    I'll defend him on this one . A friend gave me a jar of pickled whole small limes . ( Well, thanks a lot ! She works in a place where they distribute food to the homeless , I guess no one wanted them .) Anyway , its a clear jar with a clear liquid and some small suspect looking limes in there . The label has a picture of three of the limes sitting in a small bowl and under it ' Serving suggestion ' . And they look exactly like what is inside . So my popular opinion regarding most 'spiritual teachings' is ; they are marketed, they are given away as a 'gift' when no one wants them. I can clearly see what they are and how they are presented .... and served . And I would have nothing to do with them . ( The limes are still in the jar , sitting in the cupboard .... its been nearly two years now and my friends birthday approaches - guess what she is getting for a birthday present . )

    I guess it mostly depends on if you are on flat ground or not , or in the drainage area . We get a few small floods a year , thats mostly downstream on the floodplain . I am up river in steeper sided valley on a hill so its just access flooded , none of that - 3 feet of water inside the house disaster . Although, the old rickety wooden bridge across the river on our east boundary ( the lowest one in the valley and the first to go under ) has surveyors pegs across the river and a snazzy new sign saying new bridge project , finished by 2525 . I just checked it out . How often do storms / hurricanes come in from that direction ?

    Urgggh ! Thats close . reminds me of the NZ Kaikoura quake .... rail line was gone for ages . the ocean floor rose up and extended the coast in other places . A bad storm heading your way ? This weekend ? ( thats now , here ) .... all the best luck there . This is my old motorcycle run when I lived on the south outskirts of Sydney .... was fun and 'hairy' (as they used to say ) the road dropped off one side into the ocean, the other side, straight up with huge boulder catching nets , that didnt actually work ... until one day ..... after years off road slides and patch ups , they had to do this ;

    Nah . I have never charged a cent for what I teach and do . I have a firm philosophy on it . My 'magical mystery school' forebode it . When I became an initiator I swore not to do it . In martial arts , my teacher never did that and I followed his example . The only exceptions where if certain equipment or ...... was needed for the student to use they are expected to pay for that , or if bought to be used in a ceremony where it is given to them , they should pay for that . In martial arts , no money, but you might end up helping teacher in his catering business . or here .... no money, but you can chop firewood ( I often do that one : " No no no .... what happened to the rest of your body ... look how you are cutting with that sword , this is the problem , once some get a sword in hand, they forget they have a body . Look, come over to the chopping block , now split that bit of wood for me .....good ! Now, what did you just do ? You shifted and planted your feet in a stable position , you got a good grip on the splitter , hands right distance apart , you even 'sunk' a little in your 'stance' as you delivered the blow .... and exhaled and made a little grunting 'kiai' . .... very good .... now, you go practice on that pile ... over there .....

    Indeed ...... I found a cheap immortality course on line for $100 a year ! Immortality courses should be run by ..... of course .... immortals . Immortals are around a long time and can therefore turn over production more and charge less, but over time, get a greater income . Thats how you tell if they and their course is 'fer real' . Those fake fly-by-night immortality teachers that are not immortal charge more as they have less time alive to make money . Its common sense really .

    Really .... just from those tiny little snippets ? I hope you are comparing it to the 'average ' and not your own . Life should be interesting , varied, full, exciting, joyous , grateful, celebrating .... What does galen_burnett do when he aint arguing with people on the internet ? I am in the process of courting two young ladies : they cant find a suitable boyfriend so I offered this : "Look, you know how much of a hassle men are , why dont you two share a boyfriend and then you only have half the hassles ! I am willing to take you on ... and before you protest that I am too old for you .... if you add both your ages together , well, it nearly equals mine . " Actually its about to get more interesting ... just like the old days ; in the past I been on the committee (some times that meant me and one other ) for about 7 festivals here on our commune . None for years and years now , people tried but they nothing like they used to be , now they are just noisy music 'duffs' on drugs . This one is supposed to be different . Not 'us' but another group is using our festival site . Spring ! Party !   24. YES! I morph into that some days .... from awareness of and appreciation for 'being alive' . I marveled about a rock, that ' existed' and didnt 'not exist ' . But then again ... maybe everything that 'exists' is 'alive' ? Then again, maybe I been looking into sub atomic physics and the 'original conceptual framework' pre 'big bang' too much ?

The forever ocean of liquid ecstasy is death / heaven / the after world / the happy hunting ground stripped of 'what causes it ' and leaves 'just the emotion generated ' .... like life begins when floating in the 'forever' ocean of liquid ecstasy in the womb . But eventually , that ends and the next stage comes . Do fetuses in the womb imagine the new coming life accurately ? Also we know the one constant is change . Considering our possible future evolution through the Universes .... 'forever' and even 'eternity' might not be as we imagine now .
