Wait ! Should I be angry too ? Nah .... I'll just take it as a dumb mistake on my part . -
The ones that related to your original question - I will have to go back and see ....... Ah , I may nave done a misread , originally I responded to this ; " One thing i find interresting in the old testament (and book of Enok), is the mention of nephilim, watchers, arch angels, council of the gods, use of both Lord, Yahwe, el and elohim (el means god, elhoim is plural). " After our discussion on 'council of the Gods' I was focusing on the bolded bit and not the actual crux of your question .... I could focus on the 'plural question' and also give you an hermetic analysis of some other names of God as they are attributed on the Tree of Life .... but a certain person 'protesteth too much ', so I will leave that . In any case , I see some of the 'entities' as described in the Urantia Book similar ( although much more detailed and complex ) to some of the above titles . As in Chapters 5 ... 436 - 4 ...... 444 Indeed ! Maybe its to stop us dying of boredom ? You still seem to have your feet on the ground ? I say that as when I say 'Universe and its energies ', thats a LOT more than planet Earth and its sky father and earth mother ( or the reverse as it is in some cultures ) or the 'consciousness of Gaia' we see as ' Mother Nature ' . And I dont see the 'expansive view point ' in any way separating humans from the rest of the Universe . As I said before , personally , I dont worry about the 'Ultimate ' as I do see the 'unfathomableness' of it all . I am busy enough with the 'local' ones . I dont feel my focus has to be Universal .... at this stage . I am sure Daniel would not want my interpretation on that one ! Well, that one interpretation ...... another is from the ' New Vision Old Testament ' , its a new look at what it all meant according to some ancient scrolls found in a cave .... Wow ! Thats one heavy dose of ..... https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/952635/

Hang on, this current reality is supposed to STOP me going insane and committing suicide ? Ummmmm .... someone better ring the manufacturer . What did that cost you ( for the process and then how much is the prescription ) ? What part ? I am in 'Gondwana country' , on the east side .... Mid- north Coast .

How about this version of it then ' The Universe* is the physical body of God .' * and all things in it ... including it's 'energetic bodies' ( fundamental forces ) . https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fundamental_interaction

The dark night of the soul - eckhart Tolle
Nungali replied to Sir Darius the Clairvoyent's topic in General Discussion
I found that a very good piece of writing . I like the way you expressed some things , regarding 'Dark Night of the Soul; as those expressions exactly describe another wider cultural process I had looked into and wrote a paper on ; Cultures in Crisis - what causes their collapse . I wont go into that now , it a bit detailed and anthropologically based . It looks at various cultures and what makes them succeed or fail ( and what criteria might be involved in that ) , but specifically I looked at Australian indigenous cultures . They hold a 'volatile reaction' to this process as one of the causes is an 'alien' disruption to their culture that seems to have the widest gap ; long term indigenous stone age people ( in some cases living right into the 20thC ) living in virtual isolation , being 'smashed' into 18th C Euro 'Empire civilisation ' . I struggled to find the words this effect had on the people , but your words describe the effect very well : " Or you had built up your life, and given it meaning – and the meaning that you had given your life, your activities, your achievements, where you are going, what is considered important, and the meaning that you had given your life for some reason collapses. " Its like ; you might be a good hunter , you can go out with another , perhaps, in hard times, and after a lot of effort and skill and training and ritual and ..... you manage to hunt down and kill a kangaroo .... that been going on for 10s of 1000s of years , then , virtually overnight , some guy sits on a rock with a 'fire stick' and kills 30 kangaroo, off in the distance in a few minutes . Now imagine that through all aspects of you culture life and meaning . It can result not only in the collapse and loss of a culture, knowledge, language , etc but in the individual " a collapse of a perceived meaning in life…an eruption into your life of a deep sense of meaninglessness. The inner state in some cases is very close to what is conventionally called depression. " Yes, definitely depression , a depression so bad , people 'wilfully' can begin to eliminate not just themselves , but their whole genetic line, culture and tribe , to the extent that Kaidilt Aboriginals , some of them practised facial and sexual organs self mutilation - as though they where making it impossible for themselves to be recognised or ever breed again . ( I am happy though to say, they got so close to the edge but where able to come back, increase population and now have a proud culture and heritage ... this of course begs the question .... how ? Thats another long subject, and the 2nd part of my paper .) " It can happen if something happens that you can’t explain away anymore, some disaster which seems to invalidate the meaning that your life had before. Really what has collapsed then is the whole conceptual framework for your life, the meaning that your mind had given it. " It is reported ( and we have some of them in archives ) that Ted. Strehlow ( what a 'character ' ... what a story there ! ) was in possession of at least 100 turinga . A turinga is a scared object that holds a man's identity and spirituality, his genealogy purpose and place , they are considered so scared they are kept in sacred sites inside caves or other secret areas - planted in the earth that the people where born from . Men just handed them over to. Strehlow ... what good where they any more , we are useless, you should keep this... you are 'top man' now ... we are lost . For those that are recovering , I am gong to share this concept wit them : " They awaken into something deeper, which is no longer based on concepts in your mind. A deeper sense of purpose or connectedness with a greater life that is not dependent on explanations or anything conceptual any longer. It’s a kind of re-birth. The dark night of the soul is a kind of death that you die. What dies is the egoic sense of self. Of course, death is always painful, but nothing real has actually died there – only an illusory identity. Now it is probably the case that some people who’ve gone through this transformation realized that they had to go through that, in order to bring about a spiritual awakening. " It seems possible , if we can get through this ( in Oz ) that the indigenous can help us , have a spiritual awakening . We are starting to realise and adopt some of their ways , realising and appreciating the wisdom therein but its a battle , 'we' have just lost the 'Yes' campaign / referendum to recognise them in our constitution . Your next line .... I think you know how I am going to respond to that .... " Often it is part of the awakening process, the death of the old self and the birth of the true self. " - 5 stars ***** https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ted_Strehlow -
Mortality has benefits and problems .... immortality has benefits and problems . One of the advantages immortality and power has is in relationship disputes .... as one of the Vampires demonstrated in that film ; He has a slave who must do his bidding , he has promised immortality to her in exchange ... but he has been hedging on it . She takes it up with him ; ' What about MY immortality , you run around having fun eternally , while I have to find you victims and clean up the mess after you , do your laundry, clean the house .... no other slave would be as good as I am , why if I left you , you would never be able to .... " He circles his palm in front of her face ' Silence ! ' , she rigidly shuts up . He waves her off , " Begone ! " , she stands up robotically and walks away . He turns to the camera and winks , " I love being a vampire . "
-
Well ... you do present an appealing scenario .... I think I now support immortality .

Ha ! I did it ^ . I might be old and slow Cobie .... but I got your number !

Now hang on .... the art of quibbling is the real old original and only valid word from the ancient Mastodonian . Squabble is based on a quibble but they stole the word and changed the spelling to distinguish the difference in culture . Understanding speling is all important . Dont believe me ... go ask a Mastodonion

Kabbalah calabas cucurbita ! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cucurbita ( Shit ! I just stole a word from the Latins ! )

I was recently talking to an historian ,on a totally different matter about a man, now passed, who was active in his 90s and healthy and he commented his sister was still alive and must have had the same genes ..... " She is in her mid 90s and still surfs .... on a surfboard ." And that isnt even someone that is a, 'cultivator' , or herbalist , etc

Sleepy Bluejay ... meet Daniel - Daniel ..... Sleepy Bluejay . If I understand this ; 'immortality' gives you a VERY long life , who knows how long ? BUT (apparently ) you can be 'killed' . . . so 'best' of both worlds .... sorta . I see most herbs as 'spiritual' especially the medicinal ones . We got super duper one's down here .... the indigenous know a LOT about them . One example is a tree in the Queensland rain forest , and in its fruit is a substance that can cause cancers to nearly instantly 'react' to it ( 'foam' and/or other effects ) , shrivel up and fall off , within a few days . Then other agents in it cause rapid healing of the 'wound' site - Blushwood tree fruit . " Dr Boyle said in 75 per cent of cases, the tumour disappeared and had not come back. 'There's a compound in the seed - it's a very, very complicated process to purify this compound and why it's there in the first place, we don't know," he said. 'The compound works by three ways essentially: it kills the tumour cells directly, it cuts off the blood supply and it also activates the body's own immune system to clean up the mess that's left behind." There were no side effects, but what amazed scientists most was how fast it worked: the drug took effect within five minutes and tumours disappeared within days. "The surprising thing for us and the thing that we don't see very often is the speed with which this occurs," Dr Boyle said. "Usually when you treat a tumour it takes several weeks for it to resolve, but this is very, very rapid. "There's a purpling of the area, of the tumour itself, and you see that within five minutes and you come back the next day and the tumour's black and you come back a few days later and the tumour's fallen off." https://www.abc.net.au/news/2014-10-07/queensland-scientists-discover-cancer-fighting-berry/5796106

My favourite one from the story ; ' The Boy Who Would Become Chief .' The boys are lined up along the beach , the current chief and elders are watching , one of the elders to the boys ; " This is the first test of the series to see who can become the future Chief of our tribe . " When I say ' Go ! ' , all of you, run down the beach , dive into the surf and swim out to the little island and around that island and back to the beach and then run back up to me ..... GO ! " The boys run off , 'Turtle Neck ' is a good runner and hits the surf first . He is also a very good swimmer and pulls far ahead of the rest as they round the island , but 'Green Mango' starts to catch up . 'Turtle Neck' notices this and speeds up but he cant loose him. But then one of the other boys at the back seems to be floundering , perhaps he has developed a cramp . ' Green Mango' turns around and goes to assist him and swims with him until they reach the shore . he takes him up to the Elder , where 'Turtle Neck' is already standing. 'Turtle Neck' declares ; " I won, I won the first test ! Looks like I am going to be Chief . " But the Elder says " YOU won ? " You didnt win ..... 'Green Mango ' wins the first test ..... a good Chief should always be looking out for the tribe ... the whole tribe and every member of it . "

Secret . All Cons IMO ... I dont want some other immortal dude in on my patch with a flying sword ... you kill him, and he just keeps coming back ! They already are . However one can 'increase ' the spiritual aspect ' of food . . . that experiment has been going on for around a century now . Ha ! You 'cultivators' are mortal . And such food only helps and is not 'deadly' .
