  1. Thats all rather theological ..... Look ... do me and Marbles get to watch the cheerleaders or not ? ... that's what I want to know !
  2. My theory on the 11:11 phenomenon

3 types of fool; one is a fool as we are so smart we know he is a fool, the other is so smart that we dont realise he is smart and think him a fool, the third seems a Fool but always seems to 'have things work out' for him . This last one seems to know some secret of the Dao ? There used to be this man that stood at the entrance to the markets begging. he was known as 'the idiot' as once a man offered him a coin or a large amount of money and the idiot took the coin. It became a habit for people to do, the beggar would always take the coin and people would go off laughing. They would take their visiting friends with them; "Watch this" and then go off laughing. One day a kinder soul thought to point out to the poor 'intellectually disadvantaged' man that people were making fun of him "Why dont you take the larger amount, then soon, you would be able to give up begging ." The beggar said " If I took the large amount people would soon suspect me of becoming rich, stop giving me any money and soon the money I would have would be spent and I would have no income. This way, I get money everyday from people proving to their friends how smarter than me they are by giving me their money everyday ... if that stopped ... I might have to get a job. ~ The Fool is 11 in Holland ? Do you mean tarot card decks and books written and/or published in Holland show the fool card as numbered 11 ? I have never heard of or seen that before ! she is an 11 11 11 - Gemini sign : You can even make an 11 , a very complex and elaborate one, from Benjamin Franklin's Magic Square of 8 ( 8 - Mercury - Gemini ) by doing a join the numbers line add some pretty colours, embroidery, sewn on crystals and gems and .... viola! 6 ?
  3. Oh ... can I be cast into hell by declaration too ? There is a conversation I have not finished with Marblehead yet, its winter here and getting a bit cold .... ... we could chat and keep warm ... and watch the show
  4. It cant be helped. More people will look now. It has an interesting exponential view rate, a similar study was done in Chicago with some very interesting results: http://i.ytimg.com/vi/eOifa1WrOnQ/maxresdefault.jpg
  5. Bashar - The Alchemist

I liked that post. In other places I have been donged on the head for sprouting such opinions ..... no dongs applicable here IMO .
  6. How to summon entities?

Told ya .... in post 2. Anyway ..... I use tarot and astrology to great advantage and I am obviously a sceptic. The issue could be your outlook and 'understanding' of what these things are. Prediction ? Phoosh! Forget that. Book of encoded wisdom ? Yep. Again, depending on how you look at it. Not taking things literally might be a good start, look for symbolic representations you can relate to, then increase the field (of the symbols and what you can relate to) by study and practice. Astrology can give you great insights into yourself as well, again, if studied right. The first step in all of this , and it is all really variations of that first step; Know thyself. I will leave that advice to others ... Michael seems to be giving you good advice. There is a tarot forum here if you decide to follow that path.

But it is 'coded' or represented by the 'interplay' of 'symbol units' in various themes - hence, as some have noticed, the connection to the 'mythic' or the 'creative soul imaginings'. They all have a 'language of their own' ... even when words are used to describe things and processes, in most cases, they are very cryptic and are usually describing the symbolism.
  8. How to summon entities?

There isnt one. First question back to you ; beginner in what ?
  9. where to start ?

Could you post some more about this Fasi / Zoroastrian 'LBR' ( something there sounds familiar ? )
  10. where to start ?

Well, you did define your search in the first post. So you got very good advice about that in some above posts. The other areas seem tangential although they may spark your interest and are not really 'occult' and certainly not western alchemy but 'cultural', 'religious' or 'mythological' practices 'sects' or revivals - with the exception, perhaps of the traditional witch craft. Often these groups have adopted a type of occult practice . but, so as not to split hairs too much, the above post's last paragraph seems more important (and well said ) . Actually. no, you shouldn't just jump in or just dip a toe without being confronted at the 'threshold' ; Who are you ? What do you want ? What is you aim and purpose ? Regardless of what you do or how you do it , in one form or another, eventually you will keep coming back to those issues and the answers you come up with will define the path/s you take.
  11. Bashar - The Alchemist

Ahhh ... well said ! Thanks for clearing up the confusion . Waite ? Now there is a writer that is good for those confused about the subject ... he has such a simple, direct and non pompous way of expression.
  12. Bashar - The Alchemist

    its a mystery
  13. Bashar - The Alchemist

Of course: go away and meditate for 20 years, then you will know , just remember to keep your cup empty. Oh yeah, knock on the door and it will be opened .... when you are ready the teacher will come and ... as my first magical teacher taught me "If you dont know the answer - just tell them its a 'mystery'. "
  14. Bashar - The Alchemist

I guess they are expensive too ? As I said, I thought he was a new age channelling internut ... why are some here saying he is spot on ? .... oh hang on .... they are channellers themselves, aren't they
  15. Bashar - The Alchemist

Yes it will do that when you smoke da weed mon . here, have a roll dispenser Rastafari peace tie .... mon. actually, it reminded me of this You gotta be crazy, you gotta have a real need. You gotta sleep on your toes, and when you're on the street, You gotta be able to pick out the easy meat with your eyes closed. And then moving in silently, down wind and out of sight, You gotta strike when the moment is right without thinking. And after a while, you can work on points for style. Like the club tie, and the firm handshake, A certain look in the eye and an easy smile. You have to be trusted by the people that you lie to, So that when they turn their backs on you, You'll get the chance to put the knife in. You gotta keep one eye looking over your shoulder. You know it's going to get harder, and harder, and harder as you get older. And in the end you'll pack up and fly down south, Hide your head in the sand, Just another sad old man, All alone and dying of cancer. And when you loose control, you'll reap the harvest you have sown. And as the fear grows, the bad blood slows and turns to stone. And it's too late to lose the weight you used to need to throw around. So have a good drown, as you go down, all alone, Dragged down by the stone. I gotta admit that I'm a little bit confused. Sometimes it seems to me as if I'm just being used. Gotta stay awake, gotta try and shake off this creeping malaise. If I don't stand my own ground, how can I find my way out of this maze? Deaf, dumb, and blind, you just keep on pretending That everyone's expendable and no-one has a real friend. And it seems to you the thing to do would be to isolate the winner And everything's done under the sun, And you believe at heart, everyone's a killer. Who was born in a house full of pain. Who was trained not to spit in the fan. Who was told what to do by the man. Who was broken by trained personnel. Who was fitted with collar and chain. Who was given a pat on the back. Who was breaking away from the pack. Who was only a stranger at home. Who was ground down in the end. Who was found dead on the phone. Who was dragged down by the stone. Dogs (Waters, Gilmour) ( Mon ... I need a blast of Floyd ... maybe tonight )

  17. Bashar - The Alchemist

Thats what I thought ; he was some type of ascended internut master ? But then I saw it related to alchemy .... I suppose those types of guys would come to it eventually ... at least as a a channeller .... it's easier to cite 'references' ?

Alright .... I will put my head on the block ... why ? ( I can imagine why ; you think it is a waste of time ? ) - but my imaginings may be wrong ? Its just a 'magical fist bump'
  21. Where do jobs come from?

In traditional culture here, good season, good country, about 2 - 3 hours a day on food gathering and hunting. Throw in a few extra ones on shelter when a camp moves. The rest of the time is culture, family, 'crafts' and tool making. And often no 'soul ' development / expression associated with it. That depends on how 'friendly' the world is.
  22. Where do jobs come from?

    " Work ! ? ? "
  23. Watching The Birds

    Isnt it spring there ?
  24. Sufi Dance - What is this?

If I 'tried it' I know who would get hurt. This has been around a bit ... but ... ahhh what the heck ... it might be good to repeat it to stop CHI MASTERS getting hurt! The first part is the signing of the contract, the 'Chi Master' offered a cash prize to anyone who could overcome his awesome power of ' no touch chi'. Then the 'demo' ( there is the prob ... never do a 'demo' without your own 'hypnotised' students )
  25. Watching The Birds

    Heaps of birds for 30 cents ! My parrot plants have pretty much spread across the back of the cabin and around the outhouse. Recently I decided to give them a dose of liquid Phosphorus ... just on a whim. Considering the amount and price of bottle , about 30 cents worth. Boy did that boost a blooming ! This morning it has attracted a scad of honeyeaters ... like this guy but bright chrome yellow markings with a deep olive colouring and a thinner longer curved beak (cant find a pic the same as them ) ;
