It all depends . Should you 'do good' / show kindness to someone who is doing bad things and creating cruelty and suffering . if you want to 'do good' should you not try to alleviate the suffering caused by another . or would you just let them run wild ? Some people need to be 'bought in line' . others, as Luke points out, might have a problem or an issue that can be dealt with differently . So it isnt about just doing good, its about 'discernment' . I'd suggest 'cultivating' these skills , in this order ; first collate knowledge ( about the situation, so as to make a better informed decision ) . Then understanding ; perhaps a person is doing bad things because they keep getting away with it and no one disciplined or stopped them , or perhaps they need sympathy and support in better ways . You need to understand a situation, the whys and wherefores. Next comes wisdom ; wisdom is the realization of what may be the outcome and effects of your subsequent actions . Know that unbalanced severity is but cruelty and oppression YET unbalanced mercy allows and abets evil to exist . But generally, in day to day affairs, going around 'doing good' ...... is a good idea .

So as to escape ( solstice and doubling as my birthday ... and I KNOW what trouble can arise on this day ... from past experience ... so I told everyone to keep away ) - for the day I zoomed off out to the coast . On the way there , I ran into a distraught friend , " This and that happened to me .... I got injured .... my boyfriend doesnt care , boo-hoo , he hasnt even given me a hug for weeks and ..... " Hmmm ... seems like this day can be rather intense for others too . So I gave her big hugs, kidnapped her and took her out to the coast with me , we stood up on the headland and watched pods of whales pass by going up the coast , doing their route from Antarctica to beyond the Great Barrier Reef , as they do here in winter . There is something rather magnificent and special about seeing whales . A few others there where enjoying the experience too . An old guy approached us and asked if we wanted to look through his binoculars. Locally, its a great spot for it , there is an eastern intrusion of the coast , a few near shore islands and near shore ocean currents that divert the whales close to shore at this section . It might seem a strange solsticial subject, I know most people north may think of snow, rain and such for their winter solstice , but around here , its whales .

I think the aliens have been amongst us for a looooooong time !

Oh damn TM ! A day too late . Yesterday I went to 'Little Bee's ' * ( Queen bee's daughter ) 5th birthday party at the 'Butterfly House '. I would have asked about that . A little busy though .... 'No kids , dont catch the butterflys ... you are not supposed to catch them . " . ( The in house attendant should have done that but he was young and too busy with intense attention to his phone ). I do know ( or think I know ) their reception of the light band is higher than ours - their lower limit is above red reception and the higher is into the ultra-violet / electromagnetic . * Little Bee ; But thats a great question for me to ask the 'Queen' !

Well ... I asked 'Queen Bee' , she said "They wiggle ." Typical response from her ... always trying to wiggle out of things . But, as I do , I come to eventually meditate on what she informs me of . They HAVE to have 6 sides as you cant 'wiggle' in one direction ; a wiggle is a quick back and forward vibration , two directions . Ya cant wiggle in one direction .... that makes a straight line . And 3 is the most stable and simplest construct (as in a triangle ) so if you wiggle in 3 directions you get 6 'dents' around you and that makes a hexagram ( after some minor wiggling adjustments and some modelling ) . One could wiggle in two directions and that would make a square , which is not as stable and the comb would sag and collapse . Cant make 5 sided as thats an odd number , cant make wiggle shapes that have an odd number of sides . My problem was , either pentagons start forming off the side of the hexagons OR the hexagons gradually get out of shape and distorted . Then I finally figured out why .... in many peoples heads, figures are drawn in a one dimensional manner . On paper we think a line is one dimensional, but it actually has a thickness . This is greatly magnified with wood , 40ml thick . Is it global ? Or just part of decaying societies - the main one being 'western modern society' that seems to have its insidious roots everywhere ? The most common version of this I have encountered is with common everyday people's 'word speak ' . Words seem even more divorced from actions than in the past . Its not so much about turning to a person who seems capable of solving an issue , but everyday communication, arrangements and problem solving . It seems that nowadays it is enough to merely give lip service with no intention whatsoever with follow up actions , and this is not just because I am pissed at a recent occurrence ... its a long time observation over the last few years , and in that short period , its gotten a lot worse . Eg . A woman here has a cat . She knew full well it was against the rules before she went ahead and broke them . She is also a very (verbally ) considerate person and gives out a lot of word speak about consideration and respect ( BULLSHIT ! ) . My place is a native animal reserve , I have all sorts of different animals here raising their young . It is common knowledge how much havoc cats can create in such an environment ... IF not managed properly . I filmed it at my place hunting . I knew she would be in denial . After the expose we had a sit down as she wanted to resolve the issue . I talked about control options . At the end she really surprised me and offered this 3 step solution : 1. I will get a control collar and set boundaries on it .... if that doesnt work 2. I will construct a cat run and outside cages, as you explained them to me ... if that doesnt work . 3. I might have to re-home my cat . She does none of that and goes behind my back and in a subversive and threatening way ( to the company , threatening them with legal action unless they comply ) goes about trying to change the cat rule . -and now people think I am being 'uncool' as I simply do not like her and have called out such behavior . Another guy, arranged to help me with some work , after weeks of cancellations and trying to pin him down he finally ; " Well, to be honest with you , I actually won't be helping you ." I said , " Well, its good you finally decided to be honest with me , as your bullshit has held me up for over a week now ." and HE got insulted ! Thats a good one ! years back some dude and his cronies wanted a whole lot of my stuff for a book they where collating (note collating - not writing , the whole thing was a giant exercise in plagiarism . When I said pay me for it, they where shocked and I was berated for not contributing knowledge for free . Of course THEIR book was sale Indeed ... not entirely clear ! An American film producer ( we where working on an film together here in Oz ) asked me to write a film script . I spent months on it . Then he went back to USA , without so much as a good by and no forwarding address . A friend in the industry here was supposed to market it , took it to a producer and ended up having a relationship with her and never presented the script ???? What a friggin circus ! Same with writing and publishing . Here is a recent one ; My friend believes he nearly got scammed of money from a fake phone call . he got an email from the tax department .... re calculation, pay up . Then a red letter ... you are in danger of an offense, a warrant could be issued , pay up ! Ring us now ! So he does and they explain it all to him and he says yeah, I will pay it but I will put in an application for hardship and pay it off . He is asked what hardship and he lists them, including his wife's current cancer treatment . The woman on the phone asks if his wife is having cancer treatment and mate says , yes, right now. The woman on the phone says ; " Look, I cant do this any more, this is fucked .... its a scam , just forget the whole ting , keep your money ." and hangs up . mate thinks he nearly got scammed by someone pretending to be from the tax department . I offered : 'It worse then you think .... that woman probably WAS from the tax department ! What is this statue ^ Lois ?

Arrrgggh ... thats one of those 6 turns into 5 thingos * ! Why does that keep happening ? ! It took me 4 days of manipulation to solve the puzzle .... now its all sixes , no more pentagons suddenly appearing . * ( No I have not been doing psychosomatic alchemy - I have been making a wooden shelving unit that is constructed of multiple pieces of wood, all exactly the same size and cut that fit together in a puzzle, of 6 sided cells (like 'honeycomb' ) , that is also a shelving unit and is self supporting without glue , nails or screws . Cool , I did a mixed bag , I have settled down to arnis ( eskrima, kali ) though . No teachers around my place . So I too am 'alone' in that regard . But still, as you probably realize , with years and years of eclectic experience and understanding in a few traditions , it gives you a base to be able to understand and interpret things , to an extent, with out a teacher . But if I found one, I would be in in a moment ! I have concern about your ' profound disconnection ' though . At times I feel very strongly - the opposite .... and I know the value of that experience . Do you choose to go through this and see where it takes you , or do you feel you would like to 'connect ' ?
