Personally, I dont. I still ;play' and I still manifest. 'Play' is more mature now, it might take the form of practice, using the imagination to create a scenario. or if I do a house design, I will 'play' it using my imagination and make a model to work out the kinks. Damage to the eyes from sun exposure can take two forms: short-term damage and long-term damage. Short-term damage ("solar retinopathy") occurs when a person stares directly at the sun, and is a result of too much ultraviolet light flooding the retina. Looking at the function of imagination, it was our prime differentiation tool. Its what makes humans distinctive from all other animals and allowed technology and culture to develop. Not that other animals do not have imagination, its the way we use it. The distinctive human trait is not just as 'toolmaker' (as used to be thought) it is a 'tool designer for a future perceived use' - that is not immediately apparent and this applies especially so with a multi use tool, even if it is a simple shaped stick (eg, some woomera are designed to throw a spear, have a pointed end to make it a digging stick and a hollow along the shaft to scoop water ). This, and other early innovations where developed in the imagination ; a mental run down of what might happen and how to deal with it. Well, my neighbour / gardener overloaded my new trailer with old bamboo cut out of the grove. So it half slipped off the back and has made a giant tangled mess in the driveway. He spent 2 hours yesterday trying to get the overload back on ... instead of unloading the half slipped off load .
