Hello, I saw one post about this book somewhere but I wanted to lay out my current understanding of the methods because it seems freaking insane. 1. Laying the Foundation 100 day retreat to awaken correct ideal postheaven qi flow followed by 15-30min daily to keep results. Method is 2h meditation 3x per day, one session on LDT, one on MDT, one on UDT. The 15-30 min upkeep is only on LDT. Literally just sitting and focusing on it, breathing into it to gather qi. Umm I don't know if this stage is really even necessary because I feel like the second stage is already gathering Qi and opening channels and it's not like your Ren Mai and Du Mai are so blocked that you can't achieve basic energy movement... 2. Essence to Qi This is the 100 days of celibacy. The thing is, once it's complete, your genitals retract and you become basically sexless. The reason for celibacy is, the essence is an energy directly tied to the physical seed. [There is also a female method I quoted in the first comment below] The (male) method is, when yang moves (you get an erection), "steal" it (as the Huimingjing says), or "capture the vermillion crow in the net as it tries to fly away" as the Cantong Qi says. Then you use martial fire and intention to put it in the ldt cauldron (The Cantong Qi is quite descriptive noting how the crow is being boiled alive in the cauldron). Then you circulate the microcosmic orbit, inhale up the back channel, exhale down, 360 times, along with intention, to heat the essence and transmute it to qi. Actually the book doesn't say 1 inhale up 1 exhale down, it says you circulate it gradually each time with multiple breaths up and down, pushing the energy. I have just been cross referencing different texts and trying to understand it. It also says the fire (breath) should be "martial" at the beginning and end (starting from near the perineum and up the back, and ending at the top of the head), and "civil"/gentle in the middle (while traversing the spine). Special note. You are not working with the actual sexual fluids. When you get an erection, the kidneys release yuan jing that leaves along with the sexual fluid, going to the supposed baby being made. This is what you are "stealing" to transmute it into yuanqi and fill the body with it over 100 days. You do this for 100 days while celibate to establish a strong great ingredient or whatever. Once it's complete, there is a bright flash of light somewhere in your upper body as the qi unites with a small amount of spirit in the LDT to create the great ingredient or whatever, so you know you succeeded. This is when your genitals retract and you have basically "ended the leakage". Honestly, according to the book that seems to be the most difficult part technicality wise. Because as the book says, the body has an internal mechanism for internal alchemy so the rest of the way I think you are basically just fueling the fire to nurture the yang fetus and blocking a couple holes and riding it out. 3. The next stage is 10 months, you basically meditate on the ldt until the pill/yang fetus starts to migrate to your mdt or compass center? naturally. Then nourish it by breathing into the ldt cauldron I think for 10 months 4. Then it goes to your upper dan tien and you keep nourishing it and eventually it is ready to break out (9 years total). It breaks out and you slowly take baby steps with it away from the body, but careful or it can get lost. Then eventually it is ready to completely detach from the head opening. "The first concrete sign that the practice is moving in the right direction is the manifestation of coagulated spirit in the form of a snow flake which indicates that the divine child is ready to exit from the body. As Liu Huayang in his Huiming jing says, "The moment you see a snow flake, let it leave the physical structure." Not sure where the Bodhidharma evaporating into air thing fits in, and transmuting the body into yuanqi. Jesus and Buddha theoretically "casted off the husk" by dying physically while the completed yang spirit survived, Bodhidharma did the more ideal thing of transmuting the body too. The book is for sale on Amazon, that's where I got it. It has many references to classic texts throughout The images are of the Bodhi Tataung Standing Buddha statue in Myanmar. It shows the death of Buddha's physical body when he was 80 and the survival of the yang spirit. The yang spirit is composed of primordial qi, yuan qi, and can pretty much do anything, and can access the yang realm supposedly. And of course leading up to this achievement there are many other abilities said to be gained from the practice.

I didn't notice a dedicated post about this in the past few years so thought I would have at it. I think it's been on social media a lot, that's where I saw it. David Sinclair Harvard Aging Scientist -> him and his fellow aging scientists discovered NAD+ when investigating the body's aging-related pathways NAD+ is the key molecule for triggering the DNA repair chemical pathway and apparently/allegedly has been since basically the evolutionary beginning of the existence of DNA. Also it happens to be the case that DNA damage is basically the foundational cause of all cancer. DNA is damaged -> cells replicate incorrectly = cancer In youth, we have sufficient NAD+. I forget the age, but 20 something or so the level starts to drop. DNA is literally the code that every cell is reading in order to do everything else. Damage the code, and everything else will go haywire. Important to note, David Sinclair says that the cell keeps a backup copy of perfect DNA, from which NAD+'s pathway is able to tell how to repair the DNA I guess. I don't know the details of that. Using this "Information Theory of Aging", they have accelerated the age of a mouse by increasing the rate of DNA damage, causing its hair to turn grey, and other signs of aging, and then reversed it successfully. This mouse had a twin used as a control, they are shown below. David Sinclair supplements the precursor to NAD+, NMN. He takes and advises 1 gram per day with fat since it is fat soluble and without it will likely greatly reduce absorption. I take it with my vegan essential fatty acids, it dissolves instantly. He also takes Metformin and Resveratrol, I haven't gotten into those yet personally. The former is a diabetes drug that I think basically slows down the release of sugar into the bloodstream and was found to reduce death by all causes in diabetics to an extent even surpassing non diabetics or something? He says an alternative is Berberine from the berry Barberry. The latter, Resveratrol, is how he initially got famous because he discovered it, or rediscovered it in modern times, or something. He's that guy lol. Hopefully he didn't Zuckerberg someone else. I think Resveratrol is considered the cause of the French paradox. "The French paradox is an apparently paradoxical epidemiological observation that French people have a relatively low incidence of coronary heart disease (CHD), while having a diet relatively rich in saturated fats, in apparent contradiction to the widely held belief that the high consumption of such fats is a risk factor for CHD" (wikipedia). This is because the French drink a lot of red wine. Grapes are one of the best sources of it, but Sinclair thinks that no food contains the ideal levels of it so supplements .5g-1g instead. They tested it on mice with good and bad diets then dissected their organs, the fatty one had like a huge unhealthy and unhealthy colored and textured liver, the normal one looked nice, the bad diet + resveratrol one had the same size liver as the healthy one, with some interesting color and texture, but good health readings apparently. So basically Sinclair says that the body has no innate program for death. He says NAD+ levels naturally increase from exercise, fasting, foods with NMN, I forget what else. He doesn't seem to state the actual amounts that each one increases it by. The Hunza are a famous people who supposedly live an average of 120 years, they fast on apricot tea for part of the year until their crops are back in season. Sinclair is 54 or 55. His biological age shows as 30 and I think still decreasing as it has been. It used to be over his actual age. They use the Horvath clock test to measure age, it is highly accurate and can even tell when you will die. He says his organs are as healthy as a 20 year old's. In a video from 10 years ago he pretty clearly looks older than he does now. They are also working on a method of resetting the age of a cell using gene editing, and have successfully reversed age-related blindness in mice and monkeys, even regrowing ocular nerves. But apparently some labs doing this have seen growth of benign tumors so it's still in testing. A Japanese scientist discovered 4 genes that if switched on or off or whatever, revert a cell to the state of a pluripotent stem cell. But if you only switch 3 of them, it keeps its form as whatever type of cell it is, bone, skin, etc. but its age is reset. That's the basis of the method. People do other things for aging like supplement collagen, but our bodies already produce collagen out of 3 amino acids (proteins). The issue is that with age the mechanism in our skin and organ cells for producing it breaks down and is not repaired. "...UV rays cause DNA damage to the cells that make collagen..." so I think NAD+ repairing those cells basically mitigates the need for collagen supplementation and a lot of other things, and gets to the root of the problem. I plan to do another post about supplements/nutrition. David Sinclair suggests eating like 1 meal per day then fasting for 24 hours daily WHILE also getting sufficient nutrients. So basically ideally you would eat a meal that provides all of the nutrients you will need for the entire day or whatever period chosen. And then before your blood sugar drops below like 70 and your brain and muscles stop working, you rinse and repeat, fill up the tank again. This way you have sufficiently put the body into a state of stress as Sinclair explains it which triggers NAD+ production by the body itself. But again, we do have the option of just supplementing it. But I find that when I carefully take every nutrient needed in suggested amounts, I don't actually have much trouble fasting at all for 24 hours. More on that in my near future supplement post. Also I'm not sure how much you can load the body on carbs and how long you can last without the blood sugar getting dangerously low, would be nice to test, I might have to start pricking my fingers. That is to say, if you could fast for 48 hours it should be better according to Sinclair, just the more the better. He says in a fasted state the body starts doing the things it basically didn't have the time to do before lol, like clearing out dead proteins etc., which has a great effect on the body's ability to function, and of course NAD+ production. He also considers it to be the root of telomere shortening etc. I think, other previously thought causes of aging. Supposedly the army is testing it and created a stable form that doesn't degrate remotely as fast, although the current form is not bad. Also mice tested with it can run like 50% longer or something. Also a woman messaged Sinclair saying after 2 years on his supplement protocol her 83 year old husband's hair is regaining color, this was commented on his Instagram. There are different sources you can buy it from, some more affordable. The key is they need to show proof that it has been lab tested for quality. I get it from Renue in the powder form, comes out to about $1 per day. But NOW supplements has it cheaper and I think they do have quality tests available to view so I may switch to that. Anyway since the main source of info on this has been Sinclair speaking in interviews, there are questions he hasn't brought up yet such as, what is the upper limit of life extension possible from this? Does the body just repair itself infinitely? Mice have a shorter lifespan, so they must have found some answers on this. Are mice just spontaneously dying at the human equivalent age of 120 years regardless of NMN supplementation? If so it could simply be that some things are more difficult for NAD+ to repair for some reason and eventually entropy wins over, or could it be that the innate yuanqi battery runs out? There is Ming the clam who lived for 507 years until the scientists killed it without knowing its age. Did it have a larger yuanqi battery, or maybe it fasted or did something else that allowed it to constantly maintain DNA repair? By the way, NAD+ affects all animals, even yeast. There is a supplement for dogs now called Leap Years that contains NMN.

Wait, but I thought that passage was explaining the method for starting stage 2, gathering the ingredients and then circulating the MCO until they coalesce, starting the MCO and ending the leakage. Oh I see, I kind of mentally flew over the first part since I didn't understand it. Yeah that does kind of sound like code for ending the leakage. So the sealing is happening at the end of stage 2 and then it says to continue refining it using breath focused on the LDT cauldron, which from what I've read is how you will continue nurturing it for the entire process until it reaches the UDT and is ready to exit and doesn't need to be nurtured anymore or something. And I think the cauldron stays in the LDT the whole time but the embryo is migrating between the dan tiens Thanks that was helpful -

There's one, looking for others God it's so confusing. I can't tell if I'm just supposed to use the MCO to heat the LDT cauldron holding the yuanjing, or if I'm supposed to circulate the yuanjing in the MCO. -

You're just talking trash with no substance dude. These claims are foundational to Taoism. You don't just get to say, oh, they were just joking, Taoism is whatever I want it to be. If these things are false then all of Taoism is. Seeking truth means seeing that through, that's what I'm doing, I will be the one who knows if it's true or false. -

I don't see how you used that to explain the small Buddha without pulling it out of your It's not prickly to remain steadfast in pursuit of truth. You are just making yourself seem less reliable. It's not farfetched to think that being sexless is an optimal state of spiritual achievement. If that happened it would just serve as validation of the true path. And the following omnipotence would allow all of that to be resolved if it somehow still mattered at all. -

Your sweet concern is more like self righteous gaslighting nonsense. Ur logic is not logicing kiddo better stop You seem abnormally interested in beginners. Okay but you haven't successfully invalidated my method whatsoever to be saying that. Being ignorant to a valid insult doesn't make it false, not nice try though It's more dangerous for you to try to block truth and progress with your thoughtless invalidations than for me to present a true method accurately. It's right, it's safe, it's gentle, and it's amazing, and your gaslighting ego can't change that. It's absolutely incredible, you can meet the intelligent energy of yuanshen and allow it to intelligently open your channels for you. The WLP closing didn't really do much anyway once you get a feel for the energy so it's not bad to leave it out. I told an instructor I could still activate it after doing the closings... You're becoming familiar with something that has been there the whole time. It's not dangerous, it's the true method built into our bodies. Like they said it's not dangerous whatsoever. And to any sensitive person it's a natural occurence from stimulating the MCO, which is not simply an MCO, it's your body, it's intrinsic. And I said anyone can ask me questions. If what Taoist Texts said is true, it's basically like an AI for internal alchemy that you simply activate and allow to do everything (eventually activating the MCO thus ending the leakage). I didn't consider before that it could actually be a complete method on its own. -

Since the Cantong Qi cryptic text has been the hallmark of Neidan texts so that aspirants could study them but random people could not. Yet here were are studying Internal Alchemy for Everyone. But, numerous texts do state that they are supposedly stating everything as plain as day for the reader despite using symbolic language so that supports what you said. I will find the titles soon thank you very much this will be very helpful I think -

Great find. Not sure why you're suspicious of everything from oxygen to kittens. It's just a museum of Buddhist artifacts which can tell us about their historical practices. From there you just need to discern whether it's some side school or what exactly it's related to. The author is Chinese which of course is a huge boon in understanding the texts. -

Like I said I have 9 years of experience with famous lineages and it's directly backed by famous texts. It's not Mantak Chia. It is refined to its most basic aspects which I think should be highly valued. I'm handing you a deep insight into a likely method for xing-first cultivation in a safe and cautious form. When being cautious you stick to established roads, don't tread cliffs, etc. The MCO is an established road. And I didn't even say do this every day of your life although you likely could and maybe should. Anyway I don't care what you do I am just checking your carelessly negative statement with 0 supporting facts. It seems pretty ridiculous and unintelligent to say that breathing up and down the MCO, the trunk of the body's entire qi system, 3 or 4 times is dangerous And no just because Mantak Chia uses the MCO it doesn't mean he trademarked the key channels of internal alchemy 😂 -

S:C, Stealing is the term used in the Huiming Jing. It means that when yang moves from the kidneys to the genitals as the natural response of arousal (in the form of the male erection) in the body's preparation to provide some yuanjing to the supposed baby, the method is beginning by stealing that energy away from the natural process using breath and intention to guide it away, then circulating it in the Ren Mai and Du Mai to transmute it to yuanqi Note, the yuanjing essence is called "metal hidden within water", it's not the sexual fluid itself, it's yuanjing energy that accompanies it. You might think of it like water charged with electricity or something, except not exactly.
