Sumer: the "black-headed" vs. the "red-faced"
Nungali replied to Taomeow's topic in General Discussion
It seems the Sumerians had a different view of Pleiades . Many other cultures see them as 7 women or sisters avoiding or fleeing a man ; Northern Territory Australian Aboriginals ( 7 girls with an incestuous father, he gets turned into a crocodile. In another area they are said to be fleeing the attentions of a man - who is identified as one of the stars in Orion ) , Kiowa of Nth America ( 7 young girls fleeing a bear) , ancient Greek ( sisters and mother pursued by Orion ) . BUT the Hindu ( the wives of the seven wise men named the âSeven Rishisâ or âSeven Sagesâ, or the six mothers of the war god Murugan who developed six faces, one for each of them { sometimes only 6 stars are visible - like on the Japanese car logo , ie. 'Subaru' - , the asterism actually has a lot more than 7} ) . This seems to have similarities to the Sumerian version . Ie, these stars are related to as God's or good energies but also have another 'side' relating to 'Mars' - war * . It is possibly seasonal, as some peoples related it to seafaring ... both warfare and seafaring needed to be done in the seasons when the need for agricultural labour was less . * http://maajournal.com/Issues/2016/Vol16-4/Full15.pdf Seems we have a strong connection between the Greek and some Aboriginal versions of a similar story. But a different version of the story that is similar between the Sumerian and Hindu . Here is something cool ; 'magic eye' - cross eyed viewing for 3D of Pleiades motion through time ; full screen ; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pleiades#/media/File:Astro_4D_m45_cr_anim.gif -
" ... These are real, these illusion: I am of them, false or frail, True or lasting, all is fusion in the spirit's shadow-veil, Till the Knowledge-Lotus flowering hides the world beneath its stem; Neither I, nor God life-showering, find a counterpart in them. As a spirit in a vision shows a countenance of fear, Laughs the looker to derision, only comes to disappear, Gods and mortals, mind and matter, in the glowing bud dissever: Vein from vein they rend and shatter, and are nothingness for ever. ... Reprieve - cooler weather , light rain most of the night here . Maybe more today . I think Sydney got rained on too . Weather looks good for a few days - no heat or westerly winds predicted - which would be deadly at the moment . I heard the fire at up valley is mostly out ..... ? Still smokey smoulder smelly though . It seemed to have been a combination of favourable wind changes that blew the fire back onto itself and previously burnt ground , and fire fighting and the light rain . Phew ! (so far ) . Things in other places have been bad though , like the Adelaide Hills https://www.abc.net.au/news/2019-12-23/adelaide-hills-bushfire-has-destroyed-86-homes,-sa-premier-says/11822552 https://www.theguardian.com/australia-news/2019/dec/20/nsw-bushfires-rfs-two-firefighters-killed-south-west-sydney

Well, that isnt classical Egyptology or language , its 'Thelemic neo-Egyptology' . The word appears in variations ; Ch 1 1. Had! The manifestation of Nuit. 6. Be thou Hadit, my secret centre, my heart & my tongue! I am not even sure it has a name in Egyptian ... probably several names - these things often change in meaning and name (combinations) depending on time period and or location in ancient Egypt ; " The winged sun is one of the oldest Egyptian icons and symbols that appeared as early as the Old Kingdom. It is usually a symbol of royalty, divinity and power not only in Egypt but also in the whole Near East including the countries of Mesopotamia, Persia and Anatolia. In Egypt, it is a symbol of the soul and its eternity. It is often placed in temples as a memento to the people of their eternal nature. During the Middle Kingdom, it evolved into a symbol of protection and became a popular protective amulet during the Ptolemaic Period. Because of its solar reference, it has been connected with the sun god, Ra. However, it has been known as the Behdety, an ancient god later assimilated by Horus. With Horus, it became the Horus of Behdet.... ( this seems the closest form to the Thememic idea and Wiki cites ; Horus of Behdet (Edfu), Haidith in Greek. ) ... Similarly, it was known as the Great Flyer, which, in female form, was the cow goddess, Hathor. The idea of winged solar disc existed even during the prehistoric times in the form of a falcon wings spread all over the world. It used to be a solar barque that was attached to these wings, which later, in the Fifth dynasty, became the solar disc. During this time, it became the symbol of heavens and a solar symbol as well. At this time, Behdety became an aspect of Horus, who was then the protector of the kingship and the personification of the divine ruler of the whole Egypt. In the New Kingdom, Horus in the form of the solar disc is usually flanked by the uraeus on both sides (Nekhbet and Wadjet) when in flight towards battle. In one legend from the Ptolemaic period, Set and his allies attacked Ra after he defended Horus. This story is depicted in a grand pharaonic manner using dates and descriptions of the heroic feats and movements of armies headed by the divine ruler. In the battle of Edfu, Horus takes this form as he battles hid utmost enemy Set. It is believed that Thoth, with the aid of his wisdom and magic, turns Horus Behdety into this sun disc with the majestic outstretched wings. " http://egyptian-gods.org/egyptian-symbols-winged-sun/ I suppose we would have to look at Crowley's reason for the spelling .... Kabbalah and numerical values and all that . We also Have Nu and Nuit . And RHK is spelled in different form , with or without the 't' ending - Khu or Khut Liber NV for 'Nuit' even https://keepsilence.org/the-equinox/1.7/liber-nv.pdf I think its an odd Crowley ism to do with 'gematria' , but your 'indication' seems valid . It is something to do with their union but in the highest - ie. on the plane of 'philosophical physics' - all manifestation must occur within the time space continuum . Hmmmm ..... Apech and I are somewhere ( in the time-space continuum ) , arent we ?

YOU translated into English ? I guess, then it depends on what was the original word in Summarian as 'the 7' can relate to both udu/til/meĆĄ 7/ĆĄĂș/nu - âthe seven planets â OR mul/mul dingir/7/bi - âthe Pleiades, its seven gods" Well yes, thats how old school magic always worked ; "invoke heavenly authority for protection," "prevent harm by using the authority of heaven against them." . Any 'valid' old school astrological working would invoke 'God' first . -
.... 2 fires join to make a bigger fire , then several join to make a huge fire , (in just one area ) south west of Sydney. To th'e NW of Sydney there is already a ' Mega - fire ' ..... yesterday : " ... two bushfires in the Blue Mountains have joined together and the NSW Rural Fire Service (RFS) is not ruling out the blazes connecting with the huge Gospers Mountain "mega fire". Commissioner Shane Fitzsimmons said on Sunday morning the fires at Green Wattle Creek and Ruined Castle had joined together. The two massive blazes now all but encircle Sydney to the west, only separated by a narrow 12km strip north of Katoomba. " Last night on the late news I had heard that they joined together . " Efforts across the state have been bolstered by the Australian Defence Force, with support including airlifting people out of at-risk areas in the South Coast and Blue Mountains on Saturday. "Residents were evacuated from Fishermans Paradise and Sassafras on the South Coast by helicopters operating out of HMAS Albatross naval base at Nowra. " Old map - these are the two that spread and joined ;

Not 'against' the seven fold , actually , a 'spell' for control of their energies . Otherwise their energies just control as they will . To 'control' means to take the drivers seat in the car you are travelling in . When 'they' control you , its like you are in the back seat and the car is rolling down a hill - 'enjoy' the ride ! Oh ! I nearly forgot to say who these 7 are ; actually, we get our 7 day week from the PLANETS ; and here are 'the spells' 'against' them ; https://www.thelemistas.org/en/MSS/Bjorge/SpiritualExercises/12-hexagram -

Yes, choice, definitely. That can define the boundary between things like the above 'Snowy Mountains scheme' and the WWII Burma Railway ( aka 'The Death Railway' ) . .......... On another subject, I have been reading about 'Gwion culture' again , this time in relation to early seafaring , it makes interesting observations about H&G and agriculturalists ; In addition, they show the humans with tassels, hair adornments, and possibly clothing. Such body adornments are usually found in agricultural societies that have developed hierarchical systems of status. In a nutshell, the art shows cultural approaches that were not believed to exist until agriculture developed around 10,000 years ago. Unfortunately it is mostly censored ( yet agrees with some of my 'Old School Anthropology' views - before the era of rampant 'political correctiveness ' ) ; Unfortunately, the Bradshaws have been too politically sensitive for academic discussion in Australia. For example, when the conclusions of Graham Walsh were first published, they concerned the Australian Archaeological Association. Consequently, on the 18th December 1995, the Association issued a media statement declaring that Walsh's interpretations were "based on and encourage racist stereotypes." The media statement was signed by Australia's leading archaeologists of the time. The Association was concerned that talking about the Bradshaws as significant and complex made contemporary Aboriginal art seem insignificant and simple by comparison. It was an argument that was a bit like saying people shouldnât study ancient Egypt in case it made contemporary Egypt seem simple and common by comparison. Aside from being concerned that people might find the Bradshaws to be significant and complex, the Association was concerned that if the authorship of the Bradshaws were not ascribed to the local Aborigines, then they couldnât be used in land rights claims. Again, this was a bit like saying contemporary Egyptians had no right to manage the relics of ancient Egypt if it couldn't be proved they were the direct decendents of ancient Egyptians. -
He will NEVER recover from this ! Goodbye 'Scomo' ! " Protesters have gathered outside the Prime Ministerâs house again waiting for him to return from Hawaii. Hundreds of people have descended on Kirribili House demanding Scott Morrison hurry up and get home. They also marched across the Sydney Harbour Bridge holding signs. It comes after people were arrested and a girl was filmed being told off by a police officer when protesters took to Mr Morrisonâs on Thursday. They said they were going to camp out until he returned, before they got moved on. " Now we have 'Mega-fires' ; " ... it's the biggest forest fire in Australian history ... " "What happens in fires, they create their own winds and they create their own weather patterns. The flames are in the smoke and they're up in the air. There's nothing for them to be burning in the air. They're just up there. An aerial fire was now floating independently of the surface fire ... " " ... "The thing that's going to make it stop is when there's nothing left to burn. " ALERT LEVEL: Watch and Act LOCATION: Wollemi National Park COUNCIL AREA: Hawkesbury STATUS: Out of control TYPE: Bush Fire FIRE: Yes SIZE: 484541 ha The Gospers Mountain 'mega fire' started from a single ignition point. It has now destroyed an area seven times the size of Singapore. https://www.smh.com.au/national/nsw/the-monster-a-short-history-of-australia-s-biggest-forest-fire-20191218-p53l4y.html - cooler weather and some medium rain predicted for 4 days around Xmas in my area . I will go back home tomorrow .

Here is another thing it might stand for Each side is a triangle .... and there are 4 of them , and they all meet in one point . Its my 'law of manifestation' expressed by 3:4 again . At risk of being sent to the re- education camp ; in some ways 'the people' like ( the finished product) of large collective back breaking enterprises .... they like working together and achieving things, it gives their 'sense of identity' a confidence boost . There is a solemn acknowledgement for those 'sacrificed' in the process, maybe a plaque (in modern times) but that is a side acknowledgement ; everything from a 'group 'HO ! ' all the way through to the SMS ; -

The east coast of Australia is on fire and our prime Minister went on holidays to Hawaii . His spokeswoman said it was a good decision as he has his hands on the pulse of what the people want . Wot ? He also said firefighters WANT to do what they are doing voluntarily. Peeps be screaming him down , " My husband comes home totally exhausted , filthy and smoke effected every day for weeks , he has to leave me and the kids and OUR home in a fire danger zone to go and save others , they have little equipment , one uniform that either gets worn dirty and smelly the next day or puts it on wet from washing ... he does NOT WANT to do this, he HAS to do this, becasue no one else is . Soon him and all the others will collapse, what happens then . ?" We found out that the Russians have offered, transporter planes that can dump HUGE amounts of water and refill in moments . The offer has been there for years since or first bad mega fire disaster. They could have instantly put out many of these fires , they could have saved the town of Rappville from being destroyed , they could have saved Nymbodia .... stopped the houses from burning down NE of Sydney . But the government has chosen not to even respond to this Russian offer .! Instead the PM just took delivery of millions of dollars of small military fighter craft for the Air Force that drop bombs and fire , then pissed off to Hawaii.

Yeah ? I didnt know that about Mesopotamia ? " Husbandry has a long history, starting with the Neolithic revolution when animals were first domesticated, from around 13,000 BC onwards, antedating farming of the first crops. By the time of early civilisations such as ancient Egypt, cattle, sheep, goats and pigs were being raised on farms" https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Animal_husbandry [ antedate - precede in time; come before (something) in date. ]
