  1. O Thank God !

I say 'thank God' as a commonly understood expression .... like when feeling relived that another child has NOT been abducted but found safe . I dont thank God for each good day though..... I thank ' Big Mum' each day , as soon as I awaken . 'Big Mum gives me whatever I need and ask for ..... I am feeling rather spoilt 'Thanks 'Big Mum' .... she a Birrahgnooloo Dirawong ; Sky Mum; Big black snake . river in the sky , all her chidlren camped along the bank, you can see their campfires at night . Earth Mum; Give you all you need ; place to live , food, water , knowledge, special powers . .... Our own Mum give you life !
  2. O Thank God !

I have been following this news story, with some trepidation and angst . There have been a few cases of missing or abducted little kids over the years , some with horrible results , or no results at all . A little boy , went missing a couple years back, south of here . Someone knows something, its rather heart wrenching to see the poster of him, innocent cute little kid in his spiderman outfit ( what he was wearing when ( probably ) abducted . There are some VERY SICK people out there . Well, we had another one about 5 days ago ; 3 year old boy, parents and him moved to new house in country to 'escape dangers of covid in city . Then he goes missing . HUGE police search , nothing ... nightfall , the next day still nothing . It gets cold, rain sets in, then heat . Imagine how the parents felt ! Mon was pleading on tv . After 4 days most of us where fearing the worst - police where dam diving , a 'suspicious car' was being examined .... Then after 4 days , last night a news bulletin comes on , and I am watching in dread ..... ' I dont think I can watch this .....' but then ; sitting in a creek drinking water . Dad ; "He's got some nappy rash, he's been bitten by ants, he's fallen over — but he's alive," he said. https://www.abc.net.au/news/2021-09-06/missing-boy-aj-elfalak-found/100436338
  3. Mysticism

The crucial point has been missed - repeatedly ! So there is not point in repeating the same sources , even if they do provide a solution . Mysticism has its pitfalls , but that does not negate the value of the process. Many people have been 'disturbed ' or 'disrupted ' , primarily , by the wrong approach . Crowley stated it VERY clearly ; 1. This book is very easy to misunderstand; readers are asked to use the most minute critical care in the study of it, even as we have done in its preparation. 2. In this book it is spoken of the Sephiroth and the Paths; of Spirits and Conjurations; of Gods, Spheres, Planes, and many other things which may or may not exist. It is immaterial whether these exist or not. By doing certain things certain results will follow; students are most earnestly warned against attributing objective reality or philosophic validity to any of them. 3. The advantages to be gained from them are chiefly these: ("a") A widening of the horizon of the mind. ("b") An improvement of the control of the mind. 4. The student, if he attains any success in the following practices, will find himself confronted by things (ideas or {13} beings) too glorious or too dreadful to be described. It is essential that he remain the master of all that he beholds, hears or conceives; otherwise he will be the slave of illusion, and the prey of madness.
  4. O Thank God !

    Now you have taken to colouring in MY posts when you quote them ! getting a bit bored , eh ? here ya go ;
  5. Iron Ring training

Wow ! Those magic rings seem to have super magnets that turn on and off .... like when an axe or a sword strike is 'blocked' with the forearm perpendicular to the angle of attack ! They all bunch together and do not separate ... yet at other times they jungle up and down the arm - separated . Maybe they could be used as a training aid of sorts ... considering their weight . I prefer the more sensible use of 1 ring ; and many of these strikes can be done with the ring still on the wrist . However if I ever have to fight anyone wielding a ring .... I much prefer ; and I am prepared to die in that fight ! ( via snu snu , that is )
  6. O Thank God !

I ' went missing ' as a little 'un ; the families in my street joined in the search . I was found down the end of the street , I had somehow got myself and my tricycle through a wire fence, up a steep bank and was happily peddling along an ( active ) train track ; " Choo - choooooo ! I'm a train ! " . Only time I got a paddling .... to 'remember never to do that again ' . It appeared to have worked .
  7. What made YOU laugh today/tonight ?

Friend gave me ( for some reason ??? ) a jar of pickled limes ; limes, water salt and a collection of chemicals .... well, thanks a lot ! On the back it had a picture , 'serving suggestion' ; two limes on a white plate .
  8. Mysticism

This ^ can be a very healthy and happy attitude to have about life . Errrmmmm .... the first part of your statement does not require this second part . Maybe the Gods want to also expereince ( through us ) liberty, rebellion, freedom ... even 'disobedience' ? You have gone from talking of " Gods " , to now 'God' , I am wondering f the significance of that can be seen ? In this case 'war' would be 'inspired' by a / the God , Mars / Ares . Servant is a bad analogy ... before one knows it , with that attitude , one could slip into being a 'slave of the Gods' . Its a good idea to look into some of the concepts of 'spirit hierarchy' to see where we fit in ( on the one hand ) or to have a map of the psyche and its territory , eg. https://kardecpedia.com/en/study-guide/2/the-spirits-book/114/book-twothe-spirit-world/chapter-ispirits/spirit-hierarchy or https://swedenborg.com/kindsofangels/ https://anthroposophy.org.uk/the-spiritual-hierarchies/
  9. The Cool Picture Thread

    " But it is ! ..... it's my 'model cucumber . " " Oh ..... don't t give that ! "
  10. What made YOU laugh today/tonight ?

White flags do not work for pirates .... but that will .
  11. Mysticism

with all this trouble from demons , one has to ask .... why did you choose that screen name ? Why Helpfuldemon ? Why not Persecutingdemon or something similar ?
  12. What should we do now ...... O Steve ? .... let me guess
  13. Mysticism

Errr , yeah, I should have guessed that answer . I think what we have here is someone who is so used to being a passenger in the car, they never learnt to drive it, nor will consider that they could . Good luck with .... whatever .
  14. Gosh! I think I am becoming a Chela ... everybody needs someone to look up to . In times like these .... we need a Steve on the internet
  15. Mysticism

What if you tell them that you are no longer going to 'respond' if they dont start replying to what you say . - bu you are not going to do that , are you ?
  16. Mysticism

They cant even answer as to what THEIR OWN name is ! That is magical evocation 101 .... and vanDusen observes this as well . If the di give a name for themselves, then it can be analysed , to get their 'I.D.' , 'flavour' , hierarchy , etc . ''Divine'' or 'good spiritual beings ' or 'hallucinations of a high order' do not give names to themselves , they may state a title or an office or a force eg " I am the force of living water " . VanDusen also acknowledges this .... by the way , his acknowledgements come from what he found out in his clinical trials and interviews with patients and their 'hallucinations' .
  17. Mysticism

They are also VERY good positive questions for examination , especially the bolded ... this is crucial !
  18. Mysticism

and that is also taken into account by Dr Van Dusen ! The remedy involves seeing other forces in the psyche as real too ! The 'Higher entities' or in psychiatric terms ' the higher order hallucinations ' - dont be fooled by the use of the term hallucination here , and in Van Dusen's work . If you actually READ the article you know what I mean . or if you have read it , it has not sunk in in any way at all . I guess YOU have to decide if you really want to change the way you are , or are you 'comfortable in your torment ' ?
  19. Mysticism

He had a sympathetic enough view to spend his life helping them and trying an approach that no one else would - that is ; giving them some validity . This is why you confuse me , you seem to be refusing input from that article ; dismissing it , not actually reading it , etc , he is saying to us that it IS a lot more than hallucinations and 'unusual beliefs ' you didnt seem to understand the CONTEXT of that citation . Oh well ; ' can lead a horse to water .......'
  20. Mysticism

many of the questions you have asked are answered in that article , including remedies - which is why I originally drew your attention to it . But, somehow, it doesnt seem to have 'clicked' with you . Its not about 'God's taking an interest' in you , it is immaterial if you are 'simple' or complex, 'not very educated' or highly intelligent , rich or poor . 'Average' ... happens to 'the best and worst' of us : " The average layman's picture of the mentally ill as raving lunatics is far from reality. Most of these people have become entangled in inner processes and simply fail to manage their lives well. ... aside from occasional odd bits of behavior, the patients have most of their powers and appear like almost everyone else. ... " Most would be like the patients on the hospital grounds who strike the visitor as not unlike themselves. A conversation with one of these patients might indicate to the visitor that the patient has an unusual set of beliefs—for instance, that he is kept in the hospital by a gang of thieves, or that ordinary clouds are radiation pollution. In many, even unusual beliefs would not be apparent. "
  21. Collecting Unexpected Consequences

Its like you want to punish some arsehole for doing burnouts in their car on your front lawn , by letting their tyres down .... but that would just stop them from leaving . " I will help you pack your bags and carry them out to the taxi for you ." - what a 'nice' man .
