Materials list .... 6 double terminated quartz rods ! Curious - when I worked for Bio-dynamic Agriculture Australia I was making prep 501 ..... out of smashed and ground quartz crystal rods . It has a variety of applications but works via induction into the atmosphere . Note, not the local area 'air' but the atmosphere itself .... supposedly . I was .... 'yeah, right .' So I decided to try some at home . I was warned to make sure the spray went up ( so best after dawn ) into the air and not near trees or vegetation as it may 'burn' them .... especially native vegetation . Another reason I was skeptical is the preparation is ; mix the 501 into water by stirring and then it has to go through a very fine filter to remove the small particles ( as they would ruin the pump seals in any aerial sprayer ) . Since quartz particles do not dissolve in water ( by stirring for 20 minutes ) , there would be no physical quartz in the spray . Anyway , I sprayed some at home and decided to do one small 'clear' spot near the house . There is a native bottle tree nearby . Some spray drifted towards that tree but at the time I did not worry . After a few days the leaves on a few branches on that side of the tree started to brown and dry and fall off . Those branches never recovered , they died off . Still today that tree has less foliage on that side . Curious . Another curious thing about quartz ( aside from its ability to generate electricity when under pressure ) is its association with lightening strikes ( underground quartz seams can attract lightening where they come close to the surface ) and its association with Aboriginal energetic 'ground networks' .

yeah , we had one on location in Victoria .... errrrr ..... ' I had not known about that before , used to get a few at least each morning , sometimes right where we were set up . Apparently most active just before and on dawn , which I never knew . being the first on set - and having a bit of a quite time before the madness started , we would chat , drink coffee , I learnt quite a bit off him . * Old man's memory joke ; 1 st old man on park bench : " Oh well , its Wednesday , the middle of the week . " 2nd : " No ... it's Thursday . " 1st; " No, its Wednesday, I know because when I got up this morning and took my pills out the pill box it was the Wednesday section . 2nd ; " Nah , its Thursday , ya probably got your pills mixed up . " 1st ; " Look ! At my age , I will take any extra days I can get , as far as I am concerned it IS Wednesday , so shut up ! "

Same with our black snakes and death adders IME : black snake is most interested in avoiding humans , will flee when ever possible but get very aggressive when trapped, cornered or otherwise threatened . I have been told death adders are aggressive and fast , again not in my experience ; once a bunch of the kids here where marooned up on a trampoline as a death adder had decided to sunbake on the ground next to it . I asked her to move along and then gently suggested which direction with a nudge from a long stick , she immediately amped up, so I retreated a step or two, she had a good look at me , then turned and went off in opposite direction - thank you . Another time , we where way out bush walking - down a track to a waterfall view , on the way back, up steep stone stairs, with a cliff on one side and this steep scrub on the other side , a huge red-bellied black snake across the track , no way around .... I wasnt going to step over it ... and then it it arched up getting agro .... shit , what to do ? It was a standoff for a bit until I relished how stupid I was being , then " Excuse me Mrs. snake , I nearly didnt see you there . Would you mind if we went past please ? " .... she looked for a bit and then off she went , leaving the path clear . Like any animal, their demeanor will change when unsure or in fear of harm ; a few weeks back I found a python badly entangled in bird netting , hopelessly entangled , some strands had cut into its skin - Oh man, what a mess , one look I knew it was going to take a looong time to snip all that off . Snake was very aggressive , mouth open, lunging at me , very unusual behavior for that type of snake , usually I can pick them up for a cuddle ( they like the human warmth on a cold morning ) . The first part was very tricky, trying to hold the aggressive snake so it could not bite me , but at the same time trying to cut through the twisted and entangled netting with tiny curved surgical scissors . But as so as I cut through the main bad bit and the snake felt the pressure release , and more so with each cut and fiddle I did , she started to relax and stop struggling and let me do it . Took about 15 mins after that , finally free without too much damage - they are very tough anyway . She hung around next to for a bit as I sat there on the grass , in her injured state I thought she might be in danger of an adventurous kookaburra , so I took her into a spot under the tree ferns . Here is some more misinformation; a few times when holding a python , some person that is unfamiliar with snakes has touched it or stroked it and said with surprise ; " Oh ! They aren't slimy at all ! " - how did that one start ? Red-bellied black Diamond python - 'rainbow serpent ' Death adder ( they have a habit of hiding under leaves and sticking that little worm like end of tale out and wriggling it .... ummm, if you see something like sticking out the leaves or mulch - dont grab it ! )

HEY ! You made a mistake , coloured a shape that you should not have @ around 11: 30 , 16 rows in . Nah . ITS GREAT ! Especially pleased to read it was not done on a computer .... and the time you spent on it . It reminded me of some of the stuff I did the same way . Drawing up grids, connecting lines ( lets leave out all the mistakes and blunders ..... 'Oh NOOOOO , that bit was supposed to be yellow ! ' ) , intricate measurements , multiple colours ( poster paint - guache ) and then the signs and sigils drawn in . 1 ( the major piece ) probably took me about 2 months .... I estimated about 90 hrs work , on a square grid . 2 ( multiple works ) , more like yours above - 'mandalas ' Maybe you would like to try it .... you seem to have the patience and skill . 1. was ; I painted a series of 'Enochian tablets ' . It involved drawing up a large grid ( tricky enough ) , the line work , the selection of colours relating to an hermetic formulae, then the lettering on top . 4 times ( as there are 4 charts or 'tablets' ) and one smaller one . Each tablet represents an element and the forces at play within it ( sub-elemental , eg fire of fire , air of fire , etc - Kabbalistic, astrological, numerological, etc . represented by form , pattern and relationship to each other . The letters are from Enochian (angelic ) language . Energies can be 'unlocked' (or if you like 'angels can be communicated with ' ) by vibrating the letters vocally into strings of sound by combining various pathways that show the letters . This is the central smaller tablet of spirit , each square can be considered a truncated pyramid , sort of like a key on a keyboard . So each letter on a square can sort of 'toggle' in each direction. There are many different styles, mine was based on this one ; Air tablet ( mostly yellow ) top left is air of air , top right, water of air , etc The other tablets have varied colour depending on what element it is . It was certainly an exercise in accuracy and patience ! or you might find this more interesting - magic squares ; you select a magic square, draw up a square grid, observe its numerical sequence then draw a line from 1 to 2 to 3 etc to the highest number . Then rotate the resulting pattern on itself ( usually only once, say at 90 or 180 deg for higher numbers or maybe 3 times , 90, 180, 270 for lower numbers ). Then the shapes made can be coloured in , as you did above in your design . An hermetic colour scheme can be used for this as well . If you chose, say , square of 5, that represents Mars, so the colour scheme would be based on those colours. Eg Mars , 5 . Magic square of Mars ; 5 x 5 = 25 . Numbers 1 to 25 are put on grid in 'order' ( to see that order or the 'magic' - actually 'maths' - add up the numbers in any line or column and compare totals ) . Then draw a line from 1 to . 2 to 3 to .... 25 ( You would realise this ; it has to be accurate , the points you use need to be the same throughout , either the exact centre of the square or offset the grid on your page and use , say, the top left point of each square . ) What used to be done was ; a spirit or energy of a planet had a name , that name would have each letter value as a number , then the numbers of that name linked on the grid to form the sigil of that planetary spirit . But this is different, a newer system that creates a 'mandala' of a planet or spirit. Eg . here is the process done with square of 4 - Jupiter - I credit Jain with this system as he was the person that showed it to me . The results an be pretty good ( although Jain does not use hermetic colour schemes ) ; I find the bottom left one fascinating ; 8 x 8 - Mercury , made by Ben Franklin ( who could pretty much make them up as went along , 'doodling' ) - its internal mathematics are fascinating . I used to be a 'power tripper ' .... well, I was accused of it , when I was ( many times over the years ) a director of the company that holds title on our community . Mostly what I did was try to follow the rules ( the people themselves voted on making in the first place ) , make exemptions when considered important ( in group decision with other directors) and also mostly ( because I was often asked to ) to fairly mediate between two conflicting parties - then getting dissed by the party that didnt get what they want - who was usually the one that asked me to do it in the first place because I was so 'fair' . Ahhhhh - humans ! Dissidents complained we where on a power trip , so they stopped paying rent and got up to all sorts of subversive mischief , rule breaking and thumbing their noses afterwards . " Oh meh meh meeeh , you guys have all the power ! " Okay, so I refused to be re-elected, so did the others . Then the dissidents took control and got voted in as directors . What delightful karma ! After a brief period of gloating and thinking they had seized power they soon realised it wasnt power but problem . Now they are the ones complaining that no one follows rules ( we still do, but they dont ) , and that there isnt enough money in funds to do what they need ( because they stopped paying rent years back - we never did and still do ) and most delightful of all , complain that the job doesnt have any power associated with it after all, just bothersome work, responsibility, and people complaining at them unfairly for doing their work for them ! ..... I am from a first world country .... well, maybe .... anyway, some of the most poor and destitute people on Earth here . So they could actually be poor and destitute and from anywhere ..... but then I wondered if those people have internet access and a computer and a desire to do ' nie - kung ' ?
