" ...However his chief military interest was in creating his own personal regiment of extremely tall men, known to history as the “Potsdam Giants”. This strange obsession was not just a personal indulgence but also a perverse early experiment in eugenics. Indeed ! Note how he catches it AFTER it passes him . Tricky ! You certainly would not want to catch it like a football .

I didnt think a homo erectus would result in any 'propagation' ?
-
I think you are considering a different type of 'Homo erectus ' ?

So, when you light one candle in a room at night, with no other light, and set it up for multiple reflections, does the overall light in the room increase ?

Oh yeah, I forgot to 'ask' about the other part of that post ^ Peking Man dating suggests they are in the range of 680,000–780,000 years old. ( They are Homo Erectus Pekinensis ) Denisovan dating suggests they lived about 41,000 years ago. ( They are Homo sapiens Denisova ) So, with this interbreeding , did they have a time machine ?

I see. Peron Rants stuff is it ? Eg. " In my next post on the Denisovans I’ll take a look at how modern humans may have polluted their gene pool by interbreeding with this elusive species resulting in infertility Should you worry? Also in posts over the next few weeks I’ll also look at a highly controversial theory that suggests either Denisovans themselves or their descendants might STILL be living in the American Pacific Northwest among other places! " https://rperon1017blog.wordpress.com/2017/07/10/the-odd-case-of-the-denisovans/ ..... and Florida - I don't suppose you happen to know the names of those tribes ?
-
Thats the Denisovan in you .... they were a very patient species. And look what happened to them

Only two days ago .... it started playing itself I was having some trouble and a friend advised to just go with it and sit in forest tune into nature and let it flow - great advice ! (except its flooding and all my 'compositions' seem to have a 'raining' pattern ) Here is a piece of music I like , handpan with some extra 'clanky' instruments, a celesta , and some synth ...

and a pinch of Denisovan . https://genographic.nationalgeographic.com/denisovan/

I am sorta disagreeing with that . Evolution causes adaptation IN species , it doesnt cause change in species , or A CHANGE of species. That is . long term adaptation will not cause a species change. What happens is, species mutate ( the genes and DNA code seems to have an inbuilt ' freaky occurrence' after so many permutations. Also outside influence like radiation and especially 'sickness' (viral mostly) can cause mutation in genetic code. THEN the 'survival of the fittest comes into play ; a 'bad' mutation, they die out, a good one they are successful , a good one that just happens to match survival in a radically changed environment that knocks the other types out is VERY successful .

..... a bit of this, a bit of that .... ..... like a dragon

Hmmmm .... I suppose I did that too , up there. I take back what I said . .... Marbles is not of mixed race, he is of 'mixed species'
-
Of course you are . Unless you are a pure Bushman or other African. You are mostly of the race Homo Sapiens, but also have some Neanderthal and Denisovan and ...... ? , actually 'Homo Sapiens ex-Africanus' is probably a hybrid ... we came about originally as a 'mix' .

Nah . I think you need another drink

Why and how ? The latest on that is that we became better than nearly all other animals at 'running things down' , not just an initial burst of speed, but a long term sustained run, that eventually, lasted longer than the hunted. Less hair, sweating, the 'strange shape' of our bodies, etc. And , somehow. it was also a great design for living in cold climates. We just 'adapted' (not evolved) and used 'technology' , even to the point that we survived the ice ages very well and discovered an ice environment actually gave advantages, even following the ice when it retreated during the end of the ice age, and even crossing over to North America, through ice and ocean ! Thats a feat ! ( 'Down here' 'we' did it too, Tasmanian Aboriginals lived amongst highland glaciers during the ice age (but as the ice retreated they were too far, by ocean from Antarctica to follow its retreat, and as the ocean rose the land bridge to the north got flooded, so they got isolated there. ) https://www.theguardian.com/science/blog/2018/mar/14/why-humans-are-optimised-for-endurance-running-not-speed https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Persistence_hunting

And I am speaking to it and both of you and anyone else under this religiously generated delusion . Either word is wrong , in this instance. Indeed , 'Men' and monkeys are both primates. The primate programme is at the base of monkey and human psychology. When events turn 'difficult' so our evolved and developed skills ( for BOTH Man and Monkey ) seem insufficient we often retreat to our 'base programmes' . ( Once when the twins were mucking up I tried " What are you? Boys or monkeys? If you wanted to be treated like a boy, behave like one then ! - I had not realised how appealing the idea was to them to act and be treated like monkeys ! That sure backfired ! ) Thats the crux of my comment ; apes or monkeys never turned, evolved or developed into 'men' ( that is Homo sapiens ) , it never happened and evolutionary theory never claimed it happened . But certain religionists 'turned the phrase' that way, to discredit the theory ... it still sticks ! ( and general publications , like Readers Digest, and similar, still present it ; " When Man evolved from the Apes. " Man and Chimp evolved from 'Homininae' around 7 million y.a. Homininae and Gorilla evolved from Hominidae around 12 mill ya , Hominidae and Orangutan evolved from Hominoidae 15 Mill ya, - Saying man evolved from apes or monkeys is like saying your cousins are your parents .

Well, I hope so . At the moment I dont think so. I feel sorry for the young'uns of today, looking at the freedom I had in my youth . I see it getting eroded everyday. I have even stopped telling them about it as I decided , what good does that do . probably just make them more depressed and feel ripped off . I am now old enough to have lived through great times ( but young enough to have missed the Vietnam call up ) , to be frank, I am glad I am old enough to be gone and not have to watch what is going to happen . I hope you find your more freedom , good luck!
