manifestation. Anyway I have a question, about the 2nd stage (essence to qi), I am seeing contradictions in texts. Do you gather the yuanjing stolen when yang moved and then somehow seal it in the cauldron in the LDT, or just collect it and begin circulating it in the Ren Mai and Du Mai, and it will automatically go to the LDT when the process completes in 100 days? Do you know any Chinese, to be studying the texts? -

I still don't care about anything you're dramatically expounding, it has no substance. Taoism is a science and you have no grasp of it. -

I don't have an ego loser I'm just searching for truth. Looks like I don't need to be sorry and I pegged you correctly while making a statement to the general populace replying here. Try again if you want to attack me. Taking an apology as a chance for an attack 😂 hilarious -

Yet you respond with a grammatically coherent sentence, contradicting yourself. And are alive, following the logical necessities of survival such as food and oxygen. Next. -

Are you having fun with your little dramatic telling-off of the OP and assuming you said something of substance while your little clique applauds? Being able to infinitely divide into additional yang spirits is not what I consider impotency. I guess you don't understand the basics of internal alchemy, not my problem 😂 I'm not here to hold your little hand through all of the studying I did, read the damn books yourself and learn 😂 -

What does the MCO do exactly by activating? To my understanding you are just manually circulating yuanjing through it to heat it up until it automatically moves into the LDT and combines with spirit to create the pill, and the MCO Ren Mai/Du Mai are just the two key channels in the body that facilitate proper Qi flow and are also used in the transmutation. But I think the MCO working correctly would just be the ideal movement of postheaven qi in the body. But in the process you are doing it intentionally anyway so the MCO doesn't have to move the yuanjing for you. Although while practicing this I may have had an experience where it circulated on its own for some minutes Anyway about spontaneous movement, it's pretty crazy I have done it, I can't share the WLP method but, I feel like yuanqi is an intelligent energy so the theory is to awaken it in the body with the method then let it run wild to open your channels, including the Ren Mai and Du Mai MCO. And violently throwing you around the room in the process. But theoritically I think that would be contained to stage one, which according to some is necessary to start stage 2, which I think is debatable. -

This is how you become free from rebirth obviously. As if there is some other mechanism you know about. I cited my source, you are saying Liu Huayang is wrong. Can't be as toxic as you want without tripping over yourself. You think if you be a good boy for your whole life your daddy in the sky will let you ascend when you die, "Just trust me until you die, what do you have to lose?". And you think my method is nonsense 😂 So every creature on the planet is evil and wasn't allowed to ascend, alright 😂 What a half-assed incohesive sense of spirituality. It's almost disrespectful to the concept of spirituality. -

Buddha's first sermon at Deer park to his first 5 disciples shortly after his enlightenment was about the Wheel of Dharma and precepts like celibacy and proper nutrition to achieve it, and the "cessation of suffering". This actually was probably the same as the ending of leakage. At the end, one of his disciples appears to have experienced the bright light that appears at the successful ending of the leakage/cessation of suffering: Again like I showed in the previous diagram, the Wheel of Dharma appears to be the same as the MCO. The Huimingjing has many quotes from Buddhist texts about this. -

Were you seriously trying to explain something just now or not? So your comment is hypocritical. Next. A cow sincerely likes to eat grass, doesn't solve the world's problems. Good intentions need to be balanced by logical action, which you are not doing with your ungrounded philosophizing. I can do both. -

If someone tells the interrupting cow joke, Knock knock Who's there Interrupting cow Interrupting cow wh- Moo! And you respond seriously saying they are not a cow, you are the stupid one. In the same way, if you respond jokingly when someone is serious, it may be a fun break but you have said nothing of substance. If you want to contribute in this discussion you will have to meet my seriousness and test whether you can dismantle my logic that I have continuously laid out. -

I met the leaders of Taoism. I practiced with a true school for 9 years. This is the basis for my disillusionment. I would have to search hard to find a master who is pure of heart and possesses the correct teachings, and it may not even be necessary. -

Liu Huayang You all's boundless negativity just proves your wrongness. Things are not black and white. Even the entirety of the classic texts can't avoid your rebuke. Your words are all completely devoid of substance, I have no trouble wading through them to continue on my way. -

Newflash, lineages are fertile ground for corruption like with any hierarchy. And you're still a toxic joke. I shouldn't have to defend myself from the careless garbage spewed in here by the random populace. We communciate here entirely with words and suddenly everyone says they are wholly inadequate without exception and qi only works if an old man spoon feeds it to them 😂 -

It has been stated openly by Wu Liu Pai that they do not require celibacy, except for a 100 day period. This is the same amount of time needed for the 2nd stage of Internal Alchemy. So in all likelihood I have confirmed that the method of stealing and reversing yang is the same in that school, especially considering it is clearly explained in their key text the Hui Ming Jing. You can see the first phase is in the genital, when yang moves. Note, the Hui Ming Jing clarifies that the Dharma Wheel in Buddhism is identical to the MCO. Liu Huayang also states key Buddhist texts that he considers true teachings. He was originally a Buddhist practitioner. I'm still trying to understand the Buddhist lens on Internal Alchemy and much moreso that of Christianity and Hinduism, but I think it is possible.
