A friend asked me what my new year resolutions where ???? I dont make them , why, its just some insignificant calendar marker , I would rather do stuff like that on winter solstice or spring equinox . She gave me 'a look' - who knows why - they would be her usual sentiments, but not in this case . And why do some want to know other's resolutions anyway . I am imagining most are giving up alcohol .... thats why they seem so desperate to drink vast amounts the night before the cut off deadline . It was a very quiet one last night .... I didnt hear one car go roaring past , no one ya-hooing from the roof of a speeding car it as they 'surfed with death', no all night incessant monotonous bass duff thumping through the forest from 'the castle' up the road . No illegal fireworks going off .... nuffin . It was a great New Year's Eve !

I have always wondered about this , so I am wondering what Dr Maddie thinks years back I had a doc who was western AND TCM . I used to get badly irritated, red, itchy eyes after smoking marijuana so I asked him about it . he did an examination , got me to smoke some then did another examination . He proceeded to put in some needles , I have had them before along and near the eyebrows , which is what I thought he was going to do as he was 'fiddling' around in that area . I did notice the needles seemed rather long . he put the first needle in below the eyebrow , but lower than I expected and pushed it into my eye socket below the bone and above the eyeball and all the way into the back of my eye socket . I would probably never have agree if he told me that was what he was going to do ! I froze . Two more there and three in the other side . I lay there VERY still . I could feel the shafts of the needles on my eye balls if I moved them a little . Boy was I glad to get them out ! When I left , walking down the street after only about 150 meters I ran into people 3 times that knew me and they all commented on my eyes . WTF . So I went into the pub, into the toilets and looked in the mirror . My eyes looked clean, new, sparkly, beaming . All the white parts where pure shiny white , like a babies . The problem went away for a long time . have you ever heard of that before ? It was extremely freaky . [ Another time he said he wanted to do a point either side below my knee , at the back so he stuck a long in one side all the way through and out the other side . I asked him about that and he said 'I thought since I was going to do both points to use the one needle instead of two separate ones . This was years back, I have not had treatment from in in many years as he moved . He did treat me for a few years for Hep C as well which seemed (according to docs) to have kept me in a good condition until the cure was developed . The doctors where surprised that I had had it for so long , with little effects and damage . ]

Ummmmm ... it can be if you are a CIA funded Tibetan Buddhist living in USA . Those on the attack on Buddhists would be better focused on that . I can start that one off with some stats and facts if they like . But heaven forbid .... can anyone find a religion , or monastary or sect within a religion that has a perfect faultless leader and no internal interpersonal problems , or some level of corruption present ?

'Happy Solstice ' ! I get it double ; Xmas and my birthday is on the other one (solstice) . My Christmas day involved first early , no presents, but someone that wanted me to share what I didnt have enough of for myself .... I did . and then listened to their twisted and seemingly inescapable problems for three hours . Then my partner had a blowout , which I tried to help her through and apparently got that all wrong and upset her more (and now things have moved along upstairs (so to speak ), my concern turned into 'Dont be silly . You worry too much, I am okay ." Then followed by a 2 1/2 hr call with my big bro , we haven't spoken in over two years ... a lot to go through and sort out . and .... and ..... I am presently typing from a safe space , underneath my bed

Why let .... let . if one hears information one does not accept , why LET IT get in and become somehow personal to you . some of the alternative choices are; to blame them and feel an indignation has occurred or not accept it and ' ya missed me ' or catch it and throw it back with a custard pie attached
