A huge one did yesterday , near by. A friend was here and first we heard this huge groaning creaking splitting noise, we looked at each other ...... then the sound of branches smashing, other trees being squashed, ripped, etc . We both winced waiting for the huge WHUMP as it it hit the ground but ...... nothing ..... gave each other a curious look ..... nothing . That means somewhere out there is a huge tree half suspended by the canopy that could come down any other time . I am reminded of two other occasions , one across the road nearby last week , it had split vertically nearly 3/4 of the way down with half a tree lying across the road and the other half still standing . Another time , fine day, no wind at all , I hear a huge crash , go out and look down the little hill from my yard to the road and there is a huge crown of a tree on the road . About 20 metres into the forest is a tall trunk broken off at the top - whaaaa ? ? ? I posted about this some time back ; another time I hear a huge devastation, again, no wind , forest being smashed , tees coming down - EXACTLY the same as the noise a dozer makes when it is clearing forest , but without the dozer or any other mechanical noise ? ? ? I went for a walk, could not find any sign of that noise , no dinosaur tracks , nothing ! One more : This time it HAD been windy , VERY windy , dangerously windy . After wards I went up on top of the escarpment to the Never Never ( a small cleared patch at the end of a dirt road, with a picnic / emergency shelter , a set off point for adventurous bush walkers that want to go 'over the edge' ) The small parkland around it has some HUGE old Hoop Pines around it . So I am walking across this small 'park' and there is a HUGE crater in the middle of the grass , then another one ???? I went to go beyond the shed to get a view over the edge of the escarpment and there is line of trees , similar size that are snapped off 3 or 4 metres above the ground ! WTF is going on ? I walk to the other end of the clearing , around some bushes and there on the other side of the park is a whole huge hoop pine , on its side , tap root and root ball still attached- 'plucked' out of the ground . Then I find another one , the tops of the broken trees scattered about , some 50 metres into the forest . It gets 'windy' up there ! Guy at work used to call it 'kerosene weed' . Errr ... I feel a bit disappointed that Seeking got banned . The one with me and three leaf was one of those ongoing forum arguments where one chooses to use 'tactics' instead of reasonable debate, Q & A , response, citations, etc . And eventually 3 leaf did a fake misquote as an extension of his ongoing tactics . Seeking just seemed to be in a smarmy mood or something and was posting a bit gnarly and probably went to far ... the 'comic' could have been posted UNDER the quote box instead of in it ( and I hope it wasnt a mistake that it went in the quote box ) . But I dunno , maybe you guys talked to him about it ? But 'ban hammer' doesnt really sound like a discussion . I have done it myself , to save space ; sometimes I will quote a whole post and highlight one small bit of it I want to respond to , other times I will just delete it and add ................. either side . In other forms of writing this signifies 'part quote' . What is worse is my dodgy computer has 'cursor jump' and can randomly insert part of text elsewhere , happens so often and for so long I just get used to correcting it . And yes, sometimes , some of my text I am trying has jumped into a quote box I had up on the page ! I have seen that twice and a third time , weeks after , I had missed it when it happened and saw it on a reread later . Ummmm .... so if you see something like that from me .... maybe check first instead of 'instant ban hammer' thanks . here is what 'cursor jump' looks like, uncorrected ; You have been happily typing away , you look down at the keyboard and keep typing and all oen cursor has jumped to another part of the text. f a sudden the frigg ( ' and all of a sudden the friggen cursor has jumped to another part of text. Ahhh, thats becasue it doesnt make it go away . The situation I described above seems more like a transitory bribe . 'Children of millionaires' ..... My Ex ! I know all about it . ( She dumped me in a nasty way , lost her inheritance and then I got one , totally out the blue Thats how things seem to work in the 'my' Universe . ) . Yes, many humble people are happy , I think the vacuum left in their ego allows a space for happiness to enter ? The happiest ( I mean Happy / fulfilled / at peace / excited / ' naturally suited to' .... that unusual combination of things a 'satisfied being' manifests ) people I have met are people that are doing the thing they love the most and are getting paid for it ie. as their career ). Or indigenous people, that seem to have not much materially , but have a deep spirituality and know their individual place in the world . However displaced indigenous that have this stripped from them can sink into deep depressions ( just like 'westerners' do under the same conditions ) .

Perhaps transitory . I remember watching a movie long ago . Some guy was working on an emergency hotline, people would ring up that had 'dire need' . One night, someone rings up ; ' I have had enough, I am going to kill myself ." The other offers him $50 bucks not to do it . No . So he keeps upping the amount until ..... ' Yeah , okay . " But thats a movie . This solution is more of the band aid type. It would not last IMO, and if the person is still depressed and unbalanced , what are they likely to use that money for ? IMO the root of depression is 'soul fulfillment ' not knowing and not practicing/fulfilling the reason / path / expression we came here for ; one's 'True Will' , Khvarenah .

I do. And also I say we understand the subjects you mentioned and alluded to . Your problem seems to be that you present your personal and unique take on certain things pertaining to your own psyche and then attribute them to those things . When we say, no, that is not the correct definition of those things and processes , you seem to think we are denying your experiences or not understanding the things YOU are attributing them to . You cant seem to get this , so i will offer an example . A; I wake up each morning with a stiff neck , I think I have impetigo . B; Impetigo is a skin rash / syndrome. You probably got a sore neck in the morning from the way you are sleeping , try changing your pillow . A ; No. Its impetigo ..... impetigo means a sore neck. You dont understand me nor believe what is happening to me . A; (being 'nice' ) Ummmm, no, stop being stupid, read up on it, get an education, and try and address and fix what is actually causing the suffering . OR A ( being an arsehole ) Ohhh , you probably right , here rub some of this impetigo ointment on your neck ( he he he ) .
