These posts seem to verge on the idea of 'intelligence' being a form or force , much like 'evolution' is ( and as evolution is seen as a conscious force in the quoted John Seed invocation above ). Its an interesting prospect and if one accepts it, we must realise that the 'evolution of intelligence' has now far surpassed its original human containment . Intelligence has evolved beyond what the human vehicle can supply. The artificial environment we created to express and allow the development of higher intelligence has gone way past or abilities and left us behind. ... < think > does that mean it will evaporate from its human vehicle ?

Most of us are familiar with the concept of the 'poor' , 'simple' tribal person or villager, that has little, but is beaming with happiness and fulfilment . And many are also aware of the depression , sickness and suicide rates of the people that have 'everything' . So ... what IS this magical ingredient that makes peoples and societies happy ? I have spent a lifetime studying in Anthropology, Comparative Religion, Psychology and Psychonautics to get an answer/s to that question ! Obviously the amount of trinkets and baubles has little to do with it . Yes, but not all those that find real happiness have to be isolated and 'live in cave' . But the world itself isnt messed up at all . People ? Now that's another story. And yes, they have messed up parts of the world We need more John Seed's ; Invocation of Gaia We ask for the presence of the spirit of Gaia and pray that the breath of life continue to caress this planet home. Not so much the individual, but when we get vast numbers of people that have been disassociated from their true expression , purpose and function and nature ( ie. their nature and nature / environment ) .... and then if it is also fuelled with some type of lower nature urge or 'patriotism' ... Havent done the welding yet, no rods in workshop , and I forgot to get some in town Still going through this chest . I am looking for 'mercurial stuff' . I have decided the ritual should be an invocation of Mercury - that seems appropriate for you lot - sparken you up a bit ! Mercury is also good for healing and medicine, the sciences and communication. Chuckin a stick of Mercury dynamite into DBs should do the trick ! But I gotta remember how to write up a ritual , its been some time .... < rummage rummage > Aha! One of my old 'how to' hand written books , its even got some ritual blanks in it , I'll use one of them . Writing it up PROPERLY first is the best way to ensure nothing is left out. The art box, can;t forget that, a crucial part ( we will come to that ) , the little chest with the magical tools and weapons < thinks> hmmm , what weapon should I use ? Lesson 4 - staying focused . (or is this lesson 3 ? ) Okay , I got the chainsaw back but had trouble with the pot belly stove .... that woman I lent it too ! Gawd ! She be all like " Its freezing cold and the wind is coming in through the holes in the shack and I got no money to fix it or buy warm clothes and the baby is sick and blah blah blah .... " What a pain ! So I just collected her rent and left the stove there . I have this brazier thing ... I''ll use that . Actually its pretty cool , its in the photo set of the rituals I posted here some time back . Now, where is it ? Oh crap, the leg has broken off ..... hmmmm ... there is some welding gear in the community workshop ..... I haven't done any welding since I was a youth . How do you do that again ? Hmmm ... better do some practice first . I'll do that tomorrow .... one must stay focused on the job at hand . What was it again ... Oh yeah ! The ritual ! Right , thats sorted, now where was I ? Lesson 1 . Be prepared ! Dont be caught out ! Oh yeah, that old chest. <drags it out again > Why did I keep that melted candle, I should have chucked it. Must have been a reason ? <looks at it ... contemplates > Oh, thats right , I decided to keep it as a reminder ! A reminder about preparation and 'unforseen events' . (You can tell when a would be magician is BS, they talk about stuff but its obvious they have actually DONE any of it. Like that candle. I spent soooo much time getting everything ready and prepared last time, no way I was gonna leave the circle in the middle of it - thats deadly ! So everything MUST be there , for any event possible . The candle melted and was unusable becasue last time I did a full ritual it was mid summer and got up to 38 degrees C. Thats why the candle melted . I had it all worked out, so I thought, except I forgot the mini bar fridge candle store, So I used the melted ones, and it was soooo hot that at night swarms of bugs came in and annoyed and distracted me and swarmed into the candles, So I had set up a fan to blow them away, But the fan blew the veil into the curtains and started a small fire. Fortunately I had a fire extinguisher in the circle. So the ritual was not disrupted. ) Any way, now its winter so I dont have to think about anything like that. But people do forget and these things need to be taken into account. Actually it has been very cold lately, I dont want to freeze my but off in there. I better set up that old little pot belly stove in there. And do a heap more firewood ... Oh crap, thats right, I was supposed to get the chainsaw fixed, I better do that tomorrow. Now, that old pot belly ...] Oh, thats right, I loaned it to that woman that had no house heating last year! Damn ! I get it back tomorrow when I take the chain saw in to the repair shop .

Right , now, down to business . Oh shit ! I never plugged in the recharger from before and its STILL flat !

That seat is a fav of mine Its a short drive and just a few minutes in from the car park ..... on a quiet day , it doesnt seem like it . Continue on a bit down the path and it goes to Crystal Shower falls. Another famous place Its a very pop international tourist area, so I tend to stay at home on holidays and weekends, especially long weekends, like this one - Queen's birthday, or some BS like that. Great in the off season though

Yeah , this one ; But that is at the national Park. I am further up the valley and opposite a steep escarpment to the north - Its WILD in there , very steep and primeval . The view from the top .... it's somewhere down in that hole ; The road down to the coast is fun . from 9:50 ... on a nice day that is ...not in the wet season ;

Or waking up in the morning and realising you are still alive . Or, as I heard an elder say recently ;" I just grateful to feel the sun shining on me . " I often feel grateful for shelter , warmth and food ... I had a 'rough patch' in my youth; an experiment of trying to survive alone in the wilderness ... that intersected with a huge long term storm cell and flood ( that isolated the area I was in, so rescue not possible ... what a trip ! ) Also I have had two major 'health scares' and several 'near death' accidents . It all helps Enjoy every day and every part of it while you can ... and be thankful and appreciative . My teacher then cemented all this experience ; 'Always say 'Bugglebear' - 'thankyou '...' I am good, thankyou' , 'thank you for this experience' . You want something , you ask 'Mum' , she will give it to you - if you follow Law. I have also found, one of the best ways to cement this in the psyche is to make offerings . Anything from 'preparations', to little feasts, collections of flowers, even 'spirit houses' . It had to happen eventually - so lets get it over with ... It can drop slide angle cut and has a depth setting .. It folds up on a stand with the two wheels and you just wheel it back in the shed - love it. I have been using it for the boards for skinning my shed - cyprus pine , termite resistant. The sealer oil was $100 a tin so I started using my old thrown out cooking oil collection I have been saving for 30 years A lot of curry spices in it, it has a tan / turmeric colour that has highlighted its natural grain and 2 - tone look . Looks great ! and smells of ( after I painted the wall then smelled it ) - cyprus pine .

Yep . I am not sure if you have read any of my posts on comparative religion and Zoroastrianism . In a few of them I show how many religious traditions of Bahai, Islam, Christianity and Judaism adopted certain core precepts from Zoroastrianism . As usual, the 'latterr' forms of scripture also seem to focus more on this and it is more clearly described later Zoroastrian Avestan and Pahlavi texts: There will be a final great struggle between good and evil in which good will triumph. The bodies of the dead will be resurrected, and the Last Judgement will take place. The earth will be purified by a torrent of fiery metal. Through which all mankind will pass. Hey ! Thats (sorta) how I cook my king prawns , can fit 3 on a metal BBQ fork (after marinating) with a long handle and open the door to the fire box and stick them in over the hot coals and turn them slowly for about 20 secs. yum ! Hmmm .... I just remembered I have an unbaked ham and cheese croissant in the fridge ...... , gotta go !
