  8. Greetings! Question about the Fall of man and infancy

My friend was telling me last month about her daughter when she was four . Her husband and daughter's dad had just died . They went through a lot but it was so intense and busy she had not really had time to grieve . Then a bit later they went for a walk in the forest, my friend said she could feel it welling up inside her and she couldnt stop it. She ended up lying on the ground and " ... I cried so much my tears made a puddle of mud and I was lying there with my face in it unable to move starting to bubble and breathe the mud into my mouth and nose ." Her daughter sat by her stoking her for over a half hour saying " Dont worry Mummy , Daddy is dead now but that just means he is everywhere ... he is in the forest, in the air and the ground and he is inside us too . Dont worry , I will stay with you . " She said she eventually came out of it and her daughter led her by hand back to the car . There are a few amazing little kids around here , sometimes I have the pleasure of minding them . Another friend lives near a caravan park by a river . Relatives visited and after a bit they noticed the 6 yo boy was missing . They went searching , he had been gone about 20 mins . In that time he had wandered the caravan park, made friends with two old guys , one lent him some fishing tackle , another some bait , he went down to the wharf and another old guy had shown him how to bait and cast .... and he had 3 fish in the bucket !
  9. How do you personally meditate?

... but have you buried the shoe box with the money in it in your back yard yet ?
  10. Jesus in India ( Himalayas)

Well raid and run is easiest ; the groups of IE that did that via horse , later 'Mongols' also a large part of Viking culture via ship . I'd have to go deeper into anthropology and archaeology to tag accurately the 'good guys ' but generally they where elements within those cultures that we tag by their teachings, principles and laws . Coming into Central Asia is rather vague , coming out , east and west is mostly via Zoroaster and Miwoche and their associated cultures .
  11. How do you personally meditate?

That one you wrote about ; " ..... He did made me join his cult with help of black magic, where we harras people for their faith and for their faith only of course, (because we are biased and accademics can be wrong (but fictonal Moses cannot)). "
  12. well, now you have insulted ducks ! ... poor ducks .
  13. Jesus in India ( Himalayas)

Yes but, if even a parrot could cite those references it would still prove that the Bible talks about eternal damnation .... wouldn't it ? So I wondering what your objection to references about eternal damnation in the Bible is about ? Do you really think they are not in there ?

  18. The bible, OT and NT

Lets face it , to many modern people the OT is a primitive horror story . That was noticed in the past as well and caused some rather radical developments , as exampled above . Some groups even thought the OT was so bad Jehovah must be Satan . ... so that means .... maybe one should do the opposite of what it says ; Do NOT worship Jehovah , do see the Egyptians as heroes and the good guys , DO practice sodomy and enjoy some Gomorrah , etc . As a little guy, I never saw a Bible at the Catholic School ... well, only from a distance . We learnt from 'The Catholic Catechism' and a book with select Jesus tales for kiddies extracted from the NT with an occasional 'nice' OT story thrown in . They left out the ones where ' Good men' gave their wives and daughters to mobs of rapists and the instructions on how to feed the 'big space vampire' with fresh blood within the temple

Every 'great ' idea has its 'Ignatius Donnelly ' behind it , meet .... Nicolas Notovich, 1887 In 1887, Russian war correspondent Nicolas Notovitch claimed that while at the Hemis Monastery in Ladakh, he had learned of a document called the "Life of Saint Issa, Best of the Sons of Men" – Isa being the Arabic name of Jesus in Islam.[29][30][31] Notovitch's story, with a translated text of the "Life of Saint Issa", was published in French in 1894 as La vie inconnue de Jesus Christ (Unknown Life of Jesus Christ).[5][31] According to the scrolls, Jesus abandoned Jerusalem at the age of 13 and set out towards Sindh, “intending to improve and perfect himself in the divine understanding and to studying the laws of the great Buddha”. He crossed Punjab and reached Puri Jagannath where he studied the Vedas under Brahmin priests. He spent six years in Puri and Rajgirh, near Nalanda, the ancient seat of Hindu learning. Then he went to the Himalayas, and spent time in Tibetan monasteries, studying Buddhism,[29] and through Persia, returned to Jerusalem at the age of 29. Notovitch's writings were immediately controversial and Max Müller stated that either the monks at the monastery had deceived Notovitch (or played a joke on him), or he had fabricated the evidence.[29][32][33] Müller then wrote to the monastery at Hemis and the head lama replied that there had been no Western visitor at the monastery in the past fifteen years and there were no documents related to Notovitch's story.[34]J. Archibald Douglas then visited Hemis monastery and interviewed the head lama who stated that Notovitch had never been there.[34] Indologist Leopold von Schroeder called Notovitch's story a "big fat lie".[35]Wilhelm Schneemelcher states that Notovich's accounts were soon exposed as fabrications, and that to date no one has even had a glimpse at the manuscripts Notovitch claims to have had.[5] Notovich responded to claims to defend himself.[36] But once his story had been re-examined by historians – some even questioning his existence – it is claimed that Notovitch confessed to having fabricated the evidence.[35]Bart D. Ehrman states that "Today there is not a single recognized scholar on the planet who has any doubts about the matter. The entire story was invented by Notovitch, who earned a good deal of money and a substantial amount of notoriety for his hoax".[37] However, others deny that Notovich ever accepted the accusations against him – that his account was a forgery, etc. Although he was not impressed with his story, Sir Francis Younghusband recalls meeting Nicolas Notovitch near Skardu, not long before Notovitch had visited Hemis monastery.[38] In 1922, Swami Abhedananda, the president of the Vedanta Society of New York between 1897 and 1921 and the author of several books, went to the Himalayas on foot and reached Tibet, where he studied Buddhist philosophy and Tibetan Buddhism. He went to the Hemis Monastery, and allegedly found the manuscript translated by Notovitch, which was a Tibetan translation of the original scrolls written in Pali. The lama said that it was a copy and that the original was in a monastery at Marbour near Lhasa. After Abhedananda's death in 1939, one of his disciples inquired about the documents at the Hemis monastery, but was told that they had disappeared."
  20. Jesus in India ( Himalayas)

Jesus Christ was a Tamil Hindu, claims RSS founder's book. Christ Parichay, the book that claims Jesus Christ was born a Tamil Hindu, Ganesh Damodar claims that Christianity is a sect of Hinduism. The present day Palestinian and Arab territories were a Hindu land. He went on to say that Christ traveled to India and learnt yoga. Who knows Modi might have also learnt it from 'our very own' Christ, right? Christ's real name was Keshao Krishna, according to the author. He even had a dark complexion and his mother tongue was Tamil. Christ's sacred thread ceremony (janeyu) was held when he was 12, according to Brahmin tradition. He even wore a sacred thread. Apparently, Christianity was never a separate religion and it was a Hindu cult and doctrine introduced by Christ. Christ was saved after his crucifixion by people from the Essene's cult, who practiced Yoga and spiritual science. He was given medicinal herbs and plants for his recovery from the 'deathbed'. Christ also was taken to Kashmir. It was in Kashmir that Christ prayed to Lord Shiva and he spent the last days of his life in the Himalayas. Damodar claims that Christ's family dressed in an 'Indian' way and had Hindu signs on their bodies. https://www.indiatoday.in/fyi/story/jesus-christ-tamil-hindu-rss-310087-2016-02-23
