Ha! I got morals and ethics switched around . I still think your problem is with your particular understanding of karma though .. On a Universal level, there is no 'wrong' ... thats a personal or societal judgement and tying karma in with that will certainly be confusing . Karma , for me, is about action / reaction ; you pollute your water ... you might get sick . You go into a rage ... your blood pressure might go up, create stress and disturb your peace of mind , etc. Its not that you 'karma will get even ' with you for your own 'wrongdoings ' .... you might suffer pangs of regret or guilt . But if you are one of those that seems to be able to inwardly justify their own bad behavior ... you might be smug and happy about what you are doing . I do realize however , that many see 'karma' as similar to how Christians see heaven and hell ; as some type of balance , reward or punishments relating to their own concepts of good and bad .

'Jungle grip ' My friend (see video I posted in Aboriginal thread ) passed a lighter to me like that, the first time I sat by his fire . The Nephs where having a giggle . But ..... I used to play with that grip since I was a kid .... and was able to take the lighter the same way . Which caused surprise ...... if only I could have lit it up that way .... that would have been very impressive ! -
It seems like you are comparing a modern new age view about karma . Morality is certainly subjective, being a societal model the individual is supposed to adopt . The internal considerations , aside from this outward code (of morality) is ethics . I am also curious as to how you define 'spirituality' .
-
Certainly ! All sorts of people with all sorts of faults and moral decay consider themselves spiritual . besides, nowadays all you have to do is declare you are spiritual on social media and ..... you are spiritual . A person can consider themselves all sorts of things .... their internal considerations are the pre form of the words they issue , and not necessecarily backed up by any actions whatsoever . . . that seems a type of plague at the moment .

Here is my teacher - 'Uncle Lewi ' . It's a dated film , but still timeless . I have not seen him for a while - but still, his teachings continue to ripen and produce fruit . The background is up Rocky River , approaching a special sacred site - which I was honoured to be allowed to visit , and spend some time camping nearby .Beautiful ! The river braids through a rock bed, all around are clear pools, eddies , little waterfalls, river gravel beaches . A low vegetation was over a lot of the islands, twisted and like bonsai from the flood, it was all in various types of flower and had small various species of honey eater birds and small kingfishers* darting about . At one spot, I found a gunya ( small natural hut / shelter ) on a small river gravel island . An unfinished project was underway there , some stone axe heads and chippings from where they where being made , handles, binding and 'native epoxy' ** ... in the 21st C ! I was rather amazed and respectfully retreated . * ** 3. Thermoplastic resins https://www.australiangeographic.com.au/topics/history-culture/2015/03/aboriginal-australian-inventions/ ( also the first people to make bread , an aerodynamic 'wing', start farming, create aquaculture ... etc . ) Here is one the ' Nephs ' , their (blood) Uncle Lewi , taught them when young lads, how to survive , long term, in the wilderness, starting off with ..... the bare naked self , and of course, the teachings, knowledge, Law and how to apply it all ( they where also required to 'prove' that by being dropped off naked in the wilderness and .... basically ... being able to come back healthy and alive after several months their first initiation into manhood. ) You can feel the quiet calm and confident nature of these people ; the Bunjalung . I have never received anything from the Bundjaulung but kindness, understanding, food, shelter and teaching . - Booglebar ! .

There is . Its just that 'your' theory is wrong . I have seen horizontal lightening many times here . It doesnt go against any 'theory' .
-
Its not clear what you want to ask . Lightening often strikes in the same place , I even have a 'lightening spot' up on the back hill of the property where three major strikes, at least , have happened . What 'weird place ' and why was it 'weird' ??? Are you asking about lightening in a clear sky ? or are you asking if anyone in Northern Italy saw it , or if any one else's connection went out .... or what ?

No Bind ... not ' in ' the sunbeam , he 'slid down' the sunbeam . ( Now, if he had followed 'a beam of light ' in the vacuum of space , that aint sliding down , is it ? So now according to Lairg , sliding down ( ie 'down' implies Earth orientation and gravity , and hence atmosphere ) Einstein did not imagine what you suppose at all; no chasing, no space and no vacuum . Thank heavens Lairg is here to put us on the right track ! -

So, Einstein slid down a sunbeam and a 16 year old boy recorded the event 10 years later . -

Well, that is exactly what the OP did . and check the thread title . SOMEONE thought it was a good idea to bring this aspect forward and disassociate it from any other context that you suggest might have been in the talk . and some posters are still defending this 'narrow context ' -

I cannot fathom how in any way this relates to the quote from Pak-Satrio that you put above this little discourse . Its almost as though you think he is advocating drug use over meditation . You dont seem to be understanding the essential point of our protests . -
