TCM is medicine, post-natal. Neidan is not. Sure, about preparation for Neidan there could be use of 5 elements. And personal attacks or belittling are not needed, Christian. Herbs and Qigong won't return Yuanqi, the main point that you miss every time. No comment on self-developing your own Neidan methods, right?
-
TCM has no relation to Neidan, probably you mean Neigong. You cannot self-develop Neidan. And there is no sense in the word "meditations" in Neidan world.

@WuLiu Pai members: Secret of the Golden Flower
LaoZiDao replied to Wells's topic in Daoist Discussion
I feel like this has been answered a lot on there forums. Daogong is needed to find the balance, harmony, and stability. Also to understand the channels, feel and understand how the Nature effects human's energy, state, and so on. It's a preparation work with the post-heaven Qi which is important to restore the body's health and prepare for transformations in Neidan, as well as helping people improve their fate, clean the Heart and have better chance at receiving Neidan full transmission, and completing the work! Second of all, you cannot learn methods from books.. it's been discussed on here a lot. -
@WuLiu Pai members: Secret of the Golden Flower

I see, can you find the thread? Otherwise we'd just be assuming what opendao had meant without the context of the thread. "ιεε³ιδΈΉ" Yeah, It said exactly, 'Golden Flower (ιε) is Golden Dan (ιδΈΉ)'. -

Do you have any quotes of the text you are referring to specifically? P.S. I am not a WLP Student, but I am a student of Yuxianpai and have received initial methods of Wuliupai. P.S.S. Maybe I missed it or have not seen it, where did you see that Wuliupai School said it's opinion about that scripture? -
Tip number #1, don't practice methods people randomly told on forums.

PhD Evgeny A.Torchinov - greatest Russian scientist.
LaoZiDao replied to Pavel Karavaev's topic in Daoist Discussion
E.A.Torchinov has no relation to WLP.. D.A.Artemyev does, sure. But this thread is about E.A.Torchinov. who was not a student of WLP as I understand. Not sure what point you're trying to make anyway.. -
Well, the most interesting thing is Neidan. After all, it's what Daoism is about, it's the core. To discuss Daoism without considering Neidan aspect, is almost like not talking about Daoism at all.

Hello Master A.A.Khokhlov, How about tolerance to homosexuality in society? Personal view, it's like an infection or poison on society. Today it's greatly unbalanced to allow this widespread by government and so on. I think it should only exist on edges of society out of public, if at all. Recall about medical term tolerance: "the ability to endure unusually large doses of a poison or toxin.". Regards D.Taylor

LOL you think that is real? Clearly CGI

Infolad1, usually I would not have a problem, but since you claim to be a Neidan teacher, it becomes an issue. How about you stick to your Virtual Reality Simulation and Oculus Rift's, stop leading people astray to your with your creative new age ideas. Since you claim to be a Neidan teacher, surely you can reference some Daoist Scriptures about your ideas. Maybe an easier task, how about Daoist definition and characters for 'ghost Immortal' which you seem to know so much about?

So how does reincarnation work in Taoist theory?
LaoZiDao replied to Oneironaut's topic in Daoist Discussion
As far as I am aware, there is no difference in 'how it works' by any Traditional schools with True understanding. What changes is the approach to escape it (Samsara), namely true and false ways. Buddhist approach it by develop Yinshen and be stuck in the netherworld as a Guixian-ghost/dead-spirit for infinite time, hence escaping Samsara (reincarnation). According to the Daoist this is the greatest mistake. To my knowledge ancient original Buddhism was the similar as Daoism, cultivate Yangshen (rainbow body etc), ascend to heaven and escape Samsara in that way. Become the real Xian-immortal-god who has real unlimited potential, this is the true work of traditional schools that have true methods. -
What I wrote was not for you, but for others. I have interest or reasons to converse with you.

Heh, your words are so empty and knowledge so thin that any true seeker of Dao will see though it. I'll say anyway, Nei Dan Shu is methods to cultivate Dao, not be handed Dao for little efforts. expectations to reach achievement of Xian in short time is not realistic for most - someone could have a very special fate - but rare. There are many obstacles to first overcome and work to do (special methods to correct body's balance, removing the modern stress, tensions, illnesses, unsettled thoughts, correcting polluted ideas and thoughts -cleaning the Heart and so on) to prepare the body for further work on the way (the process) to cultivate Da Dao. Each person has their own unique struggles to overcome, each persons fate being different - and it takes time to correct and find the balance, and stabilise the good result, the preparation work is working on this and it is all part of the way to being able to perform further methods in the Alchemy.

I'm also a student and have been practising Daogong and YXP for almost 1 year, and WLP Juiyangshengong for much less, that is 2 classes per week for over 6 months, and 1 class per week for just under 6 months, multiple intensive trainings, and a week long intensive training in Russia where I met my Teacher, instructor, other Teachers, and long time local students. I got the sense of the School, Teachers and so on, and it is completely what I expected. There is serious care and attention to students progress, problems, incredible ability to determine students deviations, mistakes in practice and ability to correct it and bring back the harmony - which always results in improvements, increased understanding etc. There is defiantly no sickness developed from the methods, only positive changes in the daily life (opportunity, increased fortune, luck, increased energy in the daily tasks - work - relationships and so on) and in the body (long term health issues correcting, sensitivity of channels and direct sense of activation of channels from methods and it doing positive work in correcting the balance, working with the post-heaven Qi with sense behind it - not just random work with Qi causing disharmony's and sending fire to the head, all too common with pseudo-schools). Of course, for great changes you get what you put in: little efforts, little result. It's a long-term work and requires daily hard work and consistent practice, time, efforts, travel, money etc. but in saying that, even small amount of consistent practice (depending on peoples goals, condition etc) there is still gradual positive changes, and gradual stability - as there should be with Traditional methods. Taoist Texts, you have only empty words with no basis, there is nothing more to say to you.

Yuanqi is not used in qigong (ζ°ε) note the character used - ζ° or ζ°£ - which is post-heaven Qi, there is another character used for Yuanqi. About Yuxianpai preparatory methods, to be honest I think it is not directly working with Yuanqi. Where did you hear about that?

Lol "read much of the same thing". Laozi was his teacher. You know, Dao is much more then just about what someone reads. -
How do you explain this phenomena in Taoist terms?
LaoZiDao replied to taoguy's topic in Daoist Discussion
Am I practising wrongly? What do you mean by deviation? Am I deviating from the Tao? How can I improve my practice? Energy deviations. Causing harm to your body and Qi. By changing your practice and getting a teacher from traditional school with traditional roots and verifiable linage.. Roving fire, Qi disharmony More of the same More of the same Keep going and it will get worse. You never achieved Dao to be deviating from it in the first place... -

LaoZiDao replied to taoguy's topic in Daoist Discussion
Sounds like common deviations if you ask me. You can find people writing all similar kinds of so called "results" from wide spread sitting methods.
