More snake news . I was working yesterday cleaning out the shed and throwing stuff out on the driveway. Occasionally some big huntsman spiders would run out of it . One of the locals , a kookaburra, had himself perched on a nearby branch and was swooping down to get them . One time I nearly tripped over him , I walked out and he swooped by low, his wings brushing my shins This is rather common , they get attracted by digging, work or anything that disturbs the ground . ( Local tells me he was digging a hole , kookaburra kept jumping in for worms and getting in the way , he wouldn't get out at one stage ; " I had to get the shovel under him and lift him out ! " ) Another time I wrote here about one swooping me and landing near my feet and pinning a black snake to the ground that was coming towards me that I had not seen . Good boy ! Anyway, I went out and lifted up a sheet of plastic weed suppressant and there was a long thin snake under it . Probably a green tree snake ? . Kooka was on the roof , so I called him and he looked , I had a long stick and put it next to the snakes body and flicked it onto the drive . He immediately went for it . I have seen this a few times , snakes are part of their common food ; they usually dive in and with their big beak strike it behind the head and start smashing the head into the ground and thrashing it about , sometimes rather big snakes too . Not this time , I never seen this before . Snake put up a ferocious fight , kooka couldn't seem to control it , at one stage they where rolling around on the ground, kooka on its back . I thought I saw the snake strike him . That was enough , he backed off. Snake was there glaring at kooka on one side and me on the other . Me ; "Okay you win . " I let snake get back under weed mat . Kooka looked a bit stunned and flew up onto a branch . I kept my eye on him for a while , he seemed okay . Never seen a kookaburra snake fight like that before . They usually don't loose ( this one is a red belly black snake - aggressive and highly venomous ) ;

Indeed ! Its always good to define terms before a discussion . The issue is there is more than one function in the psyche that comes under the poor English language word 'will' . The same applies to 'soul', 'spirit', and many other 'spiritual terms ' . English is useless in that area .... that's why it has adopted terms from other languages ; HIndi, Pali . Also in psychology , a few instances it has even borrowed from German . We might be better served to list the types of will. Then anyone with serious inquiry might understand what some are talking about here . Well, without defining soul ..... that is one type of 'will' . I have extensive posts on it scattered about . The earliest religious concept of it seems to be recorded in the Zoroastrian Avesta and commentary under the term 'Khvarenah ' The instincts are coupled with the 'animal will' . Its a 'lower type' but of course essential . Like we have a 'hind brain ' and 'neuro somatic' (or 'reptilian consciousness ' ) . I would not describe this type as 'free will' though . . .it is highly and deeply programmed . That is .... that program come written at birth ... it is not one of those programs that are 'to be written ' ( see 'Exo-psychology' ) . Higher aspects of 'will' are probably more centered on (note : not 'in' ) the forebrain and neo-cortex and linked through the sahasrara 'gate'. Well, one of the highest forms of will; as in 'true will' and 'khvarenah' we come 'pre-loaded' with . This does not mean it will be obvious or even discovered by the individual , but also many are born 'instinctively' knowing what their true will is . A simple way of describing this 'will' is to imagine it is the particular path and purpose one chose before our incarnation. To be not on that path, will of course cause (eventually) deep spiritual purposelessness , lack of direction and meaning in life ( " What is life for , why am I here ? etc . ) alienation and depression ..... and eventually a very sick society . Conversely , when enough members of a society do it, its a better society . This was in the original teachings and they talked about a 'golden age ' where society and people became like this ; the origin of religious teachings about 'paradise' ( which actually means 'nice garden ' ; para diz . The correct term for this enlightened society is ' frashokereti ' and those so enlightened as ' sayoshant'. of course it all got turned 'religious' with an interpretation moving towards some triumphant single sayoshant' ('savior' ) coming and 'magically' creating (or through 'magical war' a new society ('New Jerusalem ' ) . All concepts that influenced further development in Judaism, Christianity and Islam . Just to be clear here I am talking about the earliest form , not the later devolved forms . Actually, all this existed before Zoroastrianism even came about . I have posts on here tracking the early development from Ice age refugia (probably Lake Baikal ) and spreading out at the end of the Ice Age ( Big Melt ) , into Central Asia where teachings then traveled west (Zoroastrianism to reform 'Pairo-tkeisha religions ) and east (into Tibet by 'Miwoche - The Central Asian Buddha , to reform Bon . I'd say sometimes we can act independently through will , but most of the time we don't -even when we think we are

Can't argue with that one .... as its prefixed by "I think " . However, if you ever decide to look further beyond that , try looking into the origins of pastoralism . Ummmm ... yeah . Apparently some even do that deliberately . Hate ? Again ? With your other posts ?
-
No . Because me being 'your hater' is just another lame excuse for you not looking at the real reason I am asking you for any validity , citation or back up, regarding the rubbish you posted . No doubt you will consider this response is , as well, because I 'hate' you . Hate is a state of consciousness alien to me .... like lots of the states of human consciousness .

Correct ...... but they listen to Lairg

Ridiculous ! Does a cow blame you for eating it ? YOU having free will ... did you do evil in having chicken for dinner ? The shark 'cant help itself' for its natural food (virtually anything ) so therefore innocent , but a person with free will is not evil for eating the chicken ... or are they ? And if diet and free will and good and evil foods are 'a thing' how to explain this They all chose by free will to get obese and unhealthy .

Here is your fortune cookie for today ; Attempted snappy answers that never address your original idiocy hide nothing . The next cookie will contain a list of all the shit you claimed , that you could never back up or prove , stupid things you said and how you said you were deliberately doing that to add to general stupidity , and some of your lame and blindly prejudiced judgments like trying to defend Trump (no surprise with that one , someone like you ! ) and making comments about trans people being men who 'cut off their pee-pees so they could do women's sport ' . And now you accuse me .... because I am calling you out .

Well, since ' Homer' dumped shit again and cant come back and 'hold his own up ' ....... I haven't read that book but its a tradition in Esoteric Freemasonry . I think it was introduced at a later stage , when people started doing 'the Grand Tour' and encountered things like Yoga . It probably came in through John Yarker originally ..... my memory is fading a bit on this one regarding names but there where two HIndu and one Sufi tantric whose teachings formed together with some esoteric masonry and some one came up with the idea of 'seals' being 'chakras' . It survives to day in the ritual form of 'The Knights of the East and West . ' It also had a journey through the GD stuff .... but I think that's a ...... 'wormhole' Theosophy would have lifted it from those sources , and perhaps Cayce got the idea from Theosophy . -
That is obscure but it reads like you are claiming that God gave Man free will so he could punish him and send him to hell for being disobedient to God by enacting the free will God gave to him in the first place . Isn't theology wonderful ! " I want outa here ! "

Problematic because you are trying to work out what is going on the real material 'now ' by looking at a presupposition that has never and does not exist ( IE. time travel ) Of course you have free will ! Ever been on a diet or a strict training regime ... and MADE yourself do things , even felt an internal struggle between yourself ... sometimes 'you' win, sometimes 'you' loose . I will go further ; who is loosing and who is winning ? Is it your free will to stay with an abuse partner , especially when you realize its come about due to your conditioning, perhaps from family . In this case , what is motivating the decision ? I think its obvious that in some cases we do have it and other cases we don't have it and in some cases its both mixed together . Different parts of us have different wills . the 'lazy part' might try to subvert your need (or will ) to train and win or loose . And that polarity is one of the simplest in us . To think of an overall all the time free will, we would have to imagine we are one single 'self' and close our eyes to the many indicators that is not so ... and go on being confused and wondering about things . The key is , who or what is going to control regulate and administer all those 'selves' . One function in the psyche is there for that purpose , however many just assume this function is 'themselves' . No, its a part of the system of selves and needs to rule its kingdom ... wisely ! Even then , it needs to deal with a tsunami of other influences ( aside from your free will and intent ) . One of the important things in magick is one needs to have the vision to see how far one can expand within the sphere of one's potential ... and to have the wisdom that when you 'but up against ' the extent of that potential , to try to force beyond that is illusory .... eg. by trying to develop impossible skills .... or trying to figure out things by imagining the impossible ... what good does that do you ?

Yet a major idea of following a religion is to give up your free will and follow their teachings . And a major part of the anti-religious movement ( eg. 'The Enlightenment ' ) absolutely encouraged the idea of free will and deciding your own destiny . But that history snippet is obviously at odds with your 'facts ' . .

Human greed and when its linked to destruction Here , up on the plateau they went mad cedar cutting , cut it so fast they had not enough ground crews to process it .... even built a railway but that could not keep up with the pace of the destruction . When it finally was stopped the area was covered with rotten ceder logs , they cut down so many trees , a large % were left to rot . Insanity . Nowadays people would not notice as they have nothing to compare it to . There is the supposed preserved bits , but they actually got logged to , they just didn't get turned into farmland or got covered with re growth . The size of the trees in there is nothing like what they used to be . But I always thought it weird how people lived in the devastation ... with the surrounds still effected by rampant large scale logging - no regrowth , mud and logging trash everywhere , no fields (as yet ) .... it looks like a battlefield , what an environment to live in ! - and it still continues .... I am a getting too old for 'active forest action' now .... but I had my day . Go on... put yer dozer through this then ( road blockage to logging site - Chaelundi ) https://www.nefa.org.au/the_chaelundi_story_30_years_on

The Lazy Hunters . A comment that comes from white prejudice ; an anecdote story in a journal by an early white Australian who observed an Aboriginal going about 'his daily business ' fishing . He commented that he heard that Aboriginals were 'lazy' and he thought this was a good example of it . he came up on a man snoozing on the bank of a stream , he had piled some stones up and made a stick contraption . The stones directed fish into a smaller opening , just big enough for the fish to get though , in this was a noose with slip knot one end and the other tied to a bent over and secured by the slip knot stick . A fish would swim into the 'race' , get its head stuck in the noose , try to back out and get its gills caught in it and start flipping about , this would pull and undo the slip knot and the bent over stick would fly up and straighten and flip the fish out of the water and up to the bank . The man would jump up and take the noose of and re set the trap and go back to snoozing . It seems the ingenuity of the ' automatic fishing machine ' was lost on the poor white fella . As far as being lazy ... ever seen a white guys fishing ? They never take a nap do they ? (Unless all that beer they were drinking got the better of them ) Anyway , I recently found something more ingenious ..... doesn't even require the nearby presence of person . In the past , these shapes in the desert ( Jordan , Syria , etc ) were somewhat a mystery But now we have been able to learn a lot more about them and they have opened a window for us into more of the ancient world and society of hunter gatherer , pre-agriculatural society and the vastness of it ... previously unrealized . Its considered they where used by hunters and not herders - herding pens or similar structures are way smaller . Kites can be vast. In one case the ingenuity of the construction is remarkable . The area seems too vast to be able to drive animals into it , a lot of people would be needed. It seems to have been designed to work 'by itself ' . It is noted that some migratory animals will follow a line , instinctively . It might be from the old trails on the migratory route or a natural feature in the landscape . Birds will do this as well , following ridges or similar but also highways and longer established human artifacts .Of course the antelopes could just jump the line of rocks ( and that will be used later in the process ) but ... if you have ever worked with a herd .... once the 'herd mind' is established its a 'flowing force' . Along the already established migration route , some of the kites work like a 'gradual interception' , the antelopes start running , en mass , along the side of the wall . Gradually a wall comes in from the opposite side and funnels the herd forward . In the one I saw an analysis of , just as the race entered the enclosure it went over a slight rise and around a corner , obscuring the enclosure from the view of the approaching herd.Once the herd flowed into the enclosure then it could be seen and realized . The antelopes then look for an easy way out .The approaches to the pits where also obscured , made on an angle so when an antelope approaches it can see a break in the rock wall , a small rise or ramp that obscures the pit, another steeper rise, stone or perhaps log on the edge and open free terrain beyond . Approaching at speed the antelope makes the jump assuming ground on the other side and ends up in the pit If the herd is stampeding then the flow would be more 'inevitable' . The system could virtually work by itself with no human intervention Other related finds ; Unusual 'marker stones ' with strange faced anthropomorphic figures . The strange faces are due to extra lines on them and some say these are little maps or outlines of the kites , specifically , they show the design of the next nearby kite in that direction . This means the arrangement of stones are not random in many cases and shows they could make a design in scale and also somehow execute it on large scale , in some cases they are near symmetrical .In this kite they were studying they found something at the centre , it was a life like scaled down model of the kite. And in the center of the model ( in the place where the model is in the life sized version ) was a shrine and in the middle of that objects rare or unusual had been placed . A round this where more of the anthropomorphic figures stones stood up and facing inwards , also in the center was a hearth , whose fire would have illuminated those figures .All this poses some interesting questions . How many people lived there and why did they need all these animals ? Either it was a lot of people and their habitats have not been found or survived or there was a massive amount of waste or export going on . It's hard to imagine export for the meat , perhaps the environment was conducive to drying it ? But there was certainly a market for the hides . Hides are often included as trade listed items coming out from Arabia into areas of the surrounding Fertile Cresent and also some potential trade in objects have been found like shell and other things .It appears that before Man relied on agriculture and still had a primarily hunter collector based society , 'industry' was possible and perhaps settlement - that did not require the advent of agriculture ? (sorry about the black background, I don't know how to get rid of that .)

You said it was Biblical - " The concept of 33% of fallen angels rebelling against heaven in the bible " cite the passage then in another book of the Bible that says 1/3 of the angels fell from heaven . I'd love to read it ! Says who ? Show some proof . I see and that is atheism is it ? You yourself said you where deliberately trying to be stupid here .... you are doing a fine job so far . Nobody of course, they will abandon their atheism and run to religion for help Ahhh conspiracies I wonder why you had not gone there yet . Your a fan , of course . The mods should feed you to Old Bob That might be a good idea as you are rather terrible at it . That's today is it ? Last week you were rubbing our faces in how stupid you were being here - deliberately Of the Order of the Good Knights and Nuns of St Francis ( Sir Francis Dashwood that is ) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Francis_Dashwood,_11th_Baron_le_Despencer and since you ask I also hold an ordination (it was never revoked so I still have it ) . -
Demonology. Why focus on the negative?

Let's tour wiki (as it saves a lot of typing ) ; " The daimon (δαίμων), also spelled daemon (meaning "god", "godlike", "power", "fate"),[1][2] denotes an "unknown superfactor", which can be either good or hostile.[3] In ancient Greek religion and mythology a daimon was imagined to be a lesser deity or guiding spirit.[4] The word is derived from Proto-Indo-European daimon "provider, divider (of fortunes or destinies)," from the root *da- "to divide".[5] Daimons were possibly seen as the souls of men of the golden age, tutelary deities, or the forces of fate.[6] " A tutelary (/ˈtjuːtəlɛri/; also tutelar) is a deity or a spirit who is a guardian, patron, or protector of a particular place, geographic feature, person, lineage, nation, culture, or occupation. The etymology of "tutelary" expresses the concept of safety and thus of guardianship. In late Greek and Roman religion, one type of tutelary deity, the genius, functions as the personal deity or daimon of an individual from birth to death. Another form of personal tutelary spirit is the familiar spirit of European folklore.[1] " " Socrates spoke of hearing the voice of his personal spirit or daimonion: - It isn't just the Greeks ; Blavatski had her King John and Yung had his 'Philamon' . We all have one , but not many are in communication consciously with them .... usually they work through the unconscious and seem 'suppressed ' or 'sleeping ' otherwise , which is the usual situation. Not really a problem unless some lesser part of the psyche 'splits off' and attempts to create its own identity . These lesser parts are better known as 'demons' and depending on their level or function can be malevolent . Which means , originally, they were 'out of place ' . Think of bringing inside the guard dog from the junkyard while you have invited people around for dinner . Or an excavator in a veggie patch . If that seems obscure think of your own anger and violence .... something not be used for accessed but kept in reserve for the appropriate time and action ( and if you cant conceive of that think of a home invasion when its up to you to preserve your family ; anger, adrenaline , swift reaction, etc might all be required ) . Like a crocodile that cleans up the dead and rotten from the bottom or the slow and sick from the shore, we too have forces like that inside us . Or even more subtle forces, when out of place or unregulated become troublesome and disruptive . There are more abstract forces 'above ' the tutilary spirit that relate more to the 'Superconscious' but they are more abstract and 'de-personified' ( meaning they don't claim personality or names but give identity as 'forces' or 'regulators' - these seem the opposite of 'demons' and have authority over them . The psychiatrist Dr VanDusen observed that when they are in 'absence ' ( sleeping, suppressed or ignored ) and other parts of the psyche attempt a 'take over' or an independence (or even a 'rebellion ' ) they can, if not overrule the psyche , at least 'pre occupy' it with their dramas, schemes, false information, insults and annoyances ( just like someone that is loosing an argument on an internet forum ) . However once invoked or 'awakened' these 'higher order' superconscious communications have hierarchy over these lower forces and can 'put them back in their place ' .... Dr VanDusen noticed that and recorded it as a ' rule' in dealing with these problems . It's a basic premise of magick So how is one to deal with this all ( if you don't want to 'deal' with it the usual way - stick head in sand ) ? Through 'magical technology' - available through some forms of magick or religion . One might then pose the question how to manage these forces in the psyche . The usual way is to go about believing there is one self with a will that decides what it is doing and then go about that . yeah right . But as some say " Well, that seems to work ... look how far we have got , we are doing pretty good ." Are we ? ... Are we really doing that good at managing things, ourselves and our environment ? Psychically we are collective . So who is going to run the show ? This is why one of the main symbolic accouterments ( or weapons or tools ) of the magician is the crown , you will often see them depicted wearing one . It is the magician which must rule this kingdom of internal 'spirits' or forces or 'drives' .... tendencies , influences , compulsions .... ( if you find this hard to comprehend , have you ever admonished yourself ? " Why the hell did you do that ? " or " I didn't want to do that but I had to and gave in ." - maybe it's violence or just eating chocolate cake BUT who is talking to who here ? Who is admonishing who or what ?) Of course it isn't as simple as putting on a crown and declaring your kingship ( many try , hence all the fake unbalanced egotistical masters and magicians in many areas . The tree of life titles offer some help here ; The first observation is that there is a male / female side , IE it has a polarity . Starting at the top the Magician has his crown . It is based on , or has worth in or was developed by the twin forces underneath it ; wisdom and understanding . . . of a higher nature , above the 'abyss' wherein lies 'knowledge ' ( Daath - not shown in diagram ) . Knowledge alone is not enough and can be dangerous without the other aspects ; Understanding is about the results of applying knowledge and wisdom is about creating those results within the right circumstances - the results of the knowledge itself and the wisdom in where and how to apply it and what will come from it . A King needs that . below that is mercy and judgement (or severity ) , very important for a king to have balance in . As it says in an important initiatory document " Remember that unbalanced force is evil; that unbalanced severity is but cruelty and oppression; but that also unbalanced mercy is but weakness which would allow and abet Evil." And so the qualities continue down until we get to the foundation which the Empire / Kingdom (psyche ) is built up on . In the hierarchy of the Psyche there are all types of levels , some have been briefly outlined above , but there are others which are 'autonomous ' ( a physical equivalence would be our autonomous functions like heart rate or respiration ) ; they care care of a LIMITED field ' by themselves ' without the need for higher or conscious regulation UNLESS they move out of place ( become 'rebellious' ) But also , they don't have a say in running things on a higher level and make higher decisions . Those forces are further up in the hierarchy . Its all spelled out clearly in the second degree initiation - life ( 3 degrees relating to birth life and death ) - including how to live your life , which includes , of course 'the vehicle' ; how to run and regulate your life ; " 1. This is the Constitution and Government of our Holy Order; by the study of its Balance you may yourself come to apprehension of how to rule your own life. For, in True Things, all are but images one of another; man is but a map of the universe, and Society is but the same on a larger scale. ..... 34 .... Such is a brief outline ... It combines monarchy with democracy; it includes aristocracy, and conceals even the seeds of revolution, by which alone progress can be effected. Thus we balance the Triads, uniting the Three in One; thus we gather up all the threads of human passion and interest, and weave them into an harmonious tapestry .... See thou to it, brother Magician, that thine own thread be strong, and pure, and of a colour brilliant in itself, yet ready to mingle in all beauty with those of thy brethren... " I realize hierarchical ideas are not popular like they used to be . Smart modern people just do what they feel like and justify and rationalize on a whim .... 'know without learning ' and act on what they think is 'intuition' , all the time praising this approach and complaining about the 'hierarchical authority ' that long term learning and trial and error and resultant adjustment brings about ... well that's turned out real well hasn't it ? -

Ohhh ... your quotes gone ... anyway , it reminded me of the 'gateway' of Saturn - Binah on the Tree of Life , The Great Sea but also The Great Mother . The forces are collected * and joined together and birthed through the abyss ..... when the energy is coming 'down' , so she is the giver of life . Hence Saturn represents structure, order, systems and the discipline to keep it all together and functioning . But going up the Tree it is a dissolving , Saturn is seen as 'destructive ' pulling things apart, releasing and a death through the abyss and a rising beyond - death and 'liberation' from life . It's a perspective thing ; from 'down here ' we rejoice when the gate opens and life comes forth , but not when life departs and the gate closes over . -

Also then here is the quote you where referring to " ts tail swept a third of the stars out of the sky and flung them to the earth. " Rev. 12 : 4 stars . the number of religiously unaffiliated individuals, including atheists, agnostics, and those who identify as "nones," continues to increase in many parts of the world, particularly in Western Europe and North America. What you are seeing is a rise in the birth rate of places that have more religious people as the less religious people don't breed as much because they are not restricted in things like contraception and abortions . How did 'wokeness' get into your religious / atheist comparisons ? And of course we have never learnt anything from examining fossils Besides , if you can remember it was YOU that started digging up 20 years ago ; " Making those types of unsubstantiated claims is an integral part of how atheism lost ground over the past 20 years as well " Your own comments are irrelevant and ancient knowledge to you now ? I responded to what was happening in the last 20 years You then respond with a lame comment about me digging up fossils from 20 years ago . Your brain works strangely ! Nope, I don't consider your view of it new at all . Its about to increase actually .... due to the current forces in the greatest country in the world and its illustrious leader .... but I am not allowed to talk about that here . NO , they got banned for being inconsistent argumentative dorks that could not hold their end up in a debate and used all those BS tactics people use in a discussion when they cant address the facts presented to them reasonably, then they start playing games and insulting the person because they are loosing their faith based arguments . people like that , of course , cant help themselves and inevitably they tried it on at least one moderator here and then 'ended up being banned ' Take that up with the moderator team . Its not my issue . Got any thing else ' on me ' ? . -
