My summary of bhagavad gita

Ohfer gawds sake ... thats the point old3bob WAS making ; no direct contact but still, an effect passes . whether its god or black hole ... thats what he was saying Its YOU that argues about friggen kitchen disposal units , electrical transformers , puts up diagrams of them talks about their engineering principles and bob NEVER argued about connecting two parallel lines YOU DID THAT ! Itr was obvious he was talking about an effect passing over and between ... he NEVER said two parralell lines touched ... thats all you and you cant see it ! I bet you have similar issues with friends or family ; " For Chritss' sake Daniel ... you are doing 'it' again ! - I'm only saying that as its sooo obvious here , that it MUST be ingrained in your demenour ... or your demon er ... not sure how to spell it ... you can look it up in your encyclopedia . -
'hallucination' can also be when we 'loose focus' .... there are so many other energies 'out there ' , we have to 'ignore' them and focus on the main ones we use . I mentioned this the other day , in a sight experiment / exercise , we tend to look at just one small area , a bigger area is perceived by scanning with that one small area all over the pl;ace , here and there , nearly randomly , movement will attract the eye . The experiment is to look with the whole eye at the biggest picture all at once without 'building up a picture ' by 'point scanning ' . The complication is when we combine that with what Silent Thunder observes .... sometimes a 'malfunction ' or 'extra function' widens our receptors and we see 'strange things ' and sometimes 'malfunction' effects the 'interior analysis ' of the signal input . A while back a Buddhist monk stayed here ... he gave a talk on this 'no reality, just perception ' those things are not real, they are just a 'brain signal' . Later we talked in private , he revisited that idea and I suggested " Oh yes, but what about 'consensual reality ' . " he smiled and " Well, there IS that , too ."

around here cats get fed out of tins and hunt and kill the small cute and cuddly endangered wildlife for the sheer bloodthirsty fun of it obviously I am not a 'cat person ' ( I mean , shit man , I got a tree full of feather tailed gliders, outside my window at night ATM ... and neighbors that let their cats roam around ! The moral question might be .... what am I gonna to to my neighbours if I start finding mangled and ripped open gliders on my lawn in the morning . -

Oh daniel .... I am not sure why I am bothering with this ... esopecially since last time you where arguing with me about something , I presented , what I thought was an entirely reasonable comment on why OI thought something and you ; " I am putting you on ignore ." Well, I have 'come back from your ignoring ' to try and explain THIS ONE for you ( and NO I am not revisiting our earlier converse and sorting that one out ) ; YOU where talking about a kitchen disposal unity . old3bob made an analogy to a transformer in that " out one side of the transformer comes the named, on the other side is that which can not be named, " OBVIOUSLY this is not one's normal electrical transformer ... yeah ? its an ANALOGY . then for some reason you put up an image of a electrical transformer and say " in a transformer, the current on one side never makes contact with the other side. " - I dont see where old3bobs analogy says it does , and oif it did or didnt , that has nothing to do with the point me makes IN ANALOGY . You seem to be only getting half of it .... that is , you dropped the OGY and seemed steadfastly rooted in the ANAL . old3bob tries to defray your tac ; " electrical transformers workings can be used as an analogy for transformers of that which is more subtle than just electricity. " and goes on to clarify that , lijke in his anaology , there may be no physcial contact between the two sides , there is an EFFECT that passes over : " common transformers used in AC circuits do have a current transfer through induction otherwise it wouldn't work." But you cant accept being corrected or simply cannot follow the analogy as you could not keep the subject matter in context , instead of searching for some 'scientific mistake' that your intellect can correct - but even so old3bob is right ... you go on and on , insisting there is no physical contact between them and old3bob keeps referring to an effect . and besides ... what does any of that have to do with mats summary of the Bhagavad Gita ??? Now, put me back on ignore (as I only seem to annoy you ) ... take a powder .... and get back on topic . -
I agree ! ..... until they start 'killing babies ' .... then my 'other practices' will take over .

" Be the flame of the Sun thine ambience, O thou PRIEST of the SUN! " " I am the flame that burns in every heart of man, and in the core of every star. I am Life, and the giver of Life; " " Lord visible and sensible of whom this earth is but a frozen spark turning about thee with annual and diurnal motion, source of light, source of life, let thy perpetual radiance hearten us to continual labour and enjoyment; so that as we are constant partakers of thy bounty we may in our particular orbit give out light and life, sustenance and joy to them that revolve about us without diminution of substance or effulgence for ever. " " Thou who art I, beyond all I am, Who hast no nature and no name, Who art, when all but thou are gone, Thou, centre and secret of the Sun, Thou, hidden spring of all things known And unknown, ... " In my mouth be the essence of the life of the Sun! " Solar / Father invocations from the Gnostic Mass - a solar communion ritual . -

By the way .... there where no traditional Ninjas . Its a bit of a story concocted ... sure they had assassins and 'undercover agents' and practiced all sorts of stuff . But the traditional ninja as we think of them is a fallacy . yeah ... I didnt like that either . But a historian tanned my arse in that argument ! The traditional 'Ninja' 'look' was taken from 'Koroko ' ... what we might call 'stage hands' :

I've got a body ! I have seen a film of a test similar to this , some martial arts school , sorry I cant remember . They had to sit on floor and be randomly attacked from behind with a boken and be able to sense the moment and apply a well times technique . They could not do it every time , but some times they managed to pull it off . My first karate karate instructor ( Japanese style ) would stand against the wall and invite us to strike and stop before contact at either the back of his head, middle or lower back, and he would call out what we had aimed at . That might have been a trick . years later , one of my aikido instructors did a similar thing , but hos was more to do with a sense of the timing , with his back to us . We where able to test this one a bit more : he can hear us ... so we where sure to be quiet . he is seeing shadows or light change, so we turned out some lights and made sure the street lights coming in the window where the only lights and got him to face them ... we tried this and that but he was still able to do it ( it ended amusingly , like some scene from a Jackie Chan movie ; " Try and get me ! " close all the blinds and curtains and turn off lights - at night - turned into a class rumble , we thought we had him , where all piled on . Then the lights go on and he is standing over near the door at the light switch .... with some guy from the class being squashed at the bottom of the pile ) . After years of training AND years of motorcycle riding and still being alive its a valuable skill . The beginning of it seems to come from what I call 'spherical awareness ' being aware of the space all around you , all at the same time . Ju waza / randori is a great practice (if done right ! ) to help develop it . There are other exercises ... I was doing some yesterday ( but for another reason ) : observe your sight and the way you use it . You might notice your eyes move around all the time , scanning little bits of detail, you still have vision all around the small area you are focusing on , but it is sort of vague . This small area will be focused on and switch to being focused on movements . try to not do all of that , dont focus the eyes and scan little bits , try to take it all in at once , try to get information from all those 'other bits' in the field of vision that are normally 'vague' but observable . Also you can try this . get a friend to stand behind you , close your eyes and get them to randomly , after an unknown time , point their finger at that point where the back of your skull meets the top of the spine , from a distance and then move in closer . See if you can feel it and then see if you can tell when it is pointing at that spot and when it is close to that spot . The trick is : you might not be able to move out the way , faster than a sword can cut .... BUT you might be able to move out the way (evade ) from the time the other makes the mental intention to attack, the message gets to the arms and body, and the attack begins . At first one can panic and react to an attack , over time one learns to be calm and RESPOND TO an attack . After a while 'specific types of attack' sort of have their own energy field associated with them ... its as though you can feel some form of a specific technique coming before it gets there , I suppose it could be a 'mental projection ' from the other . I suppose that as at times , I have experimented with projecting an attack mentally ... you really gotta make your 'own self' believe it ; 'I am gonna come in with a front kick so hard ... right in the chest . ... and then nail em with a right cross and the other was " Where did THAT come from , I was SURE you where coming in with a kick then ! " There are also 'tricks' : friends went to some demo . Some dude claimed he would just sit there on the floor and he could stop anyone even hitting him with a sword ... with no contact from him . First guy took up a boken, took a few practice swings at his head , stopping them ... then 'wound up' for a hit ... but didnt do it . the second went to hit him but went off to the side . The third looked mystified by it all, just walked up and bonked the guy on the head with the 'bonken' . friends asked the first two later about it , they said " I wasnt gonna smash that guy over the head , he was a sitting duck ! I was expecting something else to happen or stop me . " The third said , " Well, I hit him didnt I , I wasnt going to smash hois skull ." They asked the guy doing the demo about the third one and pointed out he did get hit , response was " Well, it doesnt work with everyone ! " he probably imagines he is mentally repelling them . Dont try this with real swords folks !

Since it was my comment and the tarot card I used and now this is used fopr a comparative ..... point to make . I have to say , according to the meaning and gnosis of that card .... you have ot totally wrong . Those bodies falling out the tower are illusionary selves , false images , conditionings and things that are not 'us' not our real nature , they are blasted and falling and 'the truth springs free from them ' Your consciousness should be in the new sprouts, the new spirit , the true self within that is growing and evolving . Not be attached to some falling qlippothic , empty false cicada shell ... and be going :" Wheeeeeee ! This is a fun ride .... I'm alive ! " I can appreciate a 'Wheeeee - this is a fun ride ' from the perspective of rising spirit and any awareness and appreciation attached to that . Flying is fun ..... flying up is good fun ..... ' flying down ' might seem fun .... till you hit the ground . -
Whats your purpose/meaning or life?

Its a story with a basic 'folk theme' that appears in a few guises . A version appeared of it in Idres Shah book of Sufi short stories . It covers that dynamic of life where ; various frustrating paths have been followed , that seemingly end in failure and despair. yet knowledge and skill , seemingly unrelated, are learned along the way, and she maintains her ' virtue' . At a crucial moment , in dire circumstances , our heroine realises her particular skill sets and knowledge can come together to supply a solution . And from that her purpose is discovered and her original dream fulfilled ... although not in the way she had first imagined . [ I have a full 'fleshed out' version of the story , if you would like to read it . ] -

Oh dear .... acting on your DESIRES is not an expression of your true will ... thats an expression of your DESIRES . That ^ is all a bout the 'mundane will' ... or even 'free will ' . Ones True Will to be , for example , a sculptor who wants to show the triumph of love in society ..... need not also be a psychopath or be involved in insurrection . -

That's is the problem with that term ... especially when it devolves to just 'will' ... which is a totally different context . That's why I like the term Khvarenah ... but that term comes with a problem too - its exotic and people think its only specific to a certain culture or religion and not describing an essential part of the makeup of us all . -

Go gradually and the internal and external pressure will equalize . Also the process should expand and balance the intellect ... thats not saying the intellect should lead the expedition though . However it is certainly a valid path (as 'lesson 1' showed ) : I. Yoga is the art of uniting the mind to a single idea. It has four methods. Gnana-Yoga. Union by Knowledge. Raja-Yoga. Union by Will. Bhakta-Yoga. Union by Love. Hatha-Yoga. Union by Courage. add Mantra-Yoga. Union through Speech. Karma-Yoga. Union through Work. These are united by the supreme method of Silence. II. Ceremonial Magic is the art of uniting the mind to a single idea. It has four Methods. The Holy Qabalah. Union by Knowledge. The Sacred Magic. Union by Will. The Acts of Worship. Union by Love. The Ordeals. Union by Courage. add The Invocations. Union by Speech. The Acts of Service. Union through Work. -

So the war turned out to be nothing good for. Thank you for your answers however. Now the next question you can school me on is the issue of the aggressor. Who first officially declared the war on whom? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kurukshetra_War Look here Taoists texts ! Just friggen accept the philosophy ..... shut yer mouth , take this gun ... NOW , shoulders back, chin up, shut yer trap and ... left ..... left ..... left right left ..... -

Traditionally; The Blasted Tower .... danger terror destruction ! half way : The tower is the 'false self' , illumination destroys the falseness , images of false self fall , 'the gold' rises . But it is known to NOT be a 'gentle process' .... its an intense process . Then 'full way' ( up to modern new age tarot ) - anything from your house burning down to everything being 'perfect and wonderful ' I would suggest if a person IS interested in that process and was going to permanently brand themselves with an icon for it , to choose a more 'less intense' way of adjusting the self ; through 'Art' ; Its not specifically feminine , but shows the process of 'blending ' , alchemical arts , and the masculine and feminine sides of the artists / alchemist . -

Right . Except many of us are unique animals that somehow challenges nature, fights against it , believes he has 'dominance over' it ... so that 'separates us ' from nature . Yes and no . For me the above depends on one's concept of 'who we truly are ' . We are 'here' , perhaps we chose to come here , for this life time and place . That means interaction with the environment ( and family, tribe, culture, etc ) . The constitution of the self , is generated from several levels and components and the result of this is self , and this self and its environment creates the 'personna' . When we relate (for example ) , you are not getting 'Pure Nungali' you are also conversing with a set of programs and conditionings ( some, thankfully, adjusted by 'self' ). So is 'who we truly are' self or 'personna ' . If we choose 'self' alone , then we have to identify what that is ASIDE from our programmings and conditionings and ' accidents of incarnation ' ( which seem to include a certain amount of 'memory loss' ) and look at that . Some use a natal chart or other forms of astrology for this . In a nurturing natural environment , yes. ( and I mean 'nurturing' specifically, not just as in 'good' or healthy .... the whole range of it's meanings . ) Eg . as I said previous about the indigenous , in their natural state ; dont got much ... but happy , satisfied, appreciative , healthy, glowing , proud, standing tall, egalitarian, slave to no one ...... and that is how Captain Cook described them when he stopped for ship repairs at 'Cooktown' and spent some time with them . They know who they are and why they are here and what their purpose is . For some, all that is embedded in their name/s. Unfortunately , they where not 'left alone' . But we are more complicated , a child whose Khvarenh it is to be a engineer , might feel totally 'naturally' at home the first time she walks into an engineering shop . I like to keep it simple myself .....break it down to its basics , so it can apply in all sorts of situations ... especially tribal . Everyone loves the story teller ! ( just ask chat GP .... ) .
