Indeed , malice arises in angra mainyu ... its a state of mind . And it is bought about like all angra mainyu 'negativity' due to bad habitual behaviours .

No it isnt , it was a joke , but see below MY dreams of harems ? Thats an assumption . I used to have a rather nice little harem when I was younger .. no dream . And you are right , I didnt get to 'run' it . It was all by their choice ; " Not enough good men around ' I was told . They must have missed " Men who don't have their heads full of what don Juan called "violent dreams" . They chose me . I gave up 'choosing women' long ago, I leave the choice up to them , otherwise its too complicated : " You choose what happens ... you choose when you want to have sex and I will adapt to need or abstinence , you choose where to go out .. you choose what to eat ... OH ! so fewer arguments ! " Fewer " ? Yes , eventually : " I am sick of deciding everything YOU pick where we will go out to for dinner . " "Okay , Vietnamese place . " ..... " but I dont like that place ! " (and that was before I had a Latino GF ... which is even more fun ;

Sumer: the "black-headed" vs. the "red-faced"
Nungali replied to Taomeow's topic in General Discussion
I love a bit of GT ... but Sweatman is another story ! Right at the beginning his idea seems based on a false or at least 'unexplained premise' about the Pleiades . he says : " In ancient mythology the Pleiades are often linked strongly ( his emphasis ) with small birds like chicks or doves because .... thats how they appear in the sky ( virtually said 'under his breath' ) . In various mythologies they are also associated with cosmic disaster , with death and excessive warfare darkness and extended cold periods . . . all signs they are linked to the Youger Drayas event ." With no citations Are we supposed to take that at face value ? Lets look at some 'ancient myths' about Pleiades then ; Surely most of us know the myth of the Seven Sisters ... thats the Pleiades and certainly the most popular one , yes in its Greek form they change to doves , thats one correlation to the above . The Seven Sisters are also known as the âWater Girlsâ or the âIce Maidensâ, due to their association with water, be it seas, rivers, rain, hail, snow, ice or frost . I say its a bit of a stretch to link that to " In various mythologies they are also associated with cosmic disaster , with death and excessive warfare darkness and extended cold periods' actually the younger DRYAS where DRYER , so these sisters being associated with water could indicate the opposite of a Younger Drya association And he says they are associated with birds because thats how they appear in the sky ??? The association is because ; " To protect them from Orionâs relentless amorous advances, Zeus changed them into a flock of doves ." " For millennia the Seven Sisters of the Pleiades, immortalised in the famous Pleiades star cluster, have been objects of wonder and fascination across the globe. They have been the subject of myths and legends in almost every culture on the planet. Tales of the Seven Sisters have been passed on by word of mouth, and through poetry, art, music and architecture, by Greeks, Aborigines, Chinese, Native Americans, Egyptians, Persians, Indians and Polynesians, to name but a few. " Native Americans the Kiowa tribe were moving south for the winter, when they camped by a stream where there were many bears. One day, seven young girls were playing further along the stream when suddenly some of the bears began to chase them. The frightened girls leapt onto a small rock and asked the Great Spirit to protect them. The Great Spirit heard the girlsâ cries and made the rock grow upwards, with almost vertical sides, taking the girls with it, and leaving the bears unable to reach them. The bears however continued to claw away at the rock, leaving deep scratch marks and making it grow even taller, pushing the seven little girls into the stars. The Western Mono Indians believed the Pleiades stars represented a group of wives who were excessively fond of eating onions and were thrown out of their homes by angry husbands! Repenting in their loneliness, the husbands sought out their wives, but in vain. They had wandered into the sky and become stars. To the Blackfoot tribes of Alberta and Montana, the stars were known as The Orphan Boys. The fatherless boys were rejected by their tribe but were befriended by a pack of wolves. Saddened by their lonely lives on earth, they asked the Great Spirit to let them play together in the sky. As a reminder of their cruelty in contrast to the kindness of animals, every night the tribe were afflicted by the howling of the wolves that pined for their lost friends. Aboriginal Legends Aboriginal tribes from the Northern Territories call the Seven Sisters the âYunggarmurra Water Girlsâ. The sisters are regarded as the beholders of beauty and possess the magic of love. Their father, whom they called Dunia, was transformed into a crocodile to stop his incestuous ways. The Aborigines also believe that the stars wear a crystal covered âcoatâ which explains why they shine so brightly. The Hindu Legend The Pleiades are collectively known in India as Krittika, the wives of the seven wise men named the âSeven Rishisâ or âSeven Sagesâ, or the six mothers of the war god Murugan who developed six faces, one for each of them. (here we have a single war reference ) Japanâs Six Sisters The Pleiades in Japanese culture are known as âSubaruâ and are usually referred to as being seven stars. âSubaruâ also means âuniteâ or âunityâ in Japanese. However, when the car company Subaru chose the name for their business, they decided to depict only six stars in the company logo, supposedly because only six of the stars are visible to the naked eye. " cosmic disaster , with death and excessive warfare darkness and extended cold periods " ? ? ? Oh yeah .... and only 6 girls are visible with the 'naked eye ' . Even during much more recent times in Japan ; In Japan, the constellation is mentioned under the name Mutsuraboshi ("six stars") in the 8th-century Kojiki " So, how did the G.T.ians see 7 ? and 2 birds means Pisces ??? "Pisces has two fish . " These aint fish they are birds ... but there are two of them, so must be pisces .... whaaaat ? Are we also assuming the GTians mapped clusters and asterisms in the same groups we do ? Now there are 3 birds ... but lets break them up into 2 groups ... one group of two , and two birds are Pisces ( ) and the other one probably represents Pleiades , as there is one of them . ( WTF ? ) .... " which therefore links them to the Younger Dryas impact " Doesnt this seem obvious crap ? He changes boundaries and associations as he sees fit to support hos cart that is before his horse . Regarding Sweatman's constellational correlations : " In the new article, Sweatman decries the mainstream understanding of astronomical history and insists (to use his favorite verb of negative connotation) that Mesopotamian constellations are only the latest possible origin point, suggesting that we are justified in believing constellations to date back 10,000 or more years further. It is not impossible that some constellations might have persisted in a general way over time, but examining just the differences between the Babylonian constellations and their adaptation into the Greek system (where they seem to have merged with earlier Mediterranean astronomical systems) clearly shows that there are enormous burdens to overcome in proving that constellations remained unchanged for longer than any other piece of knowledge in human history. Nor does Sweatman explain why Göbekli Tepe would have the same constellations as Babylon, given that other ancient cultures of the Near East such as Egypt had very different star groupings. " Sweatman has a lot of weird things to say about constellations. He claims that for 30,000 years, down to around 9,000 BCE Cancer the Crab was seen as a cat and Capricorn as a bull. Therefore, by adjusting the zodiac to match his preferences, he can produce any results he wants . Sweatman's current claims ; now see Göbekli Tepe as a âuniversityâ teaching a ârevolutionaryâ agricultural lifestyle to, basically, everyone in Europe, eastern Africa, and the western two-thirds of Asia: " For the agricultural revolution their religion inspired was propelled across the Eurasian continent and into North Africa. In fact, according to the Nostratic hypothesis, Göbekli Tepe likely represents the origin of a lifestyle and language that most of the world now adopts. It appears to have inspired ancient Mesopotamia and Egypt, as well as Europe and east Asia, including India. From these regions, most of the worldâs current languages and customs derive " [ The key words there are the âNostratic hypothesis,â a controversial linguistic hypothesis that holds that all of the language families from the Indo-European, Dravidian, Kartvelian, Afro-Asiatic and a few others share a common ancestor in the Fertile Crescent around the end of the last Ice Age. Most mainstream scholars of comparative linguistics do not endorse this hypothesis because it involves several layers of speculation, which can induce numerous errors - several layers of speculation, which can induce numerous errors seem something Sweatman and his pal Graham Handcock specialise in ( that and book sales ) he seems to have missed this point : Itâs also worth noting that there is no evidence that Göbekli Tepe was a centre for agriculture in the first place . The archaeological evidence speaks to a hunter-gatherer society. " All told, Sweatman appears not to have listened to his critics (who were legion in 2017). Instead of doing more work to prove his original (and dubious) hypothesis, he has instead taken it for proven and has expanded it beyond what any reasonable evaluation of evidence could support. He should fit right in on the History Channel and on the fringe history circuit." And also ... the whole idea about Younger Dryas isnt actually Sorted out ... see the vid in my above post in the hide box . -

He is amusing , isnt he ? * Dr Dilley's theory was very interesting ! Just one thing about him though ..... I thought , if his eyes keep doing that , sooner or later I am going to see a 'reptilian eye lens ' slide across from 9 : 40 to 10 : 10 * -

I wish I could find a copy of this film but I cant . I could not stop laughing , not so much due to what was happening but the anthropologists dumbfounded confusion about why anyone would be doing a rite like this ... he was stumped as to its meaning ... it does not make sense ... why do everything they did before ... then THIS happens ???? Poor guy The film is about a sweet potato ceremony in a New Guinea tribe . Its a staple food and revered . So during harvest they gather up special amounts of them and set them aside , its hard work for the women , who also have to make a special platform altar thing to put them , and the decorations, and the food for the feast , and dress up special potatoes an d wait on the men , who are important and busy putting onn their make up and adornments and practising their dancing ... and so on , and it goes on for days and after the feast , we get to the part of the ceremony that the anthropologist could not understand ; All the men have to now go to the centre of the ritual area and stand there ........ while th e women pelt them with all the sweet potatoes that are bad, rotten and unfit . They dont look happy about it either ... but , its ritual ... what are ya gonna do ? < shrug >

yes, in reading that part of what I wrote that you quoted, it looks like I am blaming the horse ! Poor old horse ! I apologise to all the horse in the world , past and present . Yes, we did to the horse what was done to us , and like I have said before , after we learnt to enslave animals to do our toil, it would not be long before someone thought 'if I can get an animal to do things I dont want to do , I can get a human to do all the things an animal cant. I think that part of the reason is around patriarchy issues . His assertions about native Australians seem unfounded and I havent seen any evidence to support it . The other side of this is that even with the above scenario I outlined , fatherhood and paternity my be very different from its form in latter human societies . In all the Australian Native cultures I am familar with , in a way , yes, all the men in the tribe are 'daddy' .... in a way . There is also a great relationship with Uncles and Aunties , in sme cases more important and relevant than the father mother one . Maybe the 'good reason' nature does not make paternity obvious is ... really , 'you' only need a handful of men - for fertilisation purposes As now, we all know women can do everything men can do . In view of my responsible record regarding paternity , I feel I could also adapt to this arrangement .

Very interesting dwai ... and , another 3 that makes 4 Aleister Crowley would agree with the above , he spelt it AUMGN A U M (GN - silent ) . After years of experimentation my version is; Start with a loud and reverberating AAAAAAAA with a gradual transition to UUUUUU (or OOOOOOO ) and then gradually cut off the air as all of the air in the lungs is dispelled and close the lips to MMMMMMMM .... gradually fading away so the moment of the last MMMmm sound into silence is undetectable . For me the main part became the transition from the AAAA to the UUUU ( the transition and half way point ... where both states are accessed - between the " Waking state and all of our experiences in the waking state, the "oo" part which represents the dreaming state and all our experiences in the dreaming state " - the communication of conscious / unconscious - the left and right hemispheres of the brain ... where they link together ) . The end of the MMmmm going into silence represents the same as the magic bell - its vibration should not be stopped but left to continue until it fades into 'silence' (it never really does ) , it just becomes 'impregnated into the aether ' . For more technothelemicmagicka Om stuff ; " ... the Magical formula of the Universe as a reverberatory engine for the extension of Nothingness through the device of equilibrated opposites. " .

Sorry, I somehow missed your post and questions .. . and the citation Karl Ben-Jedi ( under cover ? ) https://pdfslide.net/documents/how-to-make-electrum-magicum-for-a-magic-mirror.html The addition of outer planets and adding and attributing bismuth is rather ...... ' unique ' , but being a bismuth fan, it caught my eye . Personally I would not add it . One can ascribe anything to anything else, what I am interested in is the reason given and its veracity and the validity of the reasons / arguments for it . Not to mention microscopic mercurial 'rain' condensing all throughout your working area ! . remember what happened to Jack Persons when he was experimenting with fulminate of mercury ! - he became ' dissolved unto Nuit ' . There is Jack ... under that chair , and under the washing machine , and on the back wall, and under the side window and ....

Many professional anthroplogists disagree with me , but I think it has some validity ; that we can observe many of the old ways by studying their recent known expression in 'primitive' tribes and peoples , eg. The Australian Aboriginals . In this case, yes they had 'warfare' but it was entirely different . The two sides lined up in a single line facing each other and went for it ; you battled your guy and at the end the side with the most left wins . They never went on to kill all the others women and children burn their crops and destroy their land . Everything was interconnected and would effect everything else . My view is, it wasn't until the horse (and in some cases the ship ) came along that made fast and distant escape (from your own consequences ) possible . War was more of a pressure release valve . Not a large scale attempt at genocide .

Pants . As Man Friday explained ' how I learned to wear pants .' . They seem to have been invented by the first horse riders / raiders - a symbol of the steal and run away culture that took over the world . Down with pants ! The pants of oppression . I am ready to throw mine away ... they never fit properly anyway and are entirely unsuitable for the male anatomy - regarding dick missiles , dont forget the space program ; https://sensitiveskinmagazine.com/big-space-fuck-kurt-vonnegut/

Look up metal and alloy suppliers . I get mine from a place in Sydney. I found them on the internet and made a phone call to arrange it and they opened an account for me . Its heavy ! To heavy for post . I get it sent by delivery and dropped off at a depot and pick it up from there. You can easily melt it with a propane torch or even on a stove top ( melts at around 280 C. ) in a saucepan ..... if you never want to use that saucepan again , a crucible is better . You need 99.9 5 pure for a good result . This will not give a pure result but it might be fun, and offer an insight into what Americans take as medicine Bismuth is next to lead on the chart and close to arsenic and antimony , all deadly metals , yet bismuth is relatively inert . You will need more than a blowtorch to make crystals out of bismuth .

Here is another story about a man that felt the need to 'wander the world ' . One needs to make their 'Journey' . It is a journey outward and a journey inward . (you can watch the whole movie on vimeo ) [ Also I am reminded of the import of this from the past , and in some cases the present ; the Journeyman . Its a stage and level of initiation ; Apprentice , Fellow Craftsman , Journeyman ( as now one has a trade and a way of supporting one's journey. It is considered important to share one's skills and travel so as to meet different cultures and experiences and 'broaden one's horizon' ) . Then after all this experience one eventually becomes a Master ( Master Craftsman ) whose initiation becomes complete, when he takes on an apprentice and teaches him to be a Fellow Craftsman .]

In the words of wise elders ; ' No , you cant come with us .' 'Why not ? ' "Because you would die . " .. and thats going with the Elders ! It depends where you go of course . The above relates to a crossing of part of Australia, regardless people have been doing this for 10s of 1000s of years . I did it once , in my youth, before I know what I know now . It is worth it for the wonderful feeling at the beginning ! Oh it was bliss ! for a few weeks , then hunger and hunting became of utmost focus . I have learnt a lot more since and been in admiration of the skill needed to actually do it ( that I have observed in some Aboriginal friends that have been taught how to do it ... there is a key word ! Back then I hadnt been taught much at all . As I said, it all went well until the hunger and the hunting problem ( ie. you need enough energy to actually go out hunting / gathering . Unsuccessful hunts make you more hungry and use up reserves, a few of those in a row and you are heading for trouble . Then there was the food poisoning , during a massive flood event and I was in an area that had been isolated by floods , no one about , just me . Anyway, I survived . Even to this day I am thankful for a roof and dry bed whenever the rain sets in. A wet muddy sleeping bag ( with added vomit and diarrhoea ) and a collapsed wet tent and hardly being able to move and day after day of pelting rain and cold aint too much fun . MY solution is to be fringe dweller ; essential comforts but minimal " insanity of the modern world " . Like all things human, even travelling alone , to be successful we need to do it within a 'network' of help and support , (we are social animals ). Even amongst people that seem to be doing it themselves ; main Aboriginal trade routes ; A friends son walked from Turkey to Egypt ... but he was ex- Army . . . . and that was with mod cons. People like the 'Bogman' ( a 'mud mummy' ) appeared to have walked massive distances (they can tell peoples origin by mineral analysis of bones and matching that to diet > plants > soil > geology > geography > location). Also they could tell (by further analysis of hair , etc .) that the copper hand axe he carried was made by him and the metal smelted by him , so he probably found and made the alloy as well . He had a sewing kit, leather and hunting tools .... we are talking a real survivalist here ; you have to be able to make clothes, repair and make tools and weapons, hunt and forage, weather survival, navigate .... etc etc . But its certainly fun in small doses . This is worth watching ; Charlie goes out and tries it 'the old way' in his own country ;

I am familiar with the subject but dont recall a thread on it . It has been mentioned in passing in some threads on alchemy and Tibetan ritual objects .... probably by me , although I am sure some others around here are familiar with the subject ( that is, if they are still here) . What aspects of the 7 metals do you want to start dialogue on ? For a start are you looking at the Eastern tradition or the Western ? I dont do much of this any more on a practical level , my favourite metal to play with is bismuth (one atomic number off lead ) as it is non toxic and has a low melting point and after a bit of practice and simple tools you can extract rather wonderful crystals from it in its molten state ; For clarity ; A metal is assigned to each planet ... its very basic magical correspondence . Some Tibetan ritual objects were made of a mix of 7 metals. That would be a 'planetary mix. When 5 metals it could be an elemental mix or maybe they were just short of 2 . They often 'cheat' and substitute , nowadays the most common ingredient is a mix called 'white metal' , who knows whats in that ? Old melted down saucepans and car engine blocks ... anything .... as long as its end product is shiny. In western magic tradition the 7 metal mix is called 'Electrum Magicum' . In both traditions you start with an alloy of gold and silver, made during an appropriate sun Moon conjunction. next the other planetary metals are added via a smelting process during that planets appropriate aspects , so the whole process can take some time . Paracelsus : "There are seven elementary powers or principles â four lower ones belonging to mortal and changeable things (Sthula sharira, Linga sharira, Prana, and Kama), and a trinity of celestial power (Atma, Buddhi, Manas), which is also called the quinta essentia. The four elements (lower principles) can in no way interfere with the quinta essentia. The heavenly and the hellish power is not obedient to the four elementary powers, but each section stands for itself." (De Mercurio, vol. vi. p. 378) Regarding amounts, various authors have made suggestions ; Bardon's are the same ratios as Paracelsus, just increased . Paracelsus; " ten parts gold, ten parts silver, five parts copper, two parts tin, two parts lead, one part of powdered iron and five of mercury. " - obviously its going to be a toxic experiment . But I note one alchemists interesting comment ; " Thanks to the discovery of other planets in our solar system and our ever increasing knowledge of the Universe, I decided to capture all of this to aid the experimenter into Hermeticâs by adding an eighth metal âbismuthâ. This metal can be molded into any shape and take into its self the Electrum Magicum wonderfully." One big problem is that the high melting point of the other metals causes mercury to vaporise ... nasty ! and worse ! " Stage one would be to melt the lead & tin together in a 4oz kiln. Pull out the plug and allow the molten liquid temp to drop down below mercury boiling point between 327 C & 357 C. Warning if the mercury is added at 357 C or above it will vaporize instantaneously and be breathed in or re-condense in the surrounding area. This part of the melting process is best done outside to avoid or reduce the danger to yourself or home. However, at say 345 C the mercury should be added as the kilns temperature is falling lower by the minute. Itâs very important to carefully pour the molten liquid metal into a graphite mold, before the melting point of lead is reached. Stage one is completed with the mercury, lead and tin successfully combined. Second words of warning âDo not under any circumstancesâ add this alloy directly to molten metal in solid form it will explode! The combined mercury will melt and then boil within seconds not an experiment to be repeated. "

Sumer: the "black-headed" vs. the "red-faced"

I imagined a swastika at the end of your post . Are you a secret electronic handbag Nazi ? here is an anti-Nazi handbag -
I have noticed that during our Hakatsuru ( crane ) form , several times after a deflect and trap with a strike and kick, for a moment the 'after pose' ( the end of a movement with a short 'rest' before the next movement in the series ) the pose is very much like with only two arms the two extended outwards ( the other two arms are shown in the position they take during the deflect . Some depictions of this pose show the raised leg in a different position But in our form the top position is more accurate - it is an unusual kick that 'goes around corners' , that is , during the movement you move off line and to the side of the person, the kick laterally comes around their body from the ' blind side ' like a sort of backhand 'roundhouse' - big toe into groin or inner thigh weak points as the hands lock and strike . Here is an old favourite ,

I think all traditions have struggled with this, regardless of their opinions on its worth or not . Hence all the differing complex terms . My approach is to embrace them all and look for the common threads . . . . without going down too deep into any one particular rabbit hole ( ie, the over complexity of a specific system . )
