Last night in NITV (indigenous channel) 'Lion' ... WOW ! What a story and a great movie . A five year old boy travels from a small rural village with his elder brother in India, but they get separated and he falls asleep on an empty train parked at a station. He wakes up and the train is in motion, still empty and he is locked in, for two days. He ends up in a far away part of India, Calcutta, he doesn't speak their language, so remains lost. He becomes a street kid, eventually ends up in an orphanage. They ask what village he is from but cannot find it (as he mispronounced it) They ask what his mothers name is and he says 'Mom'. Eventually he gets adopted, comes to Australia and lives there. As a young man he starts exploring google earth, trains, train speeds back then, a whole lot of stuff and calculations, but to little avail. Eventually, he recognises something on google earth, traces it all back and finds his village. He returns and finds his mother and sister after being lost for 25 years . I had a very vivid dream, riding motorcycle along a road, pine forest either side, then came to a cross road, the forest was still continuing up to the cross road, other side on the corner was a park and in the park was a small convoy of light army vehicles, some soldiers were standing around chatting and drinking tea, or coffee, they had a small fire going on the BBQ there on the opposite corner was a small store. Insignificant ... but curious in its detail and vividness. A few weeks later, I a am on my motorcycle trying to find a small town in Queensland, I must have missed a turn in my directions as I kept going and going and didnt spot the described landmarks, I had been riding for ages through a pine forest and decided to turn around and go back. There was a cross road sign ahead, so I continued to there ..... and .....t he forest was still continuing up to the cross road, other side on the corner was a park and in the park was a small convoy of light army vehicles, some soldiers were standing around chatting and drinking tea, or coffee, they had a small fire going on the BBQ there on the opposite corner was a small store...,WTF! I looked around and saw a sign 'Ravensholme' , and I had recently accepted raven as a totem (due to certain occurrences) and had one tattooed on my left arm. I havent a clue about the significance of this. I guess one could 'dream visit' a site , but the time factor ( the army convoy) really stumped me . A few times I have had dreams about a house or events in a certain house ..... seen the street in a dream, found the street in real life- but no such house in it . ?

Aussie kingfishers 'Sacred' Kingfisher Azure The 'King' About 2 weeks ago a Kookaburra swooped and landed at my feet as I was gardening, he nabbed a red bellied black snake coming towards me and wrestled it and beat it up, just 2 feet in front of me - saw the whole thing - then eventually, head first down the hatch - took about 2 minutes to get it all down, then flew off up (with great effort , 'under load' into a tree - thanks for that ! The 'magical familiar' location thing ? Yeah .... strong for me , a few incidents .... just got visitor , no time now, more later .

Really ? Can I have their number ? 3 'vigorous youth ' (in their late 20s early 30s ) all wanting paid work ; Tree clean up day ; 1 out of 4 tuned up . Clear the roadside so all can get their cars past without the bushes scratching them : 3 bailed out, 1 girl helped and me and her did it in 3/4 of an hour . Roadworks ; bobcat and operator turned up, all 3 lads 'gone away' (one still at 'Jedi School' ) Building my shed ; no one wants to do it until winter , a builder who has been staying next door, said he didnt want to build 3 steps up to a cabin, didnt want to do work here, so knocked me back, but has started working for this bitchy crazy woman building because she pleaded with him and whinged and harassed him ( well, its gonna be a fun job - serves him right ..... I pay well, am reasonable, and offer good lunch and snacks and beer at end of day ). Another builder said he 'didnt feel confident to build a shed . ' . Another said ; "You cant build it that way, the spans are too large and beams will not span it - cant be done - your pole has to go here . " - right in centre of driveway ???? I said " I will use trusses , I dont care about the expense, its MY money and I want it built like THIS ! " So he quit . You should see some of the private film I have of Kosei Nishihira ! I cant even do the first bunkai of the firstmove of his version of '54 steps' * he started off in seiza Stands up very fast, from that position, on one leg while at the same time the other does a front kick, as he is rising. This sounds the closest. I have been working through 'hakatsuru' kata ('Okinawan Crane' ) and in this version there is a move where the hands make a 'chi ball' and fling out to the sides; right hand curves up and over centre line to the left, left hand curves low and over centre line and to the right , as if rotating a ball. Then both hands are flung out, palms open to the side. I haven't been able to work out the 'bunkai' ( application). But I just returned from a trip down south, I hunted down Ted Lange ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hohan_Sōken - see 'STUDENTS' and https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nishihira_Kosei - last paragraph ) my current instructors teacher. And had a short visit and a rap with him ( we didnt have time to 'train' , maybe next time ) , aside from all the wonderful photos and stories, we went trough a few simple things ..... (and I wanted to run my 'take' , research, applications, innovations etc . by him to see if I was off or not ) including this move. he got me to throw a punch, as his right hand curved over to go around the top of the ball, it intercepted the line of my punch, diverted it and he passed my fist over to his left hand which had curved under (in application the movement seems shorter and the 'ball' smaller ), then ( the flick open the arms and hands bit ) his right hand flicked in and slapped me with the back of his hand ( softly) over my heart . Then he stepped away from me and did it again but this time with the back of his hand stopping before contact over the target, he flicked it really fast like a whip and stopped it suddenly and the hand whipped and 'fluttered', with a vibration. "Fish's tail' he said . "Causes atrial fibrillation. ' .... Then ; " Remember, after Hohan Soken, the changed karate to teach it to school kids, thats why the applications got changed and hidden ." I agree with the missile idea, but lets swap the payload from a nuclear explosive device to a contraceptive gas ...... seems a little 'gentler' IMO .
