Does anyone know if Jim McMillan is still alive?
Isimsiz Biri replied to Sleeper's topic in General Discussion
Then why did you post in this thread? I hope you had some real information. Totally disappointed. -

I also think that there are health risks of Mo Pai, Longmen Pai, etc, (neigong in general). But nobody can support you if we do not know your opinions. You better find your your previous description or rewrite it. -

Everybody will decide about More_Pie_Guy himself/herself, it is not polite to call him as "noob". Where did you describe the reason about health risk of level two of Mo Pai? -

Could you at least give the link of your long description such that we can read? -
Thank you Zhongyongdaoist. From your information, I perceive that there are/were/should be some Confucian Qi Gong schools or at least some techniques of Confucian Qi Gong are still practiced by other Qi Gong Schools (Daoist, Buddhist, etc.) May be the Confucian Qi Gong schools are not known by public but they still exist today?

80% of men do not repeat do not get prostate cancer. Previously, you quoted ACS statement that 1/6 of men will have prostate cancer in their life time (starting from birth to death, may be 75-80 years time, I calculated 105 years time). 1/6 makes 16,7 % not 80% About semen retention, I am not making any comments since there is no objective data in my opinion. This is not the subject of this thread either. In my opinion, this topic deserves a separate thread. Finally, you made a remark about the real subject: 1. How do you know that old masters are not involved in this event? I am asking not to provoke you, but to learn. For instance, is there a statement of Chang Shifu about this subject that we are not aware of? Or is it just your personal assumption that they are not involved? 2. And did you hear about Chang Shifu's warning to Kostas that he should not practice level 2 exercises, otherwise Chang Shifu can not protect Kostas. Do you have any information that this warning really did happen? If yes, what was the reason for this warning and what was the result of this warning? 3. I do not know level 2a of Mo Pai and Ping Heng Gong of Longmen Pai. Did you practice both of them? Or did you practice level 2a of Mo-Pai and you have theoretical information about Ping Heng Gong? Are they externally similar or energetically? Still, based on information on "Magus of Java" and "Opening the Dragon Gate: The Making of a Modern Taoist Wizard" I see almost no similarity at all. Again, this topic deserves a separate thread. -

No one has to deal with your ego. But sure you are right, you are a very great expert on everything. I will not be surprised if you are already level 10 in Mo Pai. Are you satisfied now? -
Dear Exorcist_1699, Are there schools of Confucian Qi Gong? Could you give us some brief information about those schools, masters and/or lineages? I am asking in order to understand. Thanking in advance for your kind reply.

Is there a certain reason why you are so aggressive? Too much Yang Qi may be. I said : "I do not know Jim Mc Millan's age when he was diagnosed with the cancer however I am sure that he was younger than 65." I referred to Jim Mc Millan's age when he was diagnosed with prostate cancer, not his current age. Did he catch this disease this year, in 2013? Please read the sentences carefully. I already stated that I did not know his age so I am not pretending that I know things I do not. Stop blaming people for things they did not commit. 1/6 makes16,7 %. If the male population is 100.000, and each year, the number of new cases 157,6 per 100.000 males, you have to wait (16.667/157,6) 105 years for 16667 males have this disease. "There are three kinds of lies: lies, damned lies, and statistics." Mark Twain From your other posts, I have seen that you know a lot about Mo Pai. If you know anything about the role of deceased Mo Pai masters in these two particular (Kostas Danaos and Jim McMillan) cases of prostate cancer, please share with everybody. If you do not, please stop this meaningless discussion. -

The male population of USA in 2009 is 151.400.000 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Demographics_of_the_United_States) Your source says the expected of new cases is 238.590 (Assuming this is for year 2013) For 100.000 male population, the number of crude new cases; 238.590 * (100.000/151.400.000) = 157,6 compared to 133,7 of UK. Cancer is a terrible illness. My mother is also a cancer patient. I am deeply sorry for your uncle too. I am not trying to show cancer rates less than it is. But at any given time, 1/6 or 16.7% of male population is not repeat not prostate cancer All I am saying is, two western students of Mo Pai with same illness together with threat of deceased masters makes me suspicious. And you are silent about deceased masters. In 2003, Kostas was 44 years old, pretty young age to develop prostate cancer as About 6 cases in 10 are diagnosed in men aged 65 or older, and it is rare before age 40. The average age at the time of diagnosis is about 67 I do not know Jim Mc Millan's age when he was diagnosed with the cancer however I am sure that he was younger than 65. -
Mantak Chia's Iron Shirt; good or bad practice

Excellent post. I agree 100% -
Thank you, but what is important is effect of this Zhèngqì, if it is exercised correctly, does it make the practioner Zhèng? I am glad that we agreed upon one thing. The important point is the effect of this Zhèngqì, if it is exercised correctly, does it make the practioner Zhèng?

As far as I know, æ£æ°£ (Zhèngqì) is used in some Qigongs and it is upright and erect like human spine, the terms straight, upright, are more suitable for æ£æ°£ (Zhèngqì) rather than "genuine qi"

if reincarnation is real do certain races require more
Isimsiz Biri replied to mantis's topic in General Discussion
Since mankind is present on earth for thousands of years, we possibly had many reincarnations. In my opinion, the effects of past lives are not equally distributed on our present life, you are much more effected by some of past lives compared to other past lives. However, as you mentioned, it is difficult to know. I also agree your description of normal population as uncultivated, lacking spiritual inclination and inclined towards worldly matters. -

By Longmenpai, do you mean the school in "Opening the Dragon Gate: The Making of a Modern Taoist Wizard"? My humble opinion, it is a very different school with different techniques compared to Mo Pai In 2010, the crude incidence rate shows that there are 133.7 new prostate cancer cases for every 100,000 males in the UK. 133,7 new cases for 100.000 males in one year, in 2010, in UK. I have to disagree with your comment. Besides, it does not explain whether the rumours are true or not. -

Isimsiz Biri replied to mantis's topic in General Discussion
If there is reincarnation (which I believe it does) one should be born as a Jew, Arab, Chinese, Japanese, Scottish, American, Spanish, etc. Then, any kind of racism is meaningless as we have lived members of all nations, religions, etc. -
æ£æ°£ (Zhèngqì) right or upright qi. Holy Quran (1:6) Guide us to the straight path (Ihdinas sırâtel mustakîm) The meaning of Zhèngqì and sıratel mustakim (right way) seems to be inter related. Both have the meaning of "right, straight". I am speculating, may be I am wrong, but is this Confucian Qigong promoting Zhèngqì such that who practices this art be Zhèng or right or sırâtel mustakîm? Very interesting topic.

Isimsiz Biri replied to Sleeper's topic in General Discussion
Thank you for your valuable input, but both of them having the same kind of cancer makes me suspicous, because as far as the rumours of 2004, Chang Sifu had warned Kostas Danaos not to practice level 2 of Mo Pai exercises any more as requested by deceased masters of Mo Pai and in case Kostas did, he could not be able to protect him. After this warning, Kostas continued to practice and he had prostate cancer. And now, Jim McMillan having the same disease, I really wonder what is the role of deceased masters of Mo Pai in these cases? -

In 2004, there were rumors about Kostas Danaos to have prostate cancer and he got medical treatment. Is it a coincidence for both western students of Mo Pai to develop same kind of cancer? Interesting. -
This description made me remember Morihei Ueshiba's experience in 1925: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Morihei_Ueshiba#Development_of_aikido The real birth of Aikido came as the result of three instances of spiritual awakening that Ueshiba experienced. The first happened in 1925, after Ueshiba had defeated a naval officer's bokken (wooden katana) attacks unarmed and without hurting the officer. Ueshiba then walked to his garden and had a spiritual awakening. ... I felt the universe suddenly quake, and that a golden spirit sprang up from the ground, veiled my body, and changed my body into a golden one. At the same time my body became light. I was able to understand the whispering of the birds, and was clearly aware of the mind of God, the creator of the universe. At that moment I was enlightened: the source of budo is God's love – the spirit of loving protection for all beings ... Budo is not the felling of an opponent by force; nor is it a tool to lead the world to destruction with arms. True Budo is to accept the spirit of the universe, keep the peace of the world, correctly produce, protect and cultivate all beings in nature.

Partial Exegesis of 1623 Hermetic Arcanum~Jean d'Espagent
Isimsiz Biri replied to Aunt Clair's topic in Esoteric and Occult Discussion
Sir, The distinction between good/bad always existed. Bad was bad 2000 years ago too. There is no difference in helping a Muslim or a Wiccan, this is the order and Adab of Islam, real Islam of course. Yes you are right, I never burn somebody in this life and as far as I know I did not burn in my past lives too. There is one important point. I can clearly see this Jean d'Espagnet indulged in negative practices and then committed this evil crime of Witchhunting. Please do not ignore the effect of Satan in this matter. -

Isimsiz Biri replied to Aunt Clair's topic in Esoteric and Occult Discussion
You should differentiate good and bad. Burning people alive is bad. If you believe that burning women alive is good, then this belief is also bad. Those poor women were innocent. They did nothing against the laws of that time. I can not believe how could you write this post. Unbelievable. -
Normal Breathing vs. Reverse Breathing
Isimsiz Biri replied to Southern Mantis's topic in Daoist Discussion
I copied a very useful passage from (http://www.shinichit...eathing-by.html) "Ki Breathing" by Koichi Tohei Sensei (18)&(19) .....We all have such a magic pot in the one point in the lower abdomen. This is an infinitely small point which can engulf anything. For example, if someone spreads false rumors about you, you could lose your temper when you tell this to your brain. By throwing it away into your one point, you need not become upset. To repress it would only result in this anger coming out later. This is not good for your health either. Just throw away everything in your one point and always smile. If you live this way, even though lightning strikes beside you, you will not be shaken up by the sound and the flash of light. They will be instantly absorbed into the one point and disappear. If you do this, you can enjoy tea even when you have lightning strike near you. You do not have to be shaken up by it. As one tries to keep his one point in daily life, one should be able to maintain a perpetually relaxed state of mind and body. One will develop a mind which is immovable even when the world around collapses, and a mind which is as vast as the ocean which can engulf everything and remain unpolluted. People in the world usually believe that relaxation means loss of power. That is why they cannot relax in an emergency. They tense their body instead. You will realize the importance of relaxation in an emergency for the first time when you realize that relaxation is the most natural and stable state. Most of modern diseases are caused by nervous problems. Stress, irritations, anger and depression make the fine veins contract and disturb the manifestation of the living power causing various diseases.
