Does your tradition have practices that you learnt about such things ... or are you 'flying by the seat of your pants' here ... looking up stuff and trying to figure what to do . In my tradition and if this was me , I would be so amping up my banishing and stabilizing rituals and a large dose of continual 'superego invocations ' . Dont you have 'other good guys' .... I'm here .... but you know me , I'm in a different time zone . I have a very special affinity for Nu and Ma'at .... got her wings tattooed on my forearms . I am both or ... a 'Neo-hermeticist' that has 'Neo-Egyptian' practices ( that are sorta like 'niedan' ) . There is also 'The College of Hermetic Philosophers' , an unusual inter order 'collage' where various 'orders' / groups have admittance with the aim of sharing 'Hermetic Philosophy' , which often includes science . And , in my view, (and for Oak ) , most 'Egyptologists' that have an interest in 'Hermetics' do not, as such have 'Egyptology' as the source of that , but rather the 'Alexandrian Synthesis' - a collation of teachings from late period Egypt in Alexandria , from Egyptian, Greek, Jewish, Zoroastrian and other sources . After the decline in Egypt, the Hermetic centre moved to Harran ( a most fascinating place at the time and very significant in the development of the 'western mysteries' ) . From there it moved into Islam , helping to create its 'Golden Age ' and from there , eventually through 'The Enlightenment' process, into European societies ... until, the development of modern science where they became 'discredited' ... by the western social paradigm . However , in some areas , they seem to be rejoining again , as science has enabled itself to look even deeper into things , and finds itself having to make rules, laws, exceptions, new ideas and theories which are, in some cases , just as 'fantastical' and 'magical' as the stuff they rejected a few centuries back . Yes . Not only am I aware .... I am a goat myself - a 'wood goat' . Goats have a main weapon against being scapegoated .... hence I also am known in some circles as ' The Butty Buddha ' . ( Yeah .... I know what you are going to ask next , I am referring to the head end . ) I was bought up Catholic , so I unburdened myself of the sins I never committed via much more 'reasonable process' ; we where made to attend confession , you could not claim no sins , as that would involve further 'persuasive extractions' , so you would make them up . Minor ones of course . The danger there was , there are not that many sins so you would have to recycle them on a roster ( like we used to have to do on our dole forms , listing job applications to receive your payments ) . " Hey ... you have listing the same jobs / sins for the last 2 months ! " In any case, your penalty for absolution would be usually , 'Three Hail Marys ' or an 'Our Father ' ( prayers ) .... some times ; " Awwww wow , I got three Our Fathers ! " What a hassle to have to say all that ! At least our souls got saved But you see, then along came an unusual Jewish Man that taught if you just believe in him all your sins are gone - he is like a shepherd apparently , leading the lambs . Thank you , I suggested this ages back to the moderation team , many a time . But I have been ignored . And now the esoetric section is FULL of this . And just the other day yet another ... yes another one ... a person who joined here to access and talk about things that relate to the esoteric section has been totally put off . I tell people to search the old posts , before Mskied and aka and the others and their multiple masked identities and returned banned people that snuk back in wrecked it . But they dont bother after looking through whats posted up here . They say its too unbalanced and psychotic . To think that all the work, some great and knowledgeable posters have put in here ! And to have it come to this . I tried sorting it out with past Mods .... I even heard from them something like ' people that where banned and sneak back in will be received with less tolerance regarding their posting . ' I was outraged .... as long as you have the tech knowledge on how to be dishoinest and cheat and get around your ban , you can stay ? as long as you are not too bad ???? Then I got a gnarly Mod backlash at me for it . But even that doesnt apply , as they are still doing this . . . right here . and .... 'helpful demon' has clearly confessed to being Mskied .... who posted what he did , and infuriated the owner , and any decent person with what he posted on this forum , and was banned . Maybe its some new misapplication of Daoist philosophy ... to not interfere ? Well, I am sure some of you remember what things devolved to last time you tried that ? You where nice enough to create a PP section for this very issue in the first place . HD could easily post there to his hearts content , but he refuses . Can you guess why people ? Thats 4 people so far ( that I know of ) in the last 6 months that wanted converse , learning, or clearing up some issue , relating to subjects in esoteric section , that browsed it and commented to me that it seems unbalanced, psychopathic, taken over by one or two posters and would actually make things worse for them than help them .

Lovefest is over . It was small scale, and very laid back . First time ever I recall going for a swim in the river during a festival and only seeing one or two others there ! And , I LOVE the fact that these guys ( Lovefest crew ) put it on . There was a committee from the community and some volunteers , but at this time , we didnt have to market and set up the whole thing , and at the end, when you tired, you dont have to run around and do the breakdown , return rentals, clean up, etc . ... phew ! Well, I had to clean up a bit . . . because I wanted the compost . I am sure 'they ' had a good time .... its a great camping spot , environs , river , etc . I cant say I enjoy the music ... that DJ 'duff' stuff is nothing compared to the music we used have going live there ..... those amazing nights when 'The Invisible Opera Company of Tibet ' played

Here is my 'Lovefest ' joke ; A guy goes to Lovefest as he is really lonely and wants to get a woman . He goes to the 'Breath connect' workshop and does the exercises and his whole psyche opens up and he is sitting there vulnerable, shaking and lonely . Then the ( Brazilian ) facilitator instructs them to pair up with another and 'tell their hearts truth' to each other . a beautiful radiant spiritual woman approaches him and asks him to pair with her - he cant believe his luck ! She says to him : " To be honest, my heart's truth is .... I came here to find a man , I cant find one in my everyday life .... I have been so lonely and near desperate ! ." The guy replies ; " I cant believe it ! Thats exactly why I came here too ! " and smiles at her . The woman replies : " OH NO ! ... not you though ! "
