I had to go back, I lost track of the conversation " "Are you seriously saying that all people born on August 23rd 1976 are intensely searching Hermits like you? " I said of course not, , the tone was due to the bolded bit - IMO no, it isnt serious - or quiet like that. The why : ( I assumed you thought the same, thats why I didnt bother explaining ) because that is a generalisation, like saying 'I am a Leo ' , IMO one cant divide human uniqueness into 12 categories, one can roughly group into 12 types, or 2 types or 64 types. Also, there are a lot of things and potentials associated with the Hermit card, depending on other influences, as in astrology, different things may be drawn out. Or they might be intensely searching Hermits .... but not like him.

IN that case , I better move my arse ... the problem is, I spent a lot on the tickets from USA to NZ ... but you hang in there, I am on my way -
You beat me to it . ( habitually ? ... ... I will have you know, my good Sir, I do not answer for other people ... I just butt in and give my own answer ) Mathers' mysterious prototype ? ? ?
-
I am attracted to it , I like the idea , but I dont know much about it. I think I looked into it once and found the cards a bit busy. ... Sternie probably knows more about it ?
-
yeah, but I am still interested in it, like 'astrological configuration of the decan', and any associations ... or any ideas people have on it ..... as you know
-
Oh, I see ; evaluation in their own right as a tarot deck. I am interested in the bit I bolded in your quote.
-
Yep, thats why I said " but I still think it isnt a GD deck as such, it has lots of changes and influences from other decks." in post # 64. I was talking about the parts that were GD influenced .... of course

see below * I just google NZ tree ferns, There are places like that all over NZ and different looking country at nearly every turn of the road ,it doesnt take long to go from east to west in some places, at some places you can be skiing in the morning at surfing in the afternoon. I best to get a guide book and do some reserach, or prelude a serach with 'the best places to find .... in new Zealand. Move that noggin man, ( You see ... one has to make a request here, one can kick a but, but not a head ... that's going a bit far) . Right then ! You asked for i. I have the tickets .... I'm coming .... look out ! * DreamBliss and Nungali , in their cabin, cruise ship, mid - Pacific; < Just start at 04.38 substitute the words...' Niagara Falls ' with "Law of Attraction' . > ( and stop playing computer games ... that's very immature. ) -
I just heard some dude rave about how reading things in a different font than those most commonly used can help you learn the content of what you are reading quicker and more efficiently. It is supposed to draw you attention more to the content as more of your awareness is focused on the reading. I am going to give it go and start font converting things and see if I can detect any difference.

ermmmm ... I said a few reasons why I dont prefer Waite .... but you go on, I know you like riding this particular hobby horse. What am I applying to the minors that would reduce the majors ??? I was talking about courts. ... Then you sedgway into Satanism and the OTO ... more Steckenpferd . Look ... I will do it for you. Nungali, you retard. the GD made more of a mess of the Court's titles than Waite ever did. There ya go Re post 54 quote from Waite book ; Knight is 40 or older, a King under that age, Queen a woman over 40 , Page a woman under that age, But ; " Kings -- Generally men Queens -- Generally women Princes (Knights) -- Generally young men Princesses (Knaves) --Generally young women (Regardie, The Golden Dawn, third revised edition, 1970, Book Two, Volume Four p. 179) And other decks, but yes, I was assumptive in thinking generally people would see a king as older a prince is younger. And I still do not see why Waite attributes it this way. And I believe most would not even need to ask why, if it was attributed the other way. ( OR maybe I just unfairly dont like him because I satanically worship Aleister Crowley ? [ Besides, you kept saying you were not going to be around here so much and were going to take a break .... and I thought I could muck up a bit ... and only have to deal with Sternbach Yes, it does seem related, - Interesting. yes, in some ways it does, but I still think it isnt a GD deck as such, it has lots of changes and influences from other decks. Your example does show a reasonable association - and there are others, but he would not have explained that Sun symbolism in relation to the GD ceremony as he was keeping his oaths, I assume. Then he adds stuff from his own and other sources. Its a hogdepodge that is hard to navigate. yeah ... I like you too ... thats why I let you off so lightly . So does that mean you will give me no more chastisement about being a vegemite eater
-
neither am I, but some seem to think so, or that it came out of the GD. Would not that, back then, have been breaking his GD oaths if he did ?

get off the fuckin computer games ! get out there and do it .... you often compare what others have experienced in life to some crap computer game or movie .... you can live it man ! Bite the orange .... plunge into the waters Lake Taupo ... and if you compare this to a video game ... God help me ... I will come over there, grab you and force you to go on a holiday to N.Z. -
Nah, its our deliberate set up just on this Multiple Occupancy. But you bring an interesting point. Even if I did have a parcel of land that I owned by land title, it is only the surface ( not sure how far down ). Australian land title does not include what is underneath. It does in some countries. In France, the land beneath you is considered yours all the way to the centre of the earth. Some get around that though. There is no mining allowed in some places, and if there is or isn't , what's down there does not automatically belong to you. Like big chunks of 'Tintenbar opal' But ... for 'some reason' farmers at Tintenbar need a LOT of dams put in . No law against that .... and if one happens to dig up something ... and not tell anyone ( except certain dealers in the opal black market ) ..... ( psssst ... wanna buy some )

No I didnt. At least here on Daobums the majority seem to think race within the human race is a defunct and false concept. I like our political correctness better: " Yesterday a woman was robbed by a man of .............. (insert 'Middle eastern' ... 'Asian' , etc ) appearance . " During the race riots here ( at Cronulla) a bunch of yobs are screaming ' Kick out the Lebs go back where ya came from" A Lebanese were shouting back " But I was born here ! " Another shouts at the yobs: " You guys need to go back where you came from too then , none of you are Aboriginal ! " Then this guy comes forward and says " What about me ? I am half Lebanese and half Aboriginal ! Where am I supposed to go back to "

If someone steals your bike and rides around flaunting it, and falsifies a receipt so they have 'proof' and I know about that I am going to say, there goes your bike z00se, with the bastard on it that stole it. But thats just me. I might even end up sharing my bike with you . I know it doesnt get the bike back to you. And that is not even addressing the issue that some land has been given back already. I have been to visited and stayed on land recently returned , that a friend who is an elder is now custodian of. It used to be their land when he was a little kid, it has a cave he used to play in and a river they used to fish in, and now they are doing that again. I have never been anything but welcome there. Some dickheads trashed the place and there were driven of by force and threat .... but apparently, thats psycho ? <shrug> whatever. Fair enough I suppose. < shrugs again > I have old people, single mothers with new born babies, indigenous elders, kids, dumped dogs, injured animals stay here, at times I slept outside in the cold in winter ( twice when homeless single mothers with little babies stayed in the cabin ) .... but, come here and try to push around, disrupt, take over, hassle my guests and yeah, I will 'go psycho' on you ( looks over the martial arts weapons ) .... with ..... this one ! - just remembered one amusing incident with 'Sir Percy' ( a re incarnated Knight - who I apparently battled in the past in a joust and put his eye out ,,, and it carried over to now in the etheric plane and manifested in his name ; Percy ... pierce eye ... apparently). He smashed his car and believed it was my fault ,so he came here to get even, red faced and frothing, kicked my friends little dog and was rude and threatening to her, the noise woke me up from my nap (not a good idea ), I looked down from the verandah, MV ( wild feral man) jumps out the bushes where he was napping and Pete the Greek ( ex army parachuter ) comes bolting out the cabin. Now he is surrounded by three of us so he legged it ... picked the wrong day to go psycho on me ! Yeah ... he probably thinks we were all psycho. A cheeky quoll yeah, we are all discussing .... do you mean this bit " But if you dont respect what others have and develop and consider all the time and effort they put in, and want to take, and demand and not ask ... then you can fuck off! " ? You took that personally or as if I was aiming at those in the discussion ... no ... not unless you would come here or on to someone's patch and do that. Or was it the 'f' word usage that indicates psychotic behaviour .... or was there a reason you took it personally ??? I will remove 'Aussie you' then and the colloquial projective grammar But if one does not respect what others have and develop and consider all the time and effort they put in, and want to take, and demand and not ask ... then they can fuck off ! There ! Cleaned up Whoa there ! Sugercoat... are you saying I am sugar coating and saying the land was never taken and they still own it in more than in a moral and spiritual sense ? No way. Ahhh .... wait a minute ... now I am getting it ...you are in Melbourne, right ? Thaaaat explains it * (see below ) Certainly .... thats what I have been doing for some time. Some people try to fuck up the process, I dont like that, I will try to stop them from trashing things. Some people dont listen until they get a crack on the head (or a stone axe planted in it ... yes it happens ) . If you realise the above in that last paragraph you wrote, you will realise that people fight over land and associated rights, always have. But to fight back is 'psycho' ? Yep, it is an age old situation, at its heart seems http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gorgias_%28dialogue%29#The_pitiful_tyrant - 3.4 * Land rights in Melbourne ... a must watch ! Dude ... 5 of them turned up here, they were welcome, stayed about 3 days, hunted goanna, shared it with me, sat around a fire at the river at night, told stories, laughed. Then I got an open invite to go and stay with them. Its been going back and forwards for near 20 years now. They even built a humpy for me to stay in when I visit at their place ... beautiful it is .... looks down the river, nice fire inside ... But I dont live in Melbourne
-
Yep, but the exclusions are 'naturally formed' not upheld by legislation'. My 'personal situation ' certainly does divide rights to property use - my situation, my home, there is my perimeter < points > . That's one part of what I wrote about in 'repelling' others that suggested taking it by force. My point was, where I live ( the legal land parcel of a 'Multiple Occupancy Code Development) does not have individual people holding legal title over pieces of divided land ( as most other Multiple Occupancies do ). No one individual person legally owns or has land title to the land, or the part they live on. Which for many is hard to comprehend, and occasionally people who dont comprehend it think they can get an advantage ... if you dont legally own it, then they will take it. That's where 'natural law' comes into play (even though I DO have rights of residence under official law extended through the companies by-laws but not ownership ).
-
Serves correction back to you ... it still is ! How would you know ? And where do you get off telling me what I want or not ? And assuming what arrangements I have made with the Gumbaynggirr and Bundjalung. You are a baarligen baligen ! Are you suggesting the opposite of what I said isnt psycho ? And that you go around not respecting what others have and develop and do not consider all the time and effort they put in, and think it is okay to take, and demand and not ask ... if that's what you mean ..... you the one acting all white fellah !

Is that following a court order or is an attribution of cards to people? Even so he says the young man is the King and the old man the Knight ? and as usual, he does not say why .... just declares it is so. I contest that most people would make the face and question mark I do ^ about that.
-
No ... it is broken ... its in the courts . Well, its either broken as a mistaken GD copy, or it was Waite's own trip ( see my post above about he he did stuff like that) and if it was, why he syphoned off the GD symbolism and warped it ... with no explanation ( ahh! he didnt have to as he thought the GD deck would never be published ) and copy the symbols but swap the people around - re Kings and Princes ? He based his deck's 'construction' on what he syphoned off the GDs system, but then warped it, which warps that system. If he was more capable he would have hitched his tarot to his own star, and not made such a mess of things and created his own comprehensive system without the flaws that come about by hacking someone else's, especially when you dont fully understand it, or use it to tack your own philosophically disparate system on to .

Encouragement to stick it back in is a good way to get over prudishism Love the box !

No, as it is not a 'type of' GD deck. On the other hand, are not we giving a deck a value, by comparing it to the other decks out there ? What titles ... where do you get 'titles' from? The GD deck ? If you think the RW deck should not be evaluated by comparison to the GD deck, why use the GD titles superimposed over the RW images ? Or do the RW minors have titles attributed to them by Waite ? Certainly not ! No, but there other valid reasons. Valid, to the one that deeply studies Tarot, but not your average card 'fortune teller' - heck, you can use a playing card deck for 'fortune telling' . I think prudish may refer to Waite's outlook ... pompous and self-inflated, might be a better term ? Or 'over - wordy' ... needlessly complicated .... obscure verbiage with reference to certain underlying mysteries that Waite knows.... that he keeps hinting at and won't cough up in clear plain language ( or even obscure language - I mean I can get a LOT of the hermetic metaphysical obscure symbolic writings, so it isnt that , and when he does, further research shows it to be a product of his romantic imagination formed from 'penny dreadfulls' of the time ( earlier age when he had little money ) and certain anglo 'wishful mythology', all rolled up into a ball with his own , often unsubstantiated take on it all ... (just refer it to a mystery that you are not worthy of ... or ready for ) Although this article gives a more glowing overview than I would give him, it has some good background info on Waite and his .... proclivities ( plus I am a bit of a fan of Bro. Gilbert's writings ) . http://www.mastermason.com/luxocculta/waite.htm

'Primal energy' ... energy before 'creation' is the 0 , or nothingness. Then energy (or 'the nothingness' ) ' splits in two' and becomes 'contained' in matter or in 'space' ( that is space with no matter in it ) . 0 = n+ + n - = Run it in reverse and 'squash' the two components back together and n - + n+ = 0 which consumes time as well as matter and space But can we count this new 'real nothingness' as part of 'space' if it doesnt exist in this universe ? Or does it exist 'between the Universe' ? And is part of a cycle ?

Hobbit town ? Pffft ! Man, there are real Hobbit towns and places there ... There are a zillion reasons to visit NZ. Its amazing, It all feels so 'new' , even geologically, yet at the same time, in the natural parts it feels like some prehistoric era. The plant life and vegetation are amazing .... its lush and ferny ( the national emblem ) Giant fern forest . It has ( or had , when I was there ) a great network of well built and placed modern backpacker / traveller / camper ( tramping they call it there ) hostels - cheap too. I stayed at this one for ages , https://www.google.com.au/search?q=Kaikoura+youth+hostel&espv=2&biw=1242&bih=577&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ei=mWlzVeTCNs2LuwSxuodg&ved=0CAcQ_AUoAg <sigh ... memories > amazing views, coastal landscapes, next to a fisherman's warf where I got fresh crabs lobsters and fish for a pittance and would BBQ them at the hostel, and yes, I even spent some time with nice woman I met there ) People were amazing, twice, not just once, but twice, I got picked up hitch hiking, taken home, got given dinner and a bed for the night and in the morning I was told if I drove the hubby to work, and picked him up at the end of the day, I could use the car for sightseeing in that area , and I was welcome to do that for a few days - with total strangers - , the first time that happened it blew me out, but twice ? ! One place I camped at for a bout 5 days by myself had a beautiful stream, large trout and watercress, nearby kumra ( native sweet potato ) wild mushrooms, giant blackberries ( thats protein, minerals starch and Vit. C. ). I came back with teh food I took there. The Maori were fantastic - once you learn how to relate to a ferocious large monster that comes up to you and puts his face 1/4 inch from yours ( you are supposed to rub noses ) or threatens to kill and eat you, but you buy him a beer and start chatting, and he invites you back to his place, which is a feral camp with the rest of the family .... on one of the most beautiful places on earth, beside Lake Taupo - (so clean, you can see to the bottom, and its deeeep - actually its scary - looking over the side of the boat, you feel like you are going to fall ... and floating on the surface swimming and looking down is one of the freakiest things ( while all the Maori in the boat are laughing at you ) ... their mates boat, that is, that they have taken you jetboating in ( the same trip costs heaps for tourists ) .... and cooking food in hot springs ... and and and .... Of course, I highly recommend a trip there for you .... be great for your continued individuation process ... contact some raw and vital male energy .... " Get it up Bud ! Do a dance with us ! " ( they would tell you .... yes tell you . I absolutely loved it ! get your 'blood up ' < wacks his own chest > "Come on Cusybro ! get on the end of the line and follow along ! "
