My intial questions should have gone through my review board as I got carried away mixing some queries I have. Thanks for your answers. I guess I was saying in a round about way (wrong way). This seems like a dream sometimes and I guess there are other 'real dreams' that exist and I can tune into. This is real and unreal. Sometimes emptiness envelops me more and I feel like a veil will be lifted and I can go to other places and or not be here which would then be there, which kind of makes this a dream. The only way I will solve this is by my own experience I guess. Thanks again. ∞

To what end? I guess greater harmony, joy, understanding and love. I am not a great visualiser but the freedom of a lucid dream has and does excite me and this is what draws me to it. Maybe my answer is I am seeking freedom which I guess is liberating but maybe not liberation! And I want to explore and understand my greater self. ∞

Love him or hate him (I think he is maturing into something pretty good!) I thought this was insightful: Cameron is a nurtured representative of the corporations. I am all for breaking down the pyramid ruling structures and increasing self responsibility and self awareness to the masses. Treat people like babies and some of them will start acting like them. Pyramid power structures remove individuals from their actions so they act like robots with instructions. Lacking responsibility they are unaware or feel not responsible of their part in the cause and effect of there actions and thus powerless in their communities. I don't think unions have to have such big hierarchies but the UK has and it seems to me the EU has even more. Apparently in the UK 95% of all taxes from the tax payers in the counties go to central government. This issue on independence hopefully will have repercussion which devolve the power of Westminster somewhat! ∞

For a very short time years ago with lots of conscious awareness work and self hypnosis I was able to just fall directly from waking consciousness into a conscious dream. Jung apparently could do this too and he met archetypes and spirit guides directly. Anyway I would loose body consciousness and see images which would be before me and then would envelope me if I focused on them. I was young and would scare myself shitless encountering parts of myself in an unknown world where my projected mixed up feeling and emotions where very intense. I spent a night on my back on top of mount Sinai in Egypt bouncing in and out of dreams all night long. I think if you can go into emptiness just set up your intent verbally or willfully like a laser beam for lucid dreaming and off you go (requires full one pointed focus). Obviously you have to get the mind out the way and I think it can help by editing/reframing the mind with self hypnosis, positive affirmations to help facilitate your goal the deeper those suggestions go in the more beneficial. It's my view that with the right mind/open minded thoughts all barriers can be removed permanently. Am thinking of creating hypnosis tapes and then going into emptiness as far as I can then playing them. About 9 months ago I was getting up in the middle of the night and standing like a tree for 15 minutes then going back to bed. Practically every time in went back to sleep I had a lucid dream. Other people I have known used Jungian active imagination techniques and gradually built up their internal senses until ther imagination was like real and they could access their subconscious/archetypes that way anytime. Practice makes perfect I guess. In my view to cultivate lucid dreaming without having to go unconcious first (sleep) is the better way to go and in its seems logical to me both ways are going to require having energy and consciousness as opposed to being in an unconcious pattern. The other technique is the Carlos Castenda one where you look at your hands and ask your self are you dreaming. You make this a pattern of behaviour and then one day in your dreams you look at your hands and your realise that you are dreaming and hey presto your lucid. ∞

Lying in bed last night pondering this, looking and shutting of thoughts I saw and realised 'i' was no thing. And correct me if I am wrong as I have lost that glimpse but there is no argument, nothing to defend, more importantly perhaps no one to defend! And what I deduce from this is that there are no undeniable truths?! All I could say about that moment is that I was not, which is correct but something was which cannot be talked about. It seemed in that moment that if a tree falls in a forest and no one is there to hear it, it does not make a sound? Which I think beyonder is pointing too and it seems 9th was too? So if there is no argument, nothing or no thing to defend?! Thanks, ∞

Is that always undeniable? If not then it's not undeniable! If you already had 15 would you enjoy another? And I guess that goes for GP's cake too! That's a matter of your perspective and as such it's not undeniable. My logic could be wrong? Is 'I am' just a perspective too? ∞

True and this is kind of why I started this thread after 'UNDENIABLE UFO evidence etc...' as TTB seems to have its fair share of squabbles about 'truths' which sometime derail good honest interesting threads. So what is UNDENIABLE truth, could we settle it once and for all irrefutably? :-) I suspect this is going to end in a mess... ∞

Of course technically you are correct but in the context of the question I could do nothing in order to become truth realised and nothing to avoid annihilation! Benidorn with it's imported Saharan sand may offer a mild distraction though! :-) ∞

I got the easy one out the way first. Have not conceived of any others so was intrigued as to what could come up... I had no idea how this would unfold and I guess in my mind at least now I see it could be a word/definition/perspective/mind game. I guess an UNDENIABLE truth is a truth from all perspectives. What is life? Is the definition of 'life' temporary? That I guess would depend on your perspective? This springs to mind for some reason: The only thing that never changes is that everything changes. I love Ramana his teaching are simple, direct and to the point and I cannot see that any teachings could be more direct and simple and that's why he is one of the greats in my world. However, it's not what the little 'i' wants to hear as the little 'i' wants to feel its important and exists. He he. In my understanding more and more it appears all methods are just mind games as there are no roads to here! It's such a crazy truth! In my head this morning for some reason I was singing "be still and know that I am god" seems the Christians tradition knew this truth too (pretty obvious) but the message has been lost. Am going to revisit the bible as I was raised Roman Catholic and understand and reintegrate all that I rejected years ago. Peace ∞
