Would preserving flying phoenix give one good karma, maybe i am mad but synchronicity has me thinking flying phoenix is what i should pursue and yes the pandemic is really irritating i wanted to start practicing it with other people.... and join the gym, funnily enough the guy at the gym showing me around mentioned how calm i was almost like he enjoyed my presence so perhaps i should take this chi to that gym? I think i already asked this but if i teach this chi gong i must be qualified in some way? If i just practice it with people can i still ask for donations?....

I had been doing no fap, by then i had managed to go on a bunch of 40 + day streaks, i was also doing mindfulness meditation everyday and having done the white tara and medicine buddha empowerment i would often do the medicine buddha mantra. On one of my rounds in Colchester UK i went into an old peoples resisdential area 'Kendall Terrace' for the first time and i am not sure how to described this but there was this light/bliss coming from my right side in front of me as i was walking at the back of this place and there was a buddha staue there. I have heard people talk of clear light maybe thats what they mean. Anyway i had been back since and it never happened again, i still dont know what the hell that was all about, i wish i could go back in time whatever i had back then i have lost it.... wasted seven years on self destructive behavior i used to have such bliss. -

What you said Steve has inspired me to be more into Buddhism, when i was happiest when i was more dedicated to it and over coming my own vices for the sake or all sentient beings. I do believe in god and Jesus, also other spiritual paths intrigue me and this has caused the strange type of suffering in me of cognitive dissonance but perhaps that does not have to be... i dunno despite having mystical experiences i am more confused than ever. I do seem to resonate more with buddhism although i am not scholar so dont ask me to recite the 8 fold path please. A strange thing happened to me whilst i was working as a post man at the end of 2013 / beginning of 2014 i had done some Drikung Kagyu empowerments the links of which are on this video but they are now expired. -

Spirits do exist, what do you think allot of ufo's and alien abductions are? Demonic/Fallen angelic beings! These things i believe have been messing with me my whole life, back in 2013 i started doing mindfulness meditation everyday and thanks to doing so i managed to slowly cut back on my porn addiction, i finally made it 3 weeks no pmo and woke up one morning in sleep paralysis with a 4ft grey alien/archon/demon standing at the foot of my bed... anyway since then things got really weird like they were influencing people against me and i got allot of psychic attacks especially at night. I can go into more detail, but the point is these entities exist or at least that is the conclusion i have come to after looking into the topic and believe me things on this planet including peoples weird behavior starts to make waaay more sense...i sometimes remember the way someone acted in the past and will be like 'ahhhh there was probably a demon behind that'. Also remember seeing a reptilian but in what i assume is the astral or lower astral... im not into astral projection. Anyway i have been doing allot better recently again and i think that perhaps that is down to listening to buddhist mantras to dispel and protect against black magick... i dunno its always weird talking about this stuff even on a forum like this. -
Oh and the time i managed to abstain for long periods not only did i get healthier but i felt this bliss in my body... sometimes it was so good that i am actually amazed i would go back into porn or even want real sex for that matter, although i am sure with the right person it could be phenomenal but tbh imo sex is kinda gross i wish i could build a light body and just gtfo

Someone told me that when they had sex they felt this energy circulating back and forth between them and their partner. This reminds me of what i have heard about tantric Buddhist sex. Unfortunately my experience is limited as every time i have been with a woman i have been in a low jing state and since i am a massive wanker who is enslaved to porn i haven't really enjoyed it either. As for the energy vampirism well its demonic entities you have to watch out for, back in 2013 i started to practice mindfulness meditation everyday and thanks to that i finally managed to slowly cut down on my porn addiction... that summer i went three weeks no pmo for the first time and i woke up in sleep paralysis witha 4ft grey alien/archon/demon standing at the foot of my bed. Anyway it would take to too long to go into all my experiences with entities invading my mind, manipulating my dreams and also those around me which i know sounds crazy but once you realize this happens and they do indeed exist allot of things make sense. In the beginning of 2015 i was waking up one morning and i felt energy being drained from my left arm a bit like pins and needles but not. I turned my head to the left and just before i opened my eyes i saw what seemed like a fractal realm of red orange and yellow with a short reptilian humanoid prominent brow ridge with a big messed up grin arm outstretched holding my arm. About to go off topic but i did have an interesting bunch of experiences in the spring of 2014 i had managed to go a load of 40 ish day no pmo streaks and then more recently every couple of weeks relapse... two different times i was around two different girls i felt my lower dan tien connect with theirs and there was this crazy sexual tension. But when i spiraled back down in porn slavery those two girls seemed kinda disgusted at me whereas before they really seemed to like me which is funny they wont know why exactly. The first time i made it 7 weeks no pmo i kept thinking about a co worker who is not even attractive, so i wake up one night and feel something trying to pull my boxers down.... oh and i have IBS the only way to get better is suppliments and sexual abstinence but despite my symptoms being awful i still havent managed to overcome my porn addiction.... so yeah the last 7 years have been a nightmare, well i guess my whole life as this probably means i have been abducted by aliens since i was born so yaaay for being human on this stupid fucking planet!

Thats interesting, so do you face the moon whilst you do your practice? Because I would probably have to stand in a field and tilt my body back to achieve that. Yeah it also reminds me of what i heard from burning palm, sounds difficult to achieve though

I feel allot of resentment, its like my mind just wont forget about things people have done to me in the past... why do i have to suffer when they were the ones who did wrong. Anyway i was listening to this as i read you message vajra fist, not really sure that i like this music but its a funny coincidence, what you said seems to make sense and i believe that is why demonic entities manipulate/inspire others to put you down... to keep you in your place energetically so to speak.

I get the feeling my previous question wont be answered again, never the less here is another, is there a herbal formula or tea specifically for the flying phoenix practice... i recall there being some for other practices?

Hello, i just did bending the bows 9 reps took a lil break then 18 reps, still suprises me that it makes me sweat as i am not a very sweaty person usually... also after doing 18 reps my feet get a bit numb and tingly perhaps i am misaligned or something. What i wanted to ask is something i have already asked before but i dont think i ever got an answer, on DVD 3 the 2nd and last meditation there is a bit where you lean forward and to the right with arms outstretched and as you come back you draws your arms in with palms facing each other. This is done three times and afterwards you do the same movement except clench your fists instead of palms facing each other however this is only done twice. Are these meant to be done the same amount of times and if so is it twice or three times?

I started randomly doing lotus when i was a kid, probably to show off not sure where i got the idea... like to think i was a buddhist monk in a previous life but probably not. I didnt have a problem back then but your bones are much more flexible as a kid... only after doing flying phoenix for a while did i have one of the bones in my right leg pop out, it would happen if i was seated normally or crouching... i would think to my self 'oh no its going to be stuck like this forever' lol then i would have to forces my leg out so it would pop back in, it was weird.

Watch you dont damage your knees when doing lotus... like i did Perhaps i will follow this routine sometime in the future if it is any good.

How much difference do you think it makes sitting half lotus as opposed to just cross legged or even sitting normally in a chair? I think i am damaging my knees sitting in half lotus, so i have started doing yoga to open my hips and also trying to do the splits Hopefully i can get flexible enough to sit comfortably in lotus position as i love not only fp but just mindfulness meditation, it would be nice to be able to sits for hours at a time comfortably. Any advice on getting that flexibility would be much appreciated, on the bright side at least i can now do more reps of the longer seated meditations although meditation 3 on dvd 7 will be awakward if i am to take the normal seated posture.

Ok, i was going to do the wim method first thing in the morning then a cold shower if i dont wuss out... what if i did the wim hoff method then not too long after started flying phoenix? As long as i dont do the method inbetween flying phoenix thats ok right? I sometimes do a sunn yee gong meditation then shortly after a flying phoenix med. Also someone has probably asked this but what if i sneex during fp, i just did a med and almost as soon i finished the breath sequence i sneezed but the energy was still there but perhaps not as strong? Another thing why are the second to last meditation on the dvd two and the first meditation on dvd 7 called the sleeper meditations?... when i do them they seem to keep me awake.

Hi, just wanted to suggest wim hoffs breathing technique as something that if the claims are true might help strengthen the immune system. I tried it last night and i had some really good vivid dreams... i am an avid dreamer anyway but this was different and i think it was thanks to the breathing technique which i did not expect.

I noticed a discrepency on the second meditation of dvd 2 'moon beam splashes on the water'. I should know this meditation off by heart but i always just play the DVD and follow along. When he does the palm pushes on wrist whilst facing left then comes back with fists clenched i always think it was supposed to be three times. However looking at the practice runs it is the bit before with palms facing each other that he only does twice in the practice but in the full thing does it three times. It probably doesnt really matter, if anything i would like to do both palms facing towards each other and clenched fists three times each but if it is supposed to be two that is what i shall do.

White metal huh, not sure what the white means but metal probably my weakest element, i miss practicing elemental chi gong as a heavy smoker those exercises really had an affect on me coughing up all kinds of gunk unfortunately i forget the exercises.

Ok this is a bit out there but do you think if one of us consistent fp practitioners lost an arm that when doing a meditation the chi would still flow as if that arm was there?

Its just one DVD with three meds, all with the same breath sequence 50 40 30 20 10. The first med is called cloud in heaven, the other two im not sure because its so distorted.... its kinda of funny his voice sounds demonic in parts. So greatful for being able to practice these meditations pity i cant thank him in person.

If you ever get the chance to do the golden flying phoenix you will be impressed by some of the movements he does, however i find it confusing because of the way he is sitting and what he is wearing it is hard to tell where his dan tien is. When he puts his right hand in left it seems to be at belly button level. Also when he does willow leaf palm the lower arm is not at dan tien level but just below or level to the other arm, but i guess thats just how the form is.

Haha i like you analogy, i was thinking of practicing infront of a mirror with my laptop in front of me that might help. Although doing these form imperfectly you still get benefits. I have tried the golden flying phoenix sitting meditations, very subtle in places but when you do it right it almost seems like you catch the chi or find it...not sure how im ever going to remember those forms though.

Thanks Earl, if someone could write down the minimum recommended number of reps/minutes for each meditation that would truly be great, i already have the percentages written down in a book...perhaps i should make a grimoire, if only i could illustrate to make it look cool and ... ... if only the meditations could be illustrated so you could look at that instead of the DVDs but of course that must be impossible with some of the meditations... perhaps a flick book could be made using frames from the DVDs

Hi, what is the minimum recommended number of repetitions for bedning the bows? I recall it being 18, is this correct, doing this many i have to say my legs get a bit sore which is strange since i stand up all day at work. Perhaps i should do two sets of 9. Also how does one know how much one should do as a bare minimum, is it not different for everyone?

I find the warm up exercises from the standing meditations to sometimes be more powerful than the actual meditations, it seems to draw out the flying phoenix chi and i find myself enjoying it so much that i waste all my time doing the warm up instead of the actual meditation. I would love to get more exercises like that, perhaps i should learn tai chi which i have tried to do before but it is far to travel and expensive but also a little boring too much talking you know and it never seemed to draw out the chi that same way these exercises do.
