Nothing wrong with also no apparent cause 'medically' after a heap of tests , doctor flummoxed . Later in desperation from pain they went to a cranio-sacral osteopath who found they had a twisted illeo-cecal valve , which may not show up on medical tests . You might need a review from someone who knows how the internal organs impact the musculature of the body . if you go TCM find a TCM doc who knows structural stuff (many modern ones dont do palpitations find someone that does palpitations TCM , a structural kinestheologist or a cranio-sacral osteopath . The next thing I would like to respond to is your 'affliction' . Remember I asked if there was any type of enactment of an affliction or injury in the relevant initiation ceremony ? Since I dont know what ceremonies or rituals your system does , and I cant explain my own in details , I will use what Steiner wrote and the Freemasonic ceremonies where this technique is used : Steiner used a Christian based initiation system , in most traditions a part of some ceremonies involves the candidate enacting a part from the life of another initiate / master / teacher - via emulation / resonance and this often involves the persecution of that person . In Steiner's 'Theosophy of the Rosicrucian ' he talks about pains, injuries and afflictions that can occur afterwards that relate to the wounds of Christ received during his 'punishments' . In Freemasonry , they emulate Hiram Abiff and the three 'ruffians' that assault him. The candidate takes the place of Hiram and receives the attack ( focused on three different parts of the body - which roughly correspond to the the three of the main energy centers ) , 'dies' and is later 'revived ' . What level of initiation and what part of the body is affected ? Have you read 'Theosophy of the Rosicrucian' by Steiner ? I found it interesting in that , although I am not Christian , and not an anthroposophist ( although I 'get' the basis of the system , as it was originally hermetic , and I have worked for them in the field of - 'Earth Alchemy ' - I used to be the bio-dynamic soil / compost preparations maker for Bio-dynamic Agriculture Australia ) I recognized Steiner's 'validity' regarding his initiations , although a variant initiation process, due to what he wrote about about associated trauma , injury, unexplained, pain or sickness relating to certain parts of the body to certain initiation levels . Although that can vary according to the system and the time and place . Years back when we where an active initiating body , one of the 'trials' that seemed to be 'unofficially' be out there was the pre ' preliminary initiation' car crash . - people would have an accident on the way to the ceremony . ... not bad but usually sufficient to at least delay their arrival . Hi Compendium . I hope I am the one you refer to and seek . And not another , who although wrote a lot about it , it was unfortunately giving , self projected , uneducated, unbalanced and confused , often psychotic 'advice' . To make things worse, some others supported him and went on the attack against me for pointing that out . I will point out any danger I see like that ... its just how I am . My focus on this is two fold ; for personal development and 'academia ' ... meaning I have experience in both 'the armchair' (theory and study within academia ; 'cultural anthropology' ) and 'in the field' ( personal experience) . I have gone through both; (some of ) the initiations within a 'western mystery school ' and so called 'self initiation' in another system and association with others that have done similar . I have had a 'shamanic' teacher in indigenous traditions as well ( but no personal 'initiation' within that tradition ). I have studied various systems of initiation across time and location . This may not be the best place to converse and most people here may not be interested in it . Perhaps PM is a better way of communicating here ? Most initiation systems are a 'closed' system anyway and thats to protect traditions from invasions, criticisms and gossips ... unbalanced people trying to put others off and a whole range of other crap people seem to want to do to interfere in someone else's process ....
