  1. our world / earth as a simulation

I like to put 'specifically meant terms' in quote marks so actual 'nut jobs' dont start up 'insisting on me' those terms mean what they 'think ' they do . Nice change tho , most peeps think I am a nut job because of the big snake theory
  2. our world / earth as a simulation

Simply , It means ( and it SHOULD be old hat by now ) that someone was so impressed with the Matrix Film and its concepts 'they want to 'play it' . Its a mild manifestation of 'Daimonic reality' .Then people 'manifest it; in all sorts of ways ; fun , 'true believers' , internet sites, club memberships, fancy dress parties, forms of psychosis, money spinners etc. - Men in Black film had a similar manifestation ( there was even 'Men in White' stuff on the internet ; we reveal the truth about this alien stuff, not like men in black who suppress it ) . Its an interesting psychological phenomena . But in a way , 'our world' is just the perception of the world we are in , we 'simulate 'the this world / earth' (our interaction and with this environment ) ourselves. ' Personna' (the t pe or level of self that is created by the self interacting with their outward environment). Or even 'Mara' or Maya , if one prefers. Peeps been struggling with this one since there were peeps and they come up with all different solutions .... <shrug> ... s'long as they work . Myself, I prefer to think we are all part of the dreaming of a HUGE snake curled up far underground ..... in the middle of Australia , of course.

  14. Here is an old Aryan example http://www.mahavidya.ca/2010/06/08/the-asvamedha-ritual/ With the Zoroastrian banning of such sacrifices, they implemented other laws - to show their appreciation, gratitude ( dignity, moderation, consideration, so-operation, ' preservation ( 'ecology' ) , etc.The main animals which helped th ir society where cattle ( meat, milk, hide, other 'products', and their 'pulling ability' ), horse (transport and cartage), dog (friend and companion -including assistance in hunting ) had legislation in place to protect them . A working animal, in old age must be retired in a good place until a natural death, any animal that gives a product only gives that one product (dont eat a sheep you have harvested the wool from , or chickens whose eggs you eat, etc ), never eat a pet, or treat an animal you intend to eat as a pet, penalties for dog cruelty, you where even required to look after strays, and if a pregnant bitch, to raise its puppies ... and so on . It says a vast amount, on analysis, of the different mind sets involve here.
  15. Nope ! The species might though. Basically, if you going to kill to eat , may as well 'sacrifice it' (try to instil some reason , dignity, moderation, consideration, so-operation, ' preservation ( 'ecology' ) here is an early starter perspective For latter developments (for the 'Indo-European' ) I would suggest a look into very early 'Indo - Iranic Aryan Religions' and their later split into Zoroastrian religion (which banned the old animal sacrifices ) and 'Vedanta' . Thats a mixed bag ! Baptism, communion, confirmation, marriage, last rights, etc are 'sacraments' and have equivalency in stages of initiation ; birth, life, death, etc. Circumcision is an adjunct. Pilgrimage is interesting , what I find even more interesting ( considering 'old practices' is the process of 'Walkabout ' https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Walkabout
  16. Invocation methods and tools

'Tricks' . The mind loves tricks , so we 'trick the mind' . Its one of the two main ways of meditation (keeping the mind fixed on what the will requires) . But trick may not be the right word. One way is to meditate 'on nothing' or one thing. This is hard for many minds, so we set up an environment where, what can distract us, brings us back to our central theme . Eg. If the invocation is of Venus, the temple (or surrounds) are all in the 'field' of Venus. There is the invocation itself, which keeps the 'mind/mouth' busy. If the eyes wander there may be a statue or image of Venus on the altar, the incense should be of Venus, any music should be 'Venusian', the tools used , for Venus. Any colours, jewels, etc. of Venus, and so on. Sometimes when learning a ritual, cards, script or images might be posted at each quarter ( for remembrance and transition from using a written script ) . Generally the mind must also be persuaded . It needs to function in its right hierarchy; mind should NOT be 'running the show' , it is however a valuable tool. 'Ether' - 'Spirit' . Fire - Will Water - feelings, emotions, psychological drives, the unconscious, etc. Air - mind and intellect, reason , etc. Earth - Physical body . With most of us, we function like this factory ; the owner is away, so is the manager . The foreman is in a panic, trying to do his job and direct everyone and run the office, take orders, do the books etc. Dont try to stop him, he will get uppity, even rebellious. What is needed is the psychological equivalent of the owner and manager getting their act together and turning up and persuading the foreman (mind) that, although they are very valuable and things can not run without them, now, they can return to their rightful place and function properly ( well done ! we cant do without you mind ! ) . So, keeping the elemental hierarchy in order will help : 'Spirit' ( another complex rave, for now I will call it 'the origin' ) brings in a 'concept', fire / will implements it in the system, water 'feelings' see how it sits there , we might even run it through our unconscious ( 'sleep on it' ) , air / mind analyses it and decides if it is viable, and how best to achieve it, and lastly earth / physical body manifests it (otherwise it was just a 'pipe dream' ). Trouble is most of us have a confused concept of spirit, suppressed or misdirected will and unruly or damaged emotions and psychological drives, so the mind is thrust to the forefront . Anywayz, enough for now ..... where you able to maintain your focus through all of this ?
  17. Let's Scry!

Indeed ! The warning is about attachment to them, and being 'stuck' in them or 'viewing them'
  18. Let's Scry!

Its complex. And 'dumbed down' by non-traditional understandings. It’s an English word used to describe the particular cultural beliefs of the many different Aboriginal groups, and each language group largely has its own words to describe the mythology and the foundation beliefs of the people. And each group has an individual expression. In Bundjalung it has more of the meaning I was inferring in relation to your comment : " Nature (or evolution) has put a barrier between the world of our dreams and the world of our waking live, so there is reason to believe that we are more fit for survival when these worlds are kept apart." That is, they become more fit for survival by incorporating their 'dreamtime' in their waking life. And they see a link between being in this state of receptive waking consciousness and 'night dreaming' consciousness. But also everything is a dream as well ( think of concept of 'maya' ), that is the very primal and central first creation myth before the dreamtime ... all of this ( the world, environment, landscape features, me, you, etc ) is art of a dream a big snake is having. When he wakes up, me ,you , all of this ... finished . So even when awake, we are in a dream. The original word (and group understanding) the translation came form is tJukurrpa and is one traditional term used by several groups of Central Desert languages to describe what would probably be the religion and the Laws of the people, and in some ways a description of Reality. https://austhrutime.com/aboriginal_dreaming_tjukurrpa_.htm Scott Cane's ( see in link ^ ) book on this is excellent , he shows maps of these. He is very experienced and he asked some of his raditional elder friends if he could accompany them on one of these trecks . They simply said " No - You will die" . because he didnt understand the link between 'the dreaming' and survival in that harsh environment . Ummm ... I dont know of such a culture either ,. Did I infer somehow that there was ?

  20. Are enlightened people impotent?

and the view there is no point is also an assumption .
  21. Are enlightened people impotent?

In western magical tradition, this is known as the most dangerous path. Its very effective though. It goes through many practices from the 'assumption of God forms' through to full blown 'deity worship' . The danger is , one has to fully throw themselves into it and believe it ..... while still being in control and not becoming a 'full blown' devotee .Not being into it deep enough, it won't work. getting in too deep and you can can get lost in it . I have found it very effective, but always been on the 'in control' side of things .... I guess I am more of a magician than a devotee or acolyte https://sacred-texts.com/oto/lib175.htm
